“After finishing the New York marathon we arrived at this lovely restaurant. They served us very kindly. We had to sit at the bar and that was excellent. Pablo and Daniel served us, they are friendly people. We had a super delicious spicy tuna dish for dinner and the fish of the day, which was fantastic. IPA beer on tap and a Margarita. Dessert and espresso. Totally recommended. The chef is an artist, and the bartenders too!“

“Very authentic Mexican food, especially the mole which is really hard to get just right. Great brunch options - had the mole enchiladas, salsa verde enchiladas, guacamole, and corn pancakes. All delicious. Don’t expect basic Tex Mex food.

“My wife and I very much enjoyed our dinner at Casa Carmen. The food was exquisite and flavorful with a wide selection of dishes both for sharing and main courses. The cocktails were well balanced and highlighted mexican spirits and flavors. Our server was incredibly attentive and friendly, gave great recommendations, and explained where each dish comes from and how it is made. Most of all, the atmosphere was great! Wonderful mexican decor and not too loud we could actually have a conversation. 100% will be back“

“Wow. Amazing food and even better service! With so much great food in NYC, it's hard to pick a favorite but our dinner there last night may just be the best meal we've had this trip. Our daughter wanted Mexican for her birthday so we settled on Casa Bocado as it is connected to our hotel. Being from out of town, and staying in a hotel, we hadn't procured a cake for her but when the staff found out it was her birthday, they went completely out of their way to make it special!! We will definitely return to Casa Bocado!!“

“I cannot sing the praises of this place and the staff enough! We had a long day at the museum and we were all starving and the kids were very cranky. We took forever trying to find a place that they would all find something to eat at but that place didn't work out so we came here not realizing how lucky we were. After having a quick glance at the menu I realized two of my children would probably not eat anything. Two of the ladies that work there helped us work it out to piece together a meal for them with components they already have. It took quite a while figuring everything out but they were patient and helpful. The food was outstanding and the cocktails and mocktails were phenomenal. I wish I lived closer because this would be a regular place for me. Highly recommend!“

“As a native Los Angelino, there aren’t many places in nyc who make a Cali burrito which is similar to ones back home. Electric burrito hits the mark and keeps me coming back for home. I have recommended this place to all my friends and I would recommend it to all the LA/SD transplants in the area looking for a Cali or breakfast burrito.“

“It's easy here to become desensitized to fantastic food when you live in Greenwich Village. But every simple meal at The Little Taco House is still magical. Order three or four tacos -- carnitas, chicken tinga, shrimp, and al pastor are the best, in that order -- with spicy salsa, and a tamarind Jaritos. Talk to (and tip!) the two kind, hard-working people behind the counter, and let them know you'd like your food to stay. Eat immediately, at the small metal chairs outside. Each bite will slow time just a little bit even though you are having an extremely efficient meal.“

“It was a surprise to find this little restaurant in Harlem. There were no tables, and we took the last two seats at the bar. While we waited, I surprisingly felt at home. The aroma of the food, the care with which Karina prepared each of the dishes, and the kindness and joy they served us. By the time our table was ready, we didn't want to take it anymore; we ate much more than we planned to order because we didn't want to miss out on their delicious food. I have dietary restrictions, and I was surprised to see that everything from the exquisite tortillas to the delicious tres leches dessert was prepared right there, gluten-free and preservative-free. “Always walked past this place but never had the opportunity to try. Finally brought my parents here for them to experience Mexican food and this place was perfect!! Right from the decor, the tall open windows and the open kitchen, this place was a total vibe!
The spicy margaritas were delicious and a pitcher was perfect for the four of us. We also had the Guac and Totopos (freshly made tortilla chips). My dad tried the fried Baja fish taco and seemed to really enjoy it!“
