“We went to this wonderful restaurant today for the first time, and it was unbelievably great! The man who waited on us answered all of our questions, the environment is warm and inviting, the service was the best ever, service was great, and we were not hurried in any way. Prices are reasonable and the quantity of food is spot on for hungry people. And of course, don't forget the desserts. There is a whole case of desserts to choose, and they were DELICIOUS. We will definitely go back and go back again and again.”

He and some teammates discovered this place and go there for lunch literally every day they have home games. This place is the best-family owned and operated, great food great prices, great service! Tiramisu is my favorite thing in the world and Mamma G’s tiramisu is the best I have ever had. Carlo is the bomb!”

“Rochester NY Wedding Cakes is the BEST! Michael and Erin are wonderful to work with. They are very responsive and very helpful with any questions you ask. They had so many flavors to try and made an absolutely beautiful cake for our wedding. Every tier was delicious and I was so sad that so much of it was eaten that there was hardly any left for me to take home to eat the rest of the week! Highly recommend for any wedding or any event for a beautiful and delicious cake.”

The amount of food is so insane, plenty for 3 ppl. Everything on that platter was absolutely delicious, everything cooked to perfection. We will Absolutely be back. When are you coming to Syracuse?”

“This space was amazing! It was stress free to book and to plan my event. Everyone was so helpful and our bartender, Hilery was fantastic. We definitely had more than enough space for all our guests and the venue didn't even need any extra decorations. We had plenty of time to set up and take down. All afternoon my guests were telling me Fairport Brewing was a wonderful place to have a party. I am sure if I need to have a party again, I will definitely come here. The only downside (and it's not really big) is some people had a hard time finding it. In my invite I made sure to tell everyone it is not in Fairport but University Ave. I also wish there was a sign hanging on the front of the venue so people definitely could see it as they drive back. The negative is not even a real negative, just a suggestion. It really was a wonderful time.”

A server brought us a plate of BBQ samples to try. Everything was good. On-street parking available plus a nearby parking ramp (for a fee). The place was noisy but had a great vibe.”

Had the smoked pork sandwich with coleslaw on it. A phenomenal pairing Tried the bbq spaghetti which nearly blew me outta my seat!!! The bbq sauce was epic! @strangebird you need to shrink the size of the bbq spaghetti to a fries size and server them with the handhelds in place of French fries with that bbq sauce. Cuz heck yes! That bbq sauce on the side as a dipper 🤩🤩🤩. Great job to the staff. Bigger vehicles might wanna park on the street. If it’s busy, the parking lot is very narrow.”

Stacy was great, greeted us when we walked in, and once we got to the counter and she found out we had never been there before she came around the counter and told us about the menu and gave insight on how their meats are prepared and explained the menu to us. She was AMAZING!!
Got our food very quickly and the food was just as great as the service, we love eating at Famous Dave’s (large chain of restaurants) and I have to be honest, this place is much better. All of the sauces are good, they have something for pretty much any taste out there. The seasonal side of corn casserole was amazing, if they have it when you stop in, GET IT!!

Cooked to perfection, and as 2 chefs on a date who are highly critical of others cooking, we were BOTH impressed. Atmosphere was warm and inviting, and presentation was impeccable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I took some pics & vids and have a smaller social media of 22K that i plan on directing to go to this extremely good restaurant if they are in the Rochester area. The cocktails are presented with class and flare as well. If you’re looking for that perfect place for a romantic date night dinner, business meeting or just a foodie… this is a MUST-GO! The food was good. We previously had a catered event with the barbecue package and it was delicious. Was hoping those items on menu but they weren't.
We started with the artichoke cristini app. It was so good...we fought over the last one. I had an Asian pork sandwhich with sweet potato fries; my husband had a pizza and 2 other family members had burgers. No complaints about the food. Good portion sizes. Hot. Reasonable prices.”

Got to go food for Thanksgiving no one touched it the the artichoke French looked like chicken nuggets terrible look like it was baked not sauteed the clams casino were as big as to Wegmans water bottle caps I took a picture was going to even send it to them but you know they don't do anything anyways we got 25 clams casino maybe a total of those clams were four clams that's all small they were nobody even ate them I'm going to be calling to take them back but someone said don't bother they don't care about their food coming out they think because they had a name that they were good you got to keep up that good food otherwise people stop coming”

The only thing I was disappointed in ( which wasn’t any of these peoples doing) was my porterhouse steak. For the money, it should have been a nice cut. It was an end cut, one that even some stores don’t use…let alone a very upscale restaurant. It was also supposed to be med rare n was med. I didn’t send it back because st least it was pink, but it was well past med rare. My crab cake was very good. The lobster and crab mac and cheese was also very good. I’d definitely recommend and go back. Just not sure if I’d get the porterhouse again. Probably go with just the filet.”

Also I had two cheese pizza slices and each was $5. The taste was okay but I think it was expensive. Plenty of parking available. You have to order first and then they will call your name when it is ready. Kind of Self service. Also, ice cream was available. They had two flavors chocolate and sea salt caramel but chocolate ice cream was only available on that day. A restroom was also available.”

They were easy to work with, gave us a great deal and checked in a few times to make sure everything was on schedule. When I arrived for pick-up they greeted me at the door by my first name with smiles just like I was family. They also helped to load everything into my trunk. A few days after the event they even checked in to see how everything went! This is how you run a business! It’s hard in 2023 to find an establishment with that kind of class and professionalism. Nestled in a city neighborhood, this place is delicious with a super cute patio. Food gave off an "Old School Italian American" vibe in the best possible way. We enjoyed flavorful housemade meatballs in a great sauce. Burrata was tasty with the most delicious charred tomatoes (we omitted the prosciutto at one diner's preference). The salads were just the right size if you wanted to have those and split a pizza, which two of us did. The Funghi Pizza was tasty and had just the right amount of truffle (some places go overboard). This was a super hit -- very crave-able! For our pickier diner, the Spicy Cup Pepperoni Pizza was the perfect option. Both pizzas had a nice crust, baked nicely, and a perfect amount of cheese. Service was friendly and attentive. Everyone greatly enjoyed the meal. We'll definitely return.”

My only reason it's not 5 stars is that we had a weird miscommunication with he server. 2 people at the table asked for a side of churros and the other had chicken and churro entree. The server came over and said that they can't do the churros and so the person with the chicken and churros ordered side of fries instead and they 2 others with the sides of churros asked for sides of bacon instead. Fast forward, all of us got our entress instead of 1 person. They waited 15 minutes longer than everyone else. Then all of a sudden 3 sides of churros came out. The server said ok the kitchen is trying these. So now at this point everyone had their replacement sides and now 3 sides of churros. We assumed they "were testing them" since that's what the server said and they would be on the house since now that's too much food. But when we got the bill we were charged for the curros and the other sides. It was just confusing overall with the communication on that and then also we got charged for sides and the cjurros when we wanted 1 or the other not both. The manager, which I think is the owner was very nice and they comped the churros. It sounded like the server told them that we didn't like the churros, but it was more of the principle of being charged. Would definitely go back, I would never hold a miscommunication against a restaurant, but just wanted to voice a few things. Overall cool new spot”

The wine is exquisite; something for every palate. The space is beautiful; inviting and comfortable through the changing of the seasons. I picked up several pastries that were unique to me that day. Picked up some Korean (I believe) breads for my daughter and son-in-law and a cinnamon twist bread to go with my Lavender Matcha Latte. They did not disappoint, and they have the best Lavender Matcha Latte in the Rochester area. I stop in whenever I’m on that side of town. Last time in, I had a delicious breakfast sandwich with my Lavender Matcha. Yum!”

The dumplings wasn’t great as the filling has barely any taste. Tso chicken was good. the rice could be a little softer, it was a bit dry. Ramen broth was good as well. It was first time I had Tonkotsu ramen that had no corn, kinda strange. The pork also can be improved as it a bit dry and hard to bite. And boba, not sure if they got the wrong one, but I didn’t taste any brown sugar flavor, it was just regular milk tea. Gave 4 stars since overall experience isn’t bad, I still enjoy the food, just need improvement here and there. Staffs are friendly.”

“If you're looking to eat at a Jersey Mike's in the area, this is absolutely the one to go to. I moved up here at the start of the year just as this location was in the process of opening up, and happened to meet the owner of the store, who encouraged me to come back.
I have since returned to this location at least once every week and a half or so- not only because the food is amazing and the location is clean, but because the staff at this location are excellent.
Unfortunately, every time I step into this location, it seems, there's rude customers giving some of the employees a hard time- and I have watched these excellent people handle their service with grace and professionalism while still maintaining a high quality in their delivery.
No one deserves to be treated badly at their job and I wouldn't begrudge anyone for being annoyed after dealing with people like that, but this employees get through it anyways. I can tell how much they care about just making good food and a great experience for everyone who walks in the door, and I suspect the influence of the owner definitely helps.
