“Went to the brand new Houston location and things are a bit rocky with staffing and supplies but I want to brag on your employee CAMILLA ! We came from NC and after visiting Puerto Rico several times I was so excited for this experience! She was so patient with us! Answered all our questions with a very helpful and cheerful attitude even tho she was drowning in drink orders! With only one other helper, she never showed any frustration and provided excellent above and beyond customer service! The cashier with her was brand new and super sweet as well! Camilla even gave me a hug when we left! She made my whole morning! And gave us the absolute best breakfast recommendation as well! Thank u so much Camilla for your grace and kindness this morning. “The vibe here is so cozy warm and friendly, but it's not the best for settling in and getting work done due to their 90 min policy.

The cafe is spacious and the drinks and pastries are delicious. I wanted to try the famous pistachio croissant but they were out at 2pm! So I got the pistachio muffin on my guy's rec. It's filled with pistachio butter. So delicious, pistachio lover's dream. Their hot chocolate is really rich and chocolatey too, not watery at all.

As for service, the reviews about wanting to be the baristas' best friend are accurate, they are very kind and caring people. The guy who took my order thoughtfully toasted my muffin without me even asking!“

“Lovebirds was the perfect spot to have my son's first birthday party! We served hors d'oeuvres and dessert which were all amazing! The ceviche and the espresso cheesecake were my favorite! I loved that we didn't feel crowded in the space but it also felt cozy. I will definitely come back and would love to use the space again in the future for another event!“

“I am obsessed with Café Miguel's café de olla. I have been chasing the taste of that Mexican coffee since first trying it in Mexico City years ago, and theirs is incredible. The brunch line can be long, but it's worth it; the chilaquiles are delicious. I have no idea how they make so many different things so fast in that tiny, open air kitchen.“

“Incredible espresso!! This place is the real deal specialty coffee shop. I really enjoyed my visit and loved the space. They have very good offerings here for coffee and espresso.

They also offer an iced green tea with the espresso as a pallet cleanser in a really cool setting. You can buy a lot of varieties of freshly roasted specialty beans here as well.“

“This was our second time going there. Our daughter goes to Pratt and it's walking distance from the school. It's a small diner but friendly staff. On one of the coldest days of winter the host made sure people were not waiting long for tables as best as she could. The food was good and service was really good. I'm glad my daughter has a place like this close to her dorm.“

“Excellent little Cafe tucked away on a side street in Brooklyn. Run by two delightful sisters. Food was awesome and the Cappuccino. The Waffles I had were amazing with homemade batter. Definitely on my new spot of must stops in Bushwick.“

“The coffee house is chill, places to sit, wait time isn't bad at all. The staff are kind and accommodating and the prices are fair too (trust me, it's not outrageous!)

Besides that, this place host some events on Thursdays (every other Thursday, dont quote me though) and if you're new to Sunnyside I recommend it!

“My husband and I made the long drive yesterday (2 1/2 hrs each way) from upstate NY to visit our daughter in NYC just for the day. While strolling around her neighborhood we came upon your lovely bakery and cafe and after eyeing the beautiful carrot cake in the window, we had to go in. Carrot cake is my favorite sweet treat. There were so many beautiful choices, but we got 2 slices of carrot cake to take back home with us. After the long drive back home we were really looking forward to a piece of cake and a cup of coffee. I opened one of the beautifully packed boxes, which revealed an enormous slice of yumminess!! The slice was big enough for at least 3 people. I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Everything about this cake was phenomenal. The frosting was outstanding, the cake was so flavorful and moist. It was the best we’ve ever had. We have enough left for a few days. I’m so glad we stopped in. It was a great way to end our lovely day in the city and will most certainly go back on our next trek in . I will also have to get our daughter pick up some baked goods when she’s coming home for a visit. I highly recommend Crumbly Cafe & Bakery😊😊“

“Lemon loaf is on point - you definitely taste the lemon, not too sweet, perfect pairing with my coffee which was a maple cardamom latte with almond milk - sounds good right! It was good. The coffee is probably the most decent one we have had. Freindly service in an establishment that has that lovely family feel about it. Whats more, they are dog friendly.“
