“Amazing and inventive Korean food in the East Village. Must-have starter is the scallop DIY gimbap where you create your own bites with seaweed. Great combination of sauces gives it an incredible umami mouthfeel.

For entrees, dolsot al-bop has the uni flavor in the form of bibimbop, served in a sizzling bowl. And the fried soft-shell crab is to die for.

Only complaint is feeling rushed by servers to clear plates and present the bill before being asked.“

“Walked into Fairfax on a Friday lunch and had one of the best burgers of my life. Juicy, stacked, crispy shoestring fries right on top. It’s the old Bar Sardine burger and it still absolutely slaps. The restaurant is super cute, the wine list is solid, and the service was great. Def the kind of place you post up with a bottle, spill some tea, and accidentally stay awhile.“

“Came to nowon because I hear great reviews about the burger. Was immediately greeted at the door by the manager gene he was warm and inviting and immediately sat us. We were then greeted by the server who was knowledgeable and extremely patient with all our questions. We settled on the tasting and it did not disappoint. Our table was touched numerous times and the experience was overall great. The server was amazing and gene went and above and beyond to accolade our allergies. They made us a special mock tail and there version of the espresso martini did not disappoint . I will be back for sure!

“For my first time coming to The Malt House was a pleasant experience. I came during brunch hours. I ordered the steak and eggs. The steak medium well and eggs sunny side up. I also got the bottomless mimosa upgrade which is 90 mins of unlimited mimosas from 10am-4pm Saturdays and Sundays. The waitress was hospitable and friendly. The service here is a 10/10. I would highly recommend The Malt House to anyone who prefers or likes American styles cuisine. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“I visited this bar for the 1st time. I tried the soy garlic fried chicken and scallion pancake. I also tried their lechee Sojo. I hope I spelled that correctly. The drink was delicious. The apple sojo was delicious as well. I didn't wake up with a hangover, and I drank a lot. I tried the karaoke, and that was so much fun. I would come back.“

“This victorian inspired restaurant was very pleasant to the eyes. It really looks like you’re stepping back in time. I hear they offer an afternoon tea. I would like to come back and try that someday but we were here for dinner and it was wonderful. We had the lobster ravioli, and the steak and frites. Everyone we came in contact with was attentive and pleasant. They also have a full bar so I imagine they have a great cocktail hour or so.“

“Had a great morning breakfast today at Goldies Tavern went on this Sunday with the ex wifey
after watching a concert on Saturday. We were the first there me It’s rare to be in a populated area near Madison Square Garden and be the first in and not have too much of a crowd, but there were no events going on so it was a slow Sunday Love the atmosphere here a lot of sports TVs & old bar and grill feel the staff were very friendly, cheerful happy and we’re very welcoming to us. We were offered water and other options to drink from Kristen and Chris. It almost felt like over personalized service because we were the only ones in the restaurant and they were waiting on us hand and foot. they were both friendly, kind and humorous They shared stories of the area and of the tavern. This is a really convenient location because it’s right next to a great hotel and only one block from Madison Square Garden. The food was scrumptious and delicious. I had eggs Benedict with a side of sausage and my lovely wife had avocado toast with hash browns . The overall experience and food were great. Would definitely recommend if you’re staying in the area or you just visiting MSG I suggest you pop in the staff and the food are great and the atmosphere is energetic and friendly.“
