“abcV - (address 38 E 19th St, New York, NYC) phone: 212-475-5829 abcV is a phenomenal restaurant. The food was mouthwatering, brilliantly crafted, and delightfully health-giving. Having dined at some of the finest restaurants around the world, we find that this spot rivals, and in many cases surpasses, all others. Our most recent visit was a mid-morning couple’s dining stop—our answer to a calling to bring pure health and exquisite taste into our bodies and souls. abcV was the perfect answer. We indulged in the unique “Pollen” smoothie (pollen, jungle peanut butter, dates, banana, almond milk, Himalayan salt). I can’t emphasize enough how delicious this chilled and creamy culinary delight was! Served elegantly in a cabernet-style wine glass, I could immediately feel my cells rejuvenate with this healthy creation. The warm vegan croissant was also lovely, with just the right amount of flakiness, perfectly paired with homemade apple butter—yum! Another ‘must-have’ highlight was abcV’s take on Avocado Toast, enhanced with Virgin Coconut & Argan Oils, Crunchy Seeds, Cumin, Sprouts, and shaved carrots. Wow! Thank you, abcV! We can’t wait to return!“

“First, I need to preface this was a Thanksgiving dinner. It is almost always the case that holiday dinners (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Eve etc) there is a usual penalty the diner takes in quality and elevated price. It is not a criticism of Empire Steak House, just how things work in the industry to set the context.\n\nWith that stated and considered, the overall meal was better than I expected. My only real criticism regarding the food was the pumpkin soup was a little thin. \n\nWe each had filet mignon. They were well prepared and of good quantity and quality. Staff were accommodating and friendly. We even received a little complimentary port after dessert, which was a nice gesture. \n\nWe had the set Thanksgiving menu which gave you multiple choices for starter, principal plate, and dessert. We had the pumpkin soup and calamari to start (see prior comments on the soup. The fried calamari was fine). We both found the vegetables well prepared that went with our steaks. For dessert, the pumpkin pie was tasty and well portioned along with the sorbet.\n\nIn addition to the above food, we had three glasses of wine. The total price with tax and 20% tip was $365. All in all this was a good value. We may return. Even though we generally don't go out for steak very often, this may be a safer bet in the theater district since the ingredients at Empire Steak House seem to be of good quality and charming service.“

“I’ve never felt more at home in a restaurant than Deser B. And his team made me feel tonight. He was the most authenticly kind and hospitable person I’ve met in New York and needs to be promoted to running all of the stores the way he runs this one.
This was the most authentic Mexican taco in north America. Corn tortillas made in House for each order fresh. I tried all of the protein sources and every single one of them slapped. 20 out of 5 stars. I mean if you don’t go here while you are in town you are crazy.
The toppings and salsa were the best I’ve ever had. The tacos were ready in less than 1 min after I ordered. They are obsessed with being the best and it stands out“

“My wife and I generally eat for five people, we ordered 4 small plates and 2 mains, still looking into dessert. Each dish had its own layer of perfection with unique flavors and exquisite presentation. I’d say a restaurant on its way to becoming Michelin…..bravo! “Loved every dish- fluke with black tea, mint and peach(who knew raw fish and fruit went so well together?), amazing grilled artichokes and grilled eggplant. Barely touched my pasta with preserved lemon because I was full, but it was delicious. My daughter’s burger was iconic. The Platonic ideal of hamburgers. Coffee was also delicious. If we had not made a plan to go to La Cabral for dessert and more coffee, I am sure dessert would have been equally excellent.Service was excellent and our waitress was knowledgeable and interested in the food.The fluke reminded me of the first time I went to USC in 1988. I had a plate with raw marinated tuna, raw salmon and raw scallops. The little heaps of fish were so pretty on the plate with their contrasting colors.“

“As soon as you walk in the aromas of the African spices hit your nose n boy is it incredible! Ingrid was our lovely server. She recommended the BASIL INSTINCT: which was the best drink I’ve had all year. For appetizer, my bestie (who previously visited) recommended the KITFO SAMBUSA which literally tasted like ground beef but somehow it wasn’t lol. How do they do that? By far, the best dish was my bestie’s dish: SHASHAMANE BOWL. It was so good that I ordered a plate to go. This is the way vegetables are supposed to taste like! I promise you that you won’t miss the meat with this one! Jam packed with flava! “I’ve been to another Che Li location a few times and visited this location for the first time back in May. The restaurant’s design is always lovely — each dining area is built like a small wooden oriental courtyard, which matches the Zhejiang cuisine theme perfectly.
We ordered quite a lot, and every dish turned out to be enjoyable. The crab roe noodle was especially delicious, better than the version I make at home lol. The soup dumpling were also quite good. Overall, a very refined and satisfying meal.“
