“We were celebrating a birthday with a group of six and the food was absolutely delicious! My personal favorites were the Soy Butter Bigoli, Mochi Bombolocini, Scallop, Rigatoni, and the Apple Pie. Most of the food was amazing. The service was fantastic – everyone was so attentive, helpful, and friendly. The atmosphere is super relaxed. I really loved the Umami in the Kenmare cocktail.“

“Holy smokes, I don’t think I’ve ever been to a restaurant where everything was so good! Genuinely shocked and just filled with happiness at every bite. Me and my partner got the fresh calamari, Thai spicy wings and beef stir fry noodles and also some oysters and gawd dam they were all good!!!!
This was my first time trying oysters and the flavor of everything just left me baffled. Usually I don’t think a spot is truly a 10/10 but this was above and beyond, super friendly and got free ice cream! Definitely will be coming back and if you read this far on my review then you should already know that you’re going to be coming here. I highly recommend everything here.“

Only with the Falsa advertisement of romantic music this Sunday at 7:30 my reservation was for 645 dinner for live music at 7:30 which one person showed up with the equipment. It was 9:30 PM and still waiting for the music to start on a Sunday night. Finally got up to leave but went up to the musician and told him that it’s was a lack of respect that, even though they were not many people there they still advertised that they were going to play while they were sitting around on the lounge area, not respecting that there were a few people there waiting for them to play as they were told that was starting at 7:30 Very disrespectful from their part so don’t go on Sunday When they say they have live music at 7:30, which is not gonna happen if it’s not a full place, so Forget a romantic evening on a Sunfay evening with this band oh they also said the singer has not arrived it was 9:45 when we left and they close at 11pm

“The food here was excellent. I got the Pad Thai and it was one of the best I've ever had. Their appetizers are all very good. I'd highly recommend going here on a date or family dinner. Menu is a little pricy but worth it.“

“Literally one the tastiest places I’ve been in NYC and I’ve been plenty of times and have had a lot of food. The potion size was amazing and the flavors were on point. I still think of the rice to this day! Most certainly a must try.“

The staff helped us cook the chicken, distributed the soup to everyone, and even helped us pick chicken out when it’s in the best texture. The ingredients are also high quality. Highly recommend!“

“There is absolutely no monkey-ing around at Monkey King. From the moment you grasp the handle of the entry door, there is no way you won’t leave transformed. While being greeted by the oh so kind hostess, you are given a moment to truly embrace the aura of the space. Your eyes first gravitates to the immersive semi sunken bar surrounded by blissful golden barstools illuminated by soft light. As the hostess carefully walks you to your seat, you begin to feel the opulence of the decor melting away the stress of your day.
The journey truly begins once you scan the restaurant menu. There you will find an array of beautifully thought out cocktails, wines, and dishes that truly awakens one’s curiosity.
To begin our journey, my cousin and I thoroughly enjoyed the Char Siu and Scallion Pancakes to wet our palettes. Hannah, our server, patiently guided us through the cocktail options making superb recommendations. Our first round of cocktails included the Serpent’s Tale and the Immortal Peach. We then drooled over the Cumin Lamb Ribs and Roasted Duck- Fat Fried Rice. All dishes bringing us to euphoria. To close out, we ordered another round of cocktails that included the Heartbeet and Pandan Express. The cocktails were so incredible that I literally got out my seat and walked to our bartender, Thieanna, to give her applause.
Which, by the way she accepted with such humility. The craftsmanship of those cocktails surely deserves a spot on the 50 Best Bars in the World. And as someone who has been to five bars on the list within the last four months, the compliment comes with ease because they definitely belong on that list.
I want to express my gratitude to Thieanna, Hannah, Thom, De Cory, and Nana for such a superb dining experience. Little did they know that the warm service along with the outstanding meal helped me to kick the depression that was knocking at my door that day. So thanks Monkey King for a memorable journey. I will definitely see you again soon!“

They are so kind and make a huge effort to entertain our toddler and make sure that he has a great time. Highly recommend getting the Bento box dinner as well as the sake jelly shots.“

Place is really spacious and at 2PM was empty - just one other table. Service was friendly - but the kitchen took longer than expected. Still - hands down - the best momo I’ve had in a very long time.

“I always had a delicious lunch special dining experience at this Thai restaurant! Not only their lunch special is affordable, the portion was generous and their service was prompt. The chicken green curry was rich and aromatic, perfectly balanced with just the right amount of spice. The pad Thai had a wonderful mix of sweet, tangy, and savory flavors, while the beef with basil sauce was incredibly fragrant and satisfying. The restaurant itself was beautifully decorated with a charming, flowery decor that created a warm atmosphere.“

“I got take out - Chicken with broccoli and oyster sauce with Hakka noodles from their express lunch menu. It came with momos, chicken satay, soup and salad. Everything was extremly flavorful and fresh, the vegetables in the noodles and salad were fresh and crisp; the salad dressing was a perfect balance of sweet, sour and spicy. Simply excellent. I found a new favorite place for Indo-Chinese food.“

“Flight got cancelled last night and I was in need of Asian food. I had the ramen. The soup was comforting. The bamboo shoots were delicious. The noodles were a little undercooked to my liking, and the eggs were not marinated but well cooked. The seating area was comfortable and bright. Service was good.“

“A fully vegan Korean restaurant situated right in the heart of Manhattan?! My west coast heart is pounding in jealousy and longing to return once again. It's often very hard to find restaurants that serve fully vegan Korean food so the fact that this exists is truly special. A lot of items will be vegetarian at best so to be able to have an extensive menu to order from is a treat. My friends and I came here for lunch and were seated fairly quickly in their hip restaurant. I ordered a couple of things: - Combination Pancakes consisting of sweet corn cilantro, scallion & spicy kimchi offerings. This was their take on traditional Korean jeon and I didn't realize they'd bring out so many small pieces for the table. My favorite was definitely the sweet corn cilantro. - Crispy Korean Chili Tofu Lunch Special, which included a soup and salad of the day as well as two additional banchan (including a pancake!) The tofu was fried to sweet perfection and the chili sauce was top notch. There ended up being more than enough food just from this alone. I hope this spot sticks around because I'll certainly be coming back to fill my Korean cravings without needing to play around with the menu at other restaurants. “Among my fave spots around. The atmosphere is electric and they play every game! Enjoy their all-day happy hour, when you can receive five shots for $25 to $40 (depending on your poison of choice). The food is more typical of a pub, but it's great for a quick bite and priced friendly! Highly recommended their bulgogi quesadilla. Couldn’t gate-keep any longer!!“

“Came here for lunch with two friends. We all enjoyed ourselves and the food was very good. The only thing I would ask is that there should be a vegetarian bento box option. It was mildly annoying that I couldn't get any substitutes because I really do enjoy bento boxes.  However, there were other vegetarian options so all was not lost!“
