“Stopped in here when I was real hungry and driving back from the Baseball Hall of Fame... food was great... I'd be back if I didn't live on opposite sides of Dutchess County.. if I walked more then 100 ft I'd be in Putnam/Fairfield County..

But my curiosity got best of me.... this plaza looked familiar.. Then I saw Fanns on side of building . I remember my friend got his first couch from Fanns Furniture back in 1990. Funny thing couch never made it to his new apartment he moved into... he had it in back of his pickup.. and on way back to Croton. We got stuck in a tremendous thunderstorm.. cover blew off the couch.. and by the time we got to his apartment his couch was ruined... Fanns refused to take it back.... so we just thru the couch in the Dumpster at his apartment..

It was the choice for "fast & delicious meals" Now my discovery in Rosendale has presented me the delicious opportunity to learn the exceptional cuisine offered at The Garden House. everything I've eaten is mouth watering wonderful. The community of welcomeness is abundant each time you visit. Enjoy a 5 star meal.“

“We used to love this place. Until me and my wife are sitting at a table eating our pizza when a worker decides to clean the rugs an hour before closing. He shook the rug in the air next to our table got dirt and dust all over us and our food never going back.“

“I could scream this place is so good. Went on a totally random whim looking for something nearby and holy hell this place is incredible in every way and if I lived anywhere nearby I would basically move in.

The vibes are amazing - such highly curated art and seating from intimate booths to living room sofas and chairs. There’s tons of varied seating up front and then more tables and a wraparound bar in the back. It feels like a cozy 70s basement bar in Greenpoint.

Then there’s the food, omg. We tried the deviled eggs, fried chicken, brisket nachos, fries, and kale salad. All were 10/10. And cocktails were also delish.

Fave new place and will seek it out at all costs any time I’m upstate.“

“My wife Donna and I just enjoyed a fabulous Valentines Day dinner at Downtown Cafe. We have enjoyed Graziano's culinary artistry for 30 years now, (since the days of Mary Ps), and he just keeps getting better. My wife had the shortribs, and I had the sushi grade tuna with mushrooms and we enjoyed every bite. The service and atmosphere are the best. I would highly recommend the Downtown Cafe for a delicious, relaxing meal and great hometown atmosphere.“

“What a treasure in uptown Kingston! It was a last minute decision to find a good salad last night. Well, we hit gold! The salads were unique and delicious! The presentation was beautiful. “Hokkaido is my favorite sushi restaurant as well as my husbands. Hokkaido has the freshest ingredients and the most extraordinary crafted sushi rolls! I have introduced family and friends to this restaurant that had never enjoyed sushi however they now ask for a sushi night every couple weeks. I don’t drink alcohol but hubby thought their craft beers are top-notch, with Hurricane Kitty and Mother's Milk being my favorites. They also have live music events that make the place even more fun. “First thing I noticed was the beautiful engraved door. Very friendly atmosphere. We were offered drinks while waiting to be seated for dinner. I had a coconut margarita which was amazing! I normally don’t drink margaritas. The guacamole was so fresh! Delicious! My husband and daughter loved the calamari! My husband got the Casa Villa Seafood, he was in heaven! The portions were large we left with two bags of food. The staff from start to finish were really impeccable! 10 out of 10. We will be returning!“

“I used to look forward to eating there. But the last two times I had the worst servers. One never came back to check after she dropped off my food. I had wanted a soda refill and another napkin, had to find her to get my check. Last night I came in and was told the kitchen was about to close so I needed to hurry up (I just sat down at about 9:25 pm). I ordered right away. An ice water and a coke and a meatball parm sub. I was lucky to get my soda with her attitude. No ice water was brought or acknowledged at all. I took a few bites of my food and she asked if I wanted a box. I was really irritated. If they told me to go only I would have been fine. But the way I was handled made me angry. I ate quickly and left. If I choose to get something again , it will be to go. Honestly, Caitlyn is the best server there. She is five stars. The others are not worth a dime.“

“I don't usually write reviews but I was so impressed by this restaurant that I felt obliged to let other people know what they were missing. From our cocktails to dessert everything was top notch ... fresh, delicious, and presented beautifully. The margaritas, both Frozen and straight up we're a perfect balance of lime and sweetness with a choice of different salted, sweet or spicy rim flavors. You can also get a flight of three different flavored margaritas including coconut, raspberry, and mango. All were delightful but coconut was the favorite. Our main course of fish tacos and portbella/spinach enchilada was fresh, colorful and delicious served with rice and beans. There are plenty of vegetarian options. The portions are plentiful and the prices are very reasonable. And I can't say enough about the friendly service and staff.... all super friendly and cheery....even the owner Guadalupe came to stop at our table and welcome us to her restaurant with a free dessert of creamy, light, melt in your mouth Key lime pie....save room....YUM! They even welcomed my dog, Goldilocks. What a wonderful find! I will definitely go back there again as often as I can. I had such a lovely evening and even had a conversation with the friendly people at the next table who were regulars. I left with a full belly, a smile on my face and a hug from Guadalupe.“
