“Wing Wah Kitchen's sesame chicken was a real treat! The chicken was very tasty, and the fluffy white rice was the perfect accompaniment. It definitely hit the spot for a Chinese food craving. While the food was enjoyable, the establishment itself could benefit from some attention to cleanliness and maintenance. A little sprucing up would go a long way in making the dining environment feel more welcoming and inviting.“

And I ordered yesterday lol I was hoping they were open later today but completely understand (That’s my fault lol) but if you EVER want the best chicken and broccoli or salmon sushi/cream cheese/ avocado it’ll change your life lol.. Their egg drop wonton soup, spring roll, I mean there’s not a THING I’ve ordered and said “eh this is okay” it’s always WOW.. I've been to many restaurants in Flushing and Manhattan and I gotta say that Spice Workshops food is even better than some of those restaurants. The flavor is very authentic to what szechuan food is suppose to be. My recommendation for ordering:

- Shredded pig feet with peppers
- Cabbage
- Sweet and sour fried crispy pork
- Hunan beef with green peppers

The pork fried rice is just okay it would be great it they had bigger chunks of pork in the rice. I suggest getting the regular large quarts of food rather than the combination platter because it has less food in it. Also the soup could have a better brothy taste to it. Fried dumplings, shrimp toast, combo beef and broccoli, which comes with fried rice and an egg roll. Now for many places thus far, i have never been able to find where all the items were good. Its usually none or one or two of the items i order. ALL of it was very good! I like how you can order delivery directly from their website and pay cash upon delivery (like the good ole days!). And while its not that far, I am in Centereach and this place in in Nesconset, it is about 4 miles away which is not directly in my local area and yet it still got here pretty fast and HOT! I would definitely order from them again based on taste alone!“

This spot would be a 5/5 stars if they were twice consistent. As mentioned, the first time I visited it was delicious; especially the Egg foo young sauce/gravy.

Came back last week and it tasted “similar” but not nearly the same. Much to heavy of the minty flavor in the topping. Maybe they have a new cook in training or just over-measured. Regardless, not a big deal.

Food is good overall and I think I’ll give C Garden another shot. If they go back to the flavor first time I visited I’ll give them that 4 -> 5 ⭐️ promotion.

However, when I called them within 10 minutes, they had another order ready and dropped off to me. “I grew up going there. I always liked it. I would get the chicken and broccoli with white sauce, white rice. I would get wonton soup and shrimp roll. It's been there over 30 years. I don't know if it's new owners, have not ate there in awhile. I think it's been a few years. I have to back and try again. It's a take place, but they have a few tables. I called I wanted delivery which they don't do. I understand the roads are crazy, safety, they are busy cooking. They have I think GrubHub but I don't have any if those delivery apps. Anyway delivery can get expensive fuel charge, etc. Some places don't charge delivery fees, but your still tipping. Anyway they have good lunch specials. If they have cheese wontons I would try. I would hope they would be bid and filled with alot of cheese. Enjoy.“
