Our most recent visit was a mid-morning couple’s dining stop—our answer to a calling to bring pure health and exquisite taste into our bodies and souls. abcV was the perfect answer. We indulged in the unique “Pollen” smoothie (pollen, jungle peanut butter, dates, banana, almond milk, Himalayan salt). I can’t emphasize enough how delicious this chilled and creamy culinary delight was! First of all, it's gorgeous, so sunshine-y and green. We sat at the bar and the service was great. We ordered the cantaloupe slushies and they were so, so good! They weren't overly strong + they mix them themselves, just a few ingredients. The guac was a little small but delicious. The pork tacos were pretty expensive for 2, I thought, until I tasted them. WOW, so good. We were so busy catching up, we didn't realize they'd closed to get ready for dinner. They emphasized we hadn't overstayed our welcome, we could stay as long as we needed.
And the disco-themed restroom + playlist? Excellente“

“I’ve never felt more at home in a restaurant than Deser B. And his team made me feel tonight. He was the most authenticly kind and hospitable person I’ve met in New York and needs to be promoted to running all of the stores the way he runs this one.
This was the most authentic Mexican taco in north America. Corn tortillas made in House for each order fresh. I tried all of the protein sources and every single one of them slapped. 20 out of 5 stars. I mean if you don’t go here while you are in town you are crazy.

“Vegan Nigerian food. Most of the menu items use akara as the main protein, which is a type of deep fried bean fritter. It’s really excellent and gives everything a distinctive flavor and texture. I’d recommend starting with the Made in Lagos burger. They can be a bit slow, so you should order ahead online if you’re going to pick your food up.“
