“Went to the brand new Houston location and things are a bit rocky with staffing and supplies but I want to brag on your employee CAMILLA ! We came from NC and after visiting Puerto Rico several times I was so excited for this experience! She was so patient with us! Answered all our questions with a very helpful and cheerful attitude even tho she was drowning in drink orders! With only one other helper, she never showed any frustration and provided excellent above and beyond customer service! The cashier with her was brand new and super sweet as well! Camilla even gave me a hug when we left! She made my whole morning! And gave us the absolute best breakfast recommendation as well! Thank u so much Camilla for your grace and kindness this morning. U had no idea that my Morning started out so crappy, and your sweet personality and loving spirit really turned my day around and the tres leches latte was AMAZING 🙌🏼🩷💯 yall go see them and be patient …..it’s worth the wait ❤️ side note… the whole place is decorated beautifully! “Came by through this 787 location after a follow up appointment this morning nearby. The morning has been quite sensitive for me after receiving sad news from family in Puerto Rico. I was craving a coquito latte to just indulge and sit with my feelings a little bit and I’m really happy I came by. The staff provided me with a special moment at just the right time that overwhelmed me emotionally in the sweetest way. Very grateful to the team for receiving me today and helping me settle with a kind gesture. <3

“What an amazing specialty coffee shop here in Brooklyn. The cortado was delicious and I also got a hot chocolate for the kids. The staff were so friendly and kind. The service was extremely fast. They also were generous and gave me some extra cups to give out the hot chocolate to my kids in different cups. There is some space to sit and work or meet but the place was already pretty packed back late morning. I’d highly recommend coming here if you like good espresso and specialty coffee“

“The vibe here is so cozy warm and friendly, but it's not the best for settling in and getting work done due to their 90 min policy.

The cafe is spacious and the drinks and pastries are delicious. I wanted to try the famous pistachio croissant but they were out at 2pm! So I got the pistachio muffin on my guy's rec. It's filled with pistachio butter. So delicious, pistachio lover's dream. Their hot chocolate is really rich and chocolatey too, not watery at all.

As for service, the reviews about wanting to be the baristas' best friend are accurate, they are very kind and caring people. The guy who took my order thoughtfully toasted my muffin without me even asking!“

“Incredible espresso!! This place is the real deal specialty coffee shop. I really enjoyed my visit and loved the space. They have very good offerings here for coffee and espresso.

They also offer an iced green tea with the espresso as a pallet cleanser in a really cool setting. You can buy a lot of varieties of freshly roasted specialty beans here as well.“

“Mikes has been a staple in the community for almost 40 years i remember bringing my kid to have breakfast on Saturday mornings before her activities it was cheap and cheerful Pratt students and faculty would be there as well. Now its practically same staff bathroom remodeled and costs have increased but so as everuthing else same friendly and fulfilling breakfast no bells and whistles but simple good food“

“Excellent little Cafe tucked away on a side street in Brooklyn. Run by two delightful sisters. Food was awesome and the Cappuccino. The Waffles I had were amazing with homemade batter. Definitely on my new spot of must stops in Bushwick.“

“The coffee house is chill, places to sit, wait time isn't bad at all. The staff are kind and accommodating and the prices are fair too (trust me, it's not outrageous!)

Besides that, this place host some events on Thursdays (every other Thursday, dont quote me though) and if you're new to Sunnyside I recommend it!

“My husband and I made the long drive yesterday (2 1/2 hrs each way) from upstate NY to visit our daughter in NYC just for the day. While strolling around her neighborhood we came upon your lovely bakery and cafe and after eyeing the beautiful carrot cake in the window, we had to go in. Carrot cake is my favorite sweet treat. There were so many beautiful choices, but we got 2 slices of carrot cake to take back home with us. After the long drive back home we were really looking forward to a piece of cake and a cup of coffee. I opened one of the beautifully packed boxes, which revealed an enormous slice of yumminess!! The slice was big enough for at least 3 people. I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Everything about this cake was phenomenal. The frosting was outstanding, the cake was so flavorful and moist. It was the best we’ve ever had. We have enough left for a few days. I’m so glad we stopped in. It was a great way to end our lovely day in the city and will most certainly go back on our next trek in . I will also have to get our daughter pick up some baked goods when she’s coming home for a visit. I highly recommend Crumbly Cafe & Bakery😊😊“

“Ive been coming to Annie’s for over a year and love it so much! Their coffee is top tier! I usually get a latte or their draft La Colombe cold brew. It’s always made perfect they also have a variety of pastries and bagels. I’m a big dog lover and have a doodle of my own and this place is super cute because they have a separated dog friendly back area which you can bring your dog to socialize with others and enjoy your coffee.“

“A few years ago, I was hired to write a series of articles about regional Italian cuisine. Since then, I have been looking for traditional Italian gelato. Until yesterday, I have been consistently disappointed. But this? It was absolutely EVERYTHING I had dreamed about. The prices weren't ridiculous, the bathroom was PRISTINE, the staff were helpful and friendly and it was incredibly, amazingly delicious. My only complaint is that I live too far away from your stores to get it very often. But about that? My hips are less upset about the distance. :) I will definitely be back, though!“
