“We were in Tarrytown on vacation and stopped in. I love to pick up local goods to bring home and I was not disappointed. Patrons and staff were kind and efficient. “I purchased a personalized gift for my son’s girlfriend who was running in a half marathon. My husband and I couldn’t be there to cheer her on. So we sent a personalized gift down to her with my son. When I asked if it was possible to make it that same day, the owner was beyond helpful. He made sure my pretzel was ready to pick up by the day’s end, recommended great dip choices, and even had a little extra dough left over to include 2 hearts. My son’s girlfriend LOVED her gift!! Thank you to the owners of this wonderful shop…I WILL be back!!“

“This is the first time my husband and I visited this diner. The atmosphere was welcoming. The waitress was very nice and attentive to our table. The food was excellent. We had soup for starters. The white bean soup was excellent. My husband had the Turkey, with avocado, lettuce and tomato, and sweet potato fries, while I had the pastrami with Swiss cheese and curly fries. “Literally a week before my son’s bday I found this place on a catering search. Can I just say everything was extremely amazing! From taste to presentation. Customer service was impeccable as well, walking into this place made you feel like you have been there before. “In an area where almost all restaurants and food options are fairly (too?) expensive (and not diverse enough), this small, reliable, buffet style Dominican takeout place is really welcome. As expected, good pork dishes; mofongo; rice, chicken, various salads; and other host dishes that vary. Good value, and great alternative to deli-lunch.“

“I was so happy to see that Fair Deal Cafe on Mamaroneck Avenue reopened. I was so upset when they closed. I drove by last week and saw the lights on. Sure enough, they are back and even better, under the original ownership. We just got our Italian combo fix today. One of the best in Westchester County. It's more diner style now but of course they still offer take out and delivery. Stop by and give them a try!“

“Grazie di tutto! Twice, recently, I dined at I'l Fresco with friends and family members; The words they used to describe Il Fresco were: -Fabulous - dinner was scrumptious -Phenomenal restaurant and staff -Tastiest sauce in the world - delicious hot bread out of the oven. -An Exceptional dining experience. -Amazing homemade tiramisu - wonderful desserts -Best meal ever - better than the meals I had while visiting Sorrento, Italy. From my cousin who went back to Belfast, Northern Ireland: I am keen to get back to visit again and hopefully we can visit the fantastic restaurant again, can't remember the name otherwise it would be getting a 5 star from me. Frank, Henry, Marissimo, and the entire staff always go the extra mile to provide "5" plus Star service. Thank you also - to the wonderful chef and staff behind the scenes. Thanks for everything! “Great parking, clean, well-stocked. Compliment to the neighborhood. There is coffee, breakfast items, then you have smoothies, beer cave that is “coming soon” and other items. Combination of a 7-Eleven on steroids, Jamba Juice, frozen yogurt, and gourmet small coffee house. Love this for the neighborhood. Hopefully it stays well maintained, especially those yogurt machines.“

“I’m afraid to be too honest about how much I loved my first visit to The Tasty Table for fear that the more of us who share the less chance I’ll get a table…but…it’s great!! I can hardly wait to return! Sunday brunch is fantastic! Busy and absolutely worth the wait! I had their delicious shakshuka and an early grey tea while my friend had the hamburger and a cappuccino. We both loved it!!! We ate outside which was lovely, but inside is even more lovely! The design is farmhouse chic meets French patisserie…a great combo!!! And…the staff was kind and generous!! I really look forward to going back!!“
