“Ordered takeout and I realized after getting to the hotel that they got my order wrong. It ended up being so good that I wasn’t even upset about the error.

To start, I love the menu and really appreciate the variety of options for simple rolls (healthy, limited/no filler ingredients) versus the usual sole focus on an array of specialty rolls. Additionally, the portions were perfect, especially the rice to protein ratio, and the prices are incredibly fair.

Lastly, i’m a fanatic for avocado maki rolls, and the avocado was so perfectly RIPE that it was borderline melting in my mouth. It might sound silly, but I was in heaven lol.

Place also looked super clean when I came in to pick up my order. Would absolutely love to come and dine-in next time.“

“We absolutely love it here at Kobe. We’re local to New City and used to go to another Japanese restaurant until we discovered Kobe about 4yrs ago. Since then we are regulars, we all love it - my husband and 3 daughters. We celebrate almost all of our family birthdays here - it’s always a good time. They always have something fun going on, most recently we attended their Anniversary party and everyone who attended had the opportunity to win a prize . They really appreciate their customers . The fish is fresh, the martinis are strong, the staff is always so gracious and pleasant. I can’t believe I hadn’t left a review sooner . “One of the best Ramen Bars I’ve ever been to. The flavors across the menu are unreal. The Spicy Miso Ramen w/ Pork Belly in particular was one of the best soup broths I’ve ever tasted. The service staff could not have been more friendly and courteous. The quaint setting and atmosphere lend themselves to almost feel like sitting at one big family style dinner table.“

“Samurai is a great go to spot. We normally do take out. Portion sizes are much smaller when taking out, at least when it comes to habatchi.

The wait staff were amazing so attentive and helpful. Beer was super cold and the leche martini is highly recommended.

The food however was a bit salty, and came out very spread out. The meat had little flavor…be sure to ask for lite soy sauce.

The sushi however is great. Anything on the menu.

“A great dining experience here. Loved the handrolls, homemade Udon noodles (!!), unique and interesting appetizers, fairly big portions for Japanese food, good service and minimalist decor. The dessert special on weekdays is amazing but they're huge, hope you saved room!
I'm going to deduct 1 star for the mediocre Sashimi over rice, which isn't quite chirashi but also not as flavorful as poke.
They also have a ton of non-alcoholic beverages and byob (wish we knew that before going tho.) Also, there doesn't need to be 2 different pork katsus (pork loin vs pork tenderloin), why not replace one with something new or inventive? But yes, they're delicious regardless. Can't wait to come back.“

Prices reflect food quality. Be prepared to pay for the best all around Japanese food in the area. I thoroughly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere.

They run it like fine dining, not like a casual sushi bar. So they have strict rules around noise, noisy kids, and cell phones. Don't expect to bring your kid and set him up with an ipad with the volume on. Seems reasonable. No outside food, no exceptions. Seems reasonable.

The servers were polite, no issues in this department.

“I had a wonderful date night yesterday at Osaka. I randomly had a taste for hibachi so I searched and came across this location in Tarrytown. Although it was a 30 min drive from home we decided to try our luck. When we arrived, to surprise it was jammed packed however they say us down and we had drinks while we waited. The hostess was very attentive during our wait and even provided edamame on the house because the wait was quite extensive due to 3 birthday celebration which were lagging at each table. Once we were seated the food was made fairly quick and my partner and I enjoyed our meals. The noodles were a bit salty but overall my I really enjoyed my meal and my partner even told me my pick was a great choice! I will be back soon!“
