My husband thought the Philly steak egg rolls were the best. The Manager ( or owner, not sure which) stopped by our table at the request of our waitress. I thought that was really nice. “The food was great. Parking was plentiful. However, the service was the best I've ever experienced of any establishment in this area. Our food was finished real fast and the person who served my friend and I was so easygoing and professional. Another friendly woman came along quite regularly just to offer coffee refills. It doesn't seem like much, but little things matter. The people who run BHC seem to understand that and it was such a pleasure to visit and spend money there.“

The chicken portofino was three portions stacked with chicken, mushrooms, red peppers, cheese and prosciutto! (took 2 portions home) We were so full that our waitress kindly offered to package our bread pudding to go, three separate containers one for the pudding, one for the sauce and another for the fresh whipped cream. “A family member ordered delivery for us from here. We can't wait to visit in person. \nComfort Burger was awesome as were the chili cheese fries . Order included a Lucy salad with grill chicken. Greens were fresh, as were the sliced apples. We also had what has to be the best grilled cheese sandwich i have ever had. Loaded with a blend of 4 cheeses and caramelized onions. Bread was grilled to perfection. The order also included a fried chicken sandwich which had a huge fried chicken breast. Finally, the side order of chili didn't look that great but tasted fantastic\n I would also like to add that according to Google AI they offer gluten free bread and most items can be made gluten free.“

“We were there on June 4th Unbeknownst to us it was the start of Belmont week in Saratoga. The city was mobbed with people great to see. But not great on walk in dining. We were told it would be an hour wait because of all the reservations they had. This was not part of our plan of course. We then spotted an outdoor table in the shade. We grabbed it and the rest is history. We were greeted by Eli our server who by the way is incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to craft beer. He managed to recommend beers for all three of us that were delicious. Outstanding job Eli. We shared a spicy little pizza and a charcuterie board and both were awesome. What a great experience from start to finish. great beer and food spells a good time and we will be back for more in the future“

“Always friendly service, great options on the menu (they make custom changes), happy hour specials, and they have a great event schedule! Don’t forget to come in for your birthday- wings or clams or n the house!!! When we go for a birthday celebration we always get deer off the menu and get drink specials as well!!! I would suggest the Eggplant stack but ask for the Lisa Special- pesto instead of marinara!!! It’s absolutely to die for!!!“

Great location on the Mohawk river, nice green space across the street. Inside was what I'd describe as a joint, in the best sense.

Interesting decor, lively and popular at times. We were seated and then came the popcorn bowl and I'm thinking I don't want popcorn yet we ate it down anyway 😂

The steamed clams are definitely worth an order. The fish and chips was perfectly cooked. Not heavily breaded, not greasy, just perfectly cooked. Tender and delicious fish with food fries. The coleslaw had a sweetness to it from the pineapple, trust me it was good. My wife enjoyed the fish tacos.

Staff were friendly and service was good. We ate after the early dinner rush but finished before the party crowd got there.

On the day of the party, the staff was friendly, attentive, and always available to help with anything we needed. The food was excellent, the service was outstanding, and everything ran smoothly from beginning to end.

“I will never eat here again I ordered their afternoon tea. A plain salad plate which consisted of greens two slices of cucumber and shredded carrots, a cup of soup and I wanted a scone. They were out of scones so I reluctantly agreed to a piece of cake. When I saw they charged me 29 I spoke to the manger explaning my complaint. She refused to acknowledge that the meal was overpriced for what I had. The waitress never stated there was an upcharge. Had I gotten a sandwich I would feel different but for what I got the price was waaay out of proportion. Never never never eating here again.“

“I have read past reviews about horrible service and do not agree. The service is a little on the slow side however you are there for an entire afternoon so it was never a problem. Also our hostess, waitress and all the support help were all delightful and a pleasure to converse and joke with. I have also seen complaints about pricing. Well you are at the track and it is expensive. There are picnic areas out back with free tables that you can bring your own food and beverages and not many sporting or entertainment venues allow that. Also a $20 cheese platter had plenty on it and the Barrata salad was delicious. I was not impressed with the chicken tenders and fries but she enjoyed them. Beers and drinks were a little pricey but no more than you would pay at a pro sporting event or concert and the drinks were made well. You throw in the atmosphere of being at the greatest horse racing track in the world and it makes for a very pleasurable afternoon. Saratoga Race Track has one of the most professional and courteous staff I have experienced. I would recommend The Porch to anyone. It is worth a few extra bucks for the exciting atmosphere and view and I already mentioned the wonderful staff.“
