When I finally try that food I just got in shock. Super tasty, delicious, the Trinidad and Dominican Republic flavors- was so down the earth. So thankful to have them at the neighborhood, the service is excellent and Yesenia and her employees super professionals. The ambiance and decoration soo relaxing- I love the food and the service, how they welcome you, is hard to find a place like that. “My food was delicious. I had the 60/40 and fries. The space is cozy and positive. It’s perfect for takeout, but there are a few seats and a counter available inside. Ordering is simple; just use the tablet on the wall. I can’t wait to try new things when I’m in town again! 🍔❤ It was a nice difference compared to what I usually find in Phoenix, AZ. The attendant was very polite and patient with me. I was extremely jet-lagged.“

“Best sandwich I’ve had in a long time or probably ever! I got the French onion, which was a special and it was huge and delicious and really filling. Despite being busy, the owner took their time explaining some of the sandwiches to me and warned me that they were taking a little longer than usual to get orders out, but the wait time felt totally reasonable and definitely worth it. I ate inside, which does have limited seating but that was fine since a lot of people seem to order to go. But it’s not far from Maria Hernandez Park so I’d take my sandwich there next time! “I had such a wonderful dining experience here recently. Everything we ordered arrived fresh and full of flavor. The steam rising off the hot skillet was a perfect welcome to the meal, and the lemon slice on top was a nice touch.

The rice and naan were both excellent accompaniments to the main dishes. I especially enjoyed the vibrant green peas in the curry and the beautiful texture of the topped appetizers. It is a fantastic spot to grab a great meal on Grand Street.“

Hannah checked me out- also is very kind with great customer service, (also I swear she was floating) anyways highly recommend the food here. It doesn't have fancy decor, nor does it serve mind-blowing dishes with flavors you can't find anywhere else.
However, their food is very wholesome and down-to-earth, without the heavy oils or excessive salt used to aggressively hook a customer's palate.
The prices are also very affordable—I imagine people working nearby frequent this place often.
I'm a delivery truck driver, and whenever I pass through this area, I make sure to stop by.
The elderly owner is Taiwanese and extremely kind, and they also employ some Spanish staff. The overall work atmosphere is wonderful, and I'm certain the owner treats them very well. Dining here gives you a sense of peace that you just can't find anywhere else.
You shouldn't go out of your way just to eat here, but if you happen to be passing by, you definitely have to drop in and check it out.“

“The food at Djondjon is spot on.... This restaurant is a jewel. The food is amazing, and the hospitality is off the chart. There is free jazz often enough. The quality far surpasses the price. I love their pasta, their fish and their goats which come in various varieties. Their appetizers are yummy. I will continue to patronize this place. I had baba ghanoush, Julienne pickled carrots , and a cubed roasted eggplant, onion, and tomato. So flavorful without being overpowering w any one ingredient. Eddy makes everything homemade by hand. Everything! The falafel, hummus, baba ghanoush, the pickles, the pita. Pita so good. Large thick and soft. My friends had a beef kabob sandwich and chicken plate. They said it was delicious. “Very nice location and layout is very welcoming with a lot of outdoor and indoor seating. Quick and friendly staff.

The ricotta starter was amazing with a great balance of flavors.
The Pancakes were beautiful but very dense so didn’t hit the mark for me with the wet gooey texture and large size.

“went with my husband and son to eat here for the first time today. they were incredibly busy on a Saturday. if you're gonna come here it's best to make reservations this way you're not waiting at,least a half hour for a table. once seated, service was fairly quick and waiters are super nice. food was good and not expensive for the quantity you get. it's one of the few authentic polish places,left in Brooklyn. definitely recommend. we will be returning!“
