Having dined at some of the finest restaurants around the world, we find that this spot rivals, and in many cases surpasses, all others. Our most recent visit was a mid-morning couple’s dining stop—our answer to a calling to bring pure health and exquisite taste into our bodies and souls. abcV was the perfect answer. We indulged in the unique “Pollen” smoothie (pollen, jungle peanut butter, dates, banana, almond milk, Himalayan salt). I can’t emphasize enough how delicious this chilled and creamy culinary delight was! Served elegantly in a cabernet-style wine glass, I could immediately feel my cells rejuvenate with this healthy creation. The warm vegan croissant was also lovely, with just the right amount of flakiness, perfectly paired with homemade apple butter—yum! “I’ve never felt more at home in a restaurant than Deser B. And his team made me feel tonight. He was the most authenticly kind and hospitable person I’ve met in New York and needs to be promoted to running all of the stores the way he runs this one.
This was the most authentic Mexican taco in north America. Corn tortillas made in House for each order fresh. I tried all of the protein sources and every single one of them slapped. 20 out of 5 stars. I mean if you don’t go here while you are in town you are crazy.

“My husband and I had the best experience here this evening! The food was so fresh and delicious! We each had Impossible burgers and they even have vegan cheese as well as vegan multi grain buns. The peanut butter chocolate milk shake and chocolate cake with vanilla cream (all vegan) we're the perfect desserts to complete our meal. Not too sweet either. I had a plate with raw marinated tuna, raw salmon and raw scallops. The little heaps of fish were so pretty on the plate with their contrasting colors.“

“RAAAAAH this place is a Brooklyn best. Flavorful Ethiopian food with a few twists here and there. The Kitfo plate is our go-to entree pretty much every time. We also consistently get the Lentil Sambusas which come with a fiery hot sauce. If you want something more classic, they have two sandwich options. A Lentil based burger or a Lion’s Mane Chicken sandwich. Both are really good and come with fantastically seasoned fries. If you go for brunch they’ve got a handful of awesome breakfast items like an SEC, Breakfast burritos, and even a vegan vanilla ice cream infused French toast which is a MUST. “I’ve been to another Che Li location a few times and visited this location for the first time back in May. The restaurant’s design is always lovely — each dining area is built like a small wooden oriental courtyard, which matches the Zhejiang cuisine theme perfectly.

We ordered quite a lot, and every dish turned out to be enjoyable. The crab roe noodle was especially delicious, better than the version I make at home lol. The soup dumpling were also quite good. Overall, a very refined and satisfying meal.“

“This is what we call “fine dining.” We did not reserve the main dining room, as one of our party did not care for prix fixe. We opted for the lounge as you can have from the menu or prix fixe. When you first arrive, you are greeted by a pleasant hat/coat check lady. We arrived early and said we would wait for the other couple and were invited to wait in the intimate cocktail area. The cocktails were superb and served with a house-made cocktail snack. When the guests of the party arrived, we were escorted to the lounge area. An intimate area with about six to eight tables. After being seated and greeted by the head server (maître d' or captain), who explained our options, we all opted for the menu. After looking at all the choices, we decided to split two appetizers. Even though the number of items on each choice was uneven, the server said, “Let me take care of it". And then beautifully presented plates arrived with equal portions. And it only got better from there. The entrées were each explained in detail, including their origins and how they were prepared. I could go on and on. The fish, beef, duck breast, and pork were everything we expected and more. We all commented, maybe the best we have had. The house made desserts were perfect. I had possibly the best cheese plate I have ever had. The entire staff of servers were professionals and enhanced the evening. The most disappointing part of the evening was when a guest entering the dining room (after removing his overcoat) came in dressed in Dockers and a short-sleeve polo. This is an insult to the owner, the chef, and the entire staff at this fine restaurant. But maybe he was an elite or a “special” person. We all said we would be back.“
