“Cosme is a true celebration of flavor and elevated Mexican cuisine. From the moment you walk in, the ambiance strikes the perfect balance—elegant, warm, and thoughtfully designed, with well-spaced tables that allow for comfortable conversation without overhearing your neighbors.

The service was outstanding—attentive without being intrusive. Our party of six ordered everything at once and shared family-style, and the pacing of each course was spot on.

We started with all the appetizers, and it was nearly impossible to choose a favorite. The scallops al pastor, the corn, and the bass were each exceptional in their own way—beautifully prepared and bursting with flavor.

For mains, the standout was the duck carnitas—tender, rich, and perfectly executed. An off-menu tomahawk ribeye, served with house-made salsa and fresh corn tortillas, was another highlight—arguably better than what you’d find at a top steakhouse.

Although Cosme offers a thoughtful wine list, we found ourselves captivated by the cocktails. The spicy margarita was a favorite, and the mezcal flight was both fun and expertly curated.

Unfortunately, we didn’t have room for dessert—but that only gives us another reason to return. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.“

“This is a fully vegan restaurant, and I found the food delicious. I could definitely recommend the enchiladas suizas—they were very tasty, but also extremely spicy, even after asking for the hot sauce on the side. I feel that if they hadn’t been so spicy, I would have absolutely loved them. The churros come with a delicious white sauce, and the coconut cake is a great option if you’re a fan of coconut.“

The decor is well thought out and intentionally executed to provide the aesthetic and ambiance of a tropical island escape and the food and cocktails were delicious. They offer indoor and outdoor dining and the atmosphere is relaxed but lively, and the staff was very courteous and attentive. Definitely worth the visit, and perfect for a girl's date, romantic date or celebratory dinner.“

“My husband and I were able to snag a bar seat without a ressie on a Saturday afternoon. While being ranked the number two bar in North America in 2025, it doesn’t have attitude. Everyone is super friendly and approachable. Michael was our bartender and he was so personable and fun!!

They have a nice agave selection and the drinks are so inventive and delicious.

And even though they definitely have clout and are a destination bar, they serve their neighborhood and have such a laid back vibe.

I got the “mushroom” margarita made with huitlacoche which is a fungus that grows on corn kernels in Mexico. It gives the margarita a slightly different, umami, flavor. I highly recommend!“

The menu is a celebration of bold, modern Mexican flavors. From the creamy guacamole with house-made chips to the slow-braised birria tacos, everything tasted fresh and carefully crafted. I also loved how the dishes were served ,presentation was beautiful but not overdone.

The drinks were just as memorable. Their signature cocktails blend mezcal, tequila, and tropical flavors in unexpected ways . I had a passion caliente that I’m still dreaming about.

“We were in town for a wedding, and this was the place where they hosted a pre-wedding celebration. The atmosphere was exciting, and regardless of the large crowd, the servers did an amazing job. Everyone had such an amazing and memorable time.“

They worked with me to select a menu and it was very easy to communicate with them. The night itself was great, everyone was so nice. “I cannot sing the praises of this place and the staff enough! We had a long day at the museum and we were all starving and the kids were very cranky. We took forever trying to find a place that they would all find something to eat at but that place didn't work out so we came here not realizing how lucky we were. After having a quick glance at the menu I realized two of my children would probably not eat anything. Two of the ladies that work there helped us work it out to piece together a meal for them with components they already have. It took quite a while figuring everything out but they were patient and helpful. The food was outstanding and the cocktails and mocktails were phenomenal. “Featured on Binging with Babish. This is an excellent breakfast burrito, we tried both the bacon and chorizo burritos. I slightly preferred the chorizo - hints of lime, big chunks of avocado. This is a hefty meal at a very good price. Excellent service, kind and friendly staff, and perfect to take to the park“

“Very cool, underground pregame spot. Spicy cucumber marg was nice. Mez cal pina colada was cool (a bit odd). The Al Pastor tacos are really good (just spicy!). I actually really liked the cheeseburger taco.

The chips & guac is super mid. Wouldn’t wonder again. Also, not enough guac for the chips :/

“It's easy here to become desensitized to fantastic food when you live in Greenwich Village. But every simple meal at The Little Taco House is still magical. Order three or four tacos -- carnitas, chicken tinga, shrimp, and al pastor are the best, in that order -- with spicy salsa, and a tamarind Jaritos. Talk to (and tip!) the two kind, hard-working people behind the counter, and let them know you'd like your food to stay. Eat immediately, at the small metal chairs outside. Each bite will slow time just a little bit even though you are having an extremely efficient meal.“

“It was a surprise to find this little restaurant in Harlem. There were no tables, and we took the last two seats at the bar. While we waited, I surprisingly felt at home. The aroma of the food, the care with which Karina prepared each of the dishes, and the kindness and joy they served us. By the time our table was ready, we didn't want to take it anymore; we ate much more than we planned to order because we didn't want to miss out on their delicious food. I have dietary restrictions, and I was surprised to see that everything from the exquisite tortillas to the delicious tres leches dessert was prepared right there, gluten-free and preservative-free.
