I got the cream tart and the pork bun. Both were really good.

Only downside is the entire place was full of people sitting with their laptops so wasnt able to sit anywhere inside.“

They now have a beautiful garden with fresh herbs and a patio to enjoy Vendors on the weekends selling beautiful things The staff and owner were very nice and welcoming! “Beautiful coffee shop on Queens Blvd. I had a cortado and a black cup of coffee. Both were just ok. The food and the pastires are the draw here. Too many delicious cakes to mention. The avocado toast was outstanding. Topped with grape tomatoes, feta, calmata olives, and herbs. Outstanding. I had the spinach and cheese filo dough pie that was great as well. The shop is very well appointed. There's outdoor seating. Service was great.“

“Went to the brand new Houston location and things are a bit rocky with staffing and supplies but I want to brag on your employee CAMILLA ! We came from NC and after visiting Puerto Rico several times I was so excited for this experience! She was so patient with us! Answered all our questions with a very helpful and cheerful attitude even tho she was drowning in drink orders! With only one other helper, she never showed any frustration and provided excellent above and beyond customer service! The cashier with her was brand new and super sweet as well! Camilla even gave me a hug when we left! She made my whole morning! And gave us the absolute best breakfast recommendation as well! Thank u so much Camilla for your grace and kindness this morning. “Espresso is so well defined and smooth. Had lovely almost honeyed notes. Really lovely little space with comfortable seating, nice decor, and very kind and prompt service. Milk alternatives include oat, macadamia nut, and almond— I really love the macadamia nut. I would go out of my way to come back here.“

“Okka is a lovely neighborhood spot that’s a big part of our community, family-run been here for 5 years and Onur is always so kind as is his wife and the other people who run this coffeeshop. They have outdoor seating too which is rare to find in this area. Quiet corner for daily coffee and baklava. Their croissants and be&c are great too“

“I ordered the greek wedding cookies and they were absolutely delicious. Growing up in Astoria, I had access to the best Greek/Mediterranean food, and these surpassed my expectations. I can’t wait to go back and try all the other items offered. Great spot and location.“

“Very cute and clean spot! Everything we got was delicious & we would 100% get it again!
-the croffles are perfect chewiness & texture, and they are the right level of sweet without being overpowering
-the Kagoshima match latte was nice and rich....and the strawberry cream just made it even better
- the pandan latte was amazing! Just the right amount of pandan and espresso, both flavors came through without one dominating the other

And 5 stars to the baristas, who were really cool about adding strawberry cream to my wife's matcha after I forgot to order it 😅 thank you for saving me from certain gruesome death!!“

“This place is quiet for working and enjoying coffee and chai lattes. After spending the majority of the working week for months here at Olas, the baristas have always been consistently neighborly and friendly. Love the cups made by a local artist as well. ❤️“

They didn’t have regular iced coffee or plain unsweetened tea when we visited—most of the drinks were on the sweeter, more specialty side. “Visited Obscure after visiting Dayglow and Sey on the same day, and Obscure was 100x better. Their coffee selection and pour over technique was way better than the other two. I was able to taste all the notes listed on the coffee description, and it was a reasonable price! I had the Edinson Argote and the Edwin Noreña and they were amazing! Especially the Edinson Argote with its tart black cherry note that made my mouth water. Definitely recommend for pour over. I will be ordering their coffee in the near future.“

“I'm new to the coffee world. I went from Dunkin to Starbucks to Ciao Bella Coffee. I feel the Caramel Latte is top-tier. I haven't found a better latte. This dark roast. I believe it is the best. I haven't found any other shop that makes it like them. This is the best latte I've ever had, plus the environment is warm and welcoming. They are used to my order. I grab it and go before work.“

“Stopped here for coffee and a pastry during a visit with my son who lives close by. I absolutely loved the chill vibe set by the decore, jazz music and incredibly kind owner. He insisted on warming the pieces of banana/chocolate chip bread that we ordered (take him up on this if he offers-it makes the outside slightly cripsy and the inner part warm and gooey!) and let us know that their coffee is imported from Cameroon (one of the BEST cups of coffee I’ve ever had). The local art hanging on the wall was beautiful, and it’s obvious by the events held regularly in the space that providing community is very important to the owners. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in the neighborhood!“

“Coffee addict visiting from Portland, Oregon. This sweet place was down the street from where we’re staying. I visited just after opening and was greeted warmly by the owner. Got a drip coffee, an oat milk latte, a blueberry scone and a morning roll. Everything was delicious, and I left with a smile. I’ll be back!

Update: I went for my morning coffee every morning while in Brooklyn. The owner (Kent) was always unfailingly friendly. I can add the vegan banana nut muffin to the list of excellent baked goods I tasted. I also bought a bag of House Coffee Blend beans (roasted in-house) to remind me of those Brooklyn mornings. I’ll definitely be back once we’re visiting Brooklyn again.“

“We had the honey lavender latte and the new macadamia nut white chocolate chai. Lavender was super good, not perfumey like a drink like that can sometimes be. Same for the macadamia, very nut forward, giving cookie without being overpoweringly sweet. Will definitely be coming back!“
