“Celebrated my husband's birthday at George White Restaurant on a Sunday evening. Great menu with lots of choices for every taste. I chose Steak Au Poivre from the Prix Fixe, husband and daughter had Chicken Cordon Bleu and Chicken Cacciatore. Everything was excellent and our server, Cathy, was fantastic.“

“Went in as a party of 3 on a weekend. We lucked out and got free parking a few blocks away. In the morning this place is a small Cafe, but in the eve it is a bar with smallish menu. We all got cocktails and appetizers. Cocktails are $18 and are very strong. The hummus platter was $22 and we enjoyed the olive one a lot (no chickpeas?) The pulled pork sliders were OK and I enjoyed the wings. Tables are small and decor is modern.“

“From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, this restaurant was amazing. Monroe’s offers a cozy feel, with amazing staff and welcoming smiles. We started out with drinks and appetizers. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped guide us to delicious appetizer choices. I had the eggplant rollatini special and my dad had the clams orreganata. I order items with vodka sauce quite frequently and this was the best I have ever had. It was smooth and creamy with amazing flavor! The homemade focaccias bread was delicious and airy, the perfect piece of bread to soak up the remainder of the sauces from our appetizers (because it was too good to leave a single drop). For dinner I ordered the skirt steak, medium rare. The marinade was sensational, and the skirt steak cut like butter! It was cooked to perfection. Even the vegetables and potatoes it came with were delicious. My dad ordered the penne Ala vodka and added chicken cutlet to the dish. He couldn’t stop raving about it. We were so full after our appetizers and main entrees, but the dessert menu was too tempting. We shared a slice of the raspberry cheesecake and oh my goodness, if you like cheesecake, order this! They make it in house and it was the perfect sweet treat to end our dining experience. I paired it with a cappuccino. Monroe’s doesn’t disappoint, even to the last detail. My cappuccino had a cute cinnamon heart on top. Overall, Monroe’s was truly a delightful and pleasant experience. We will definitely be returning and recommending to all of our friends and family!“

“I've dined here at least 20 times and have always had a great experience. Our server Deneen was outstanding. So sweet and professional and took great care of us during our dinner. She should be commended. Two of us got the chicken breast dinner and the other two got the pork chop. Everything was delicious as usual. Our wine was great as were the little desserts they always serve. Seasons 52 has become a favorite which is why we always come back!“

“My wife and I are pizza fanatics specifically Neapolitan style. A hybrid gas, wood fire grill that makes a near perfect pie. We split a Margherita and Mushroom pie.

The Cesar salad was great, a touch of lemon zest and crispy lettuce.

The meatballs were high quality and this is coming from a self proclaimed meatball master.

“We moved off Long Island over 8 years ago and always loved la Parma when we lived here even though it was an hour drive for us to enjoy the amazing food. This time when we came up to visit for Christmas we knew we had to get there for a great dinner. I can easily say it still is one of the best places to get amazing Italian food around. The Chicken Napoli was phenomenal and there is nothing like their penne à la vodka! The drinks were great and service was top notch. We also happened to go the day after Christmas when we got lots of snow and the car valet even brushed off our car! We were so happy to not feel rushed because we were there with great friends and just really enjoying ourselves! We can’t wait to come back and visit from Georgia to have their food again!“

“Been going to Mill Creek Tavern frequently over the last 10 years and was never disappointed. They have a great menu with numerous choices and also have daily specials. The service is above expectations. Always pleasant and efficient. The service staff stops by frequently to remove dishes and anything else on the table that you are done with. “simply, just for the fact that you can order the famous Di Fara pizza from Brooklyn at this location, makes this certainly one of the best hidden gems in the neighborhood.
They also offer lots of different dishes from several different restaurants, making this a very interesting place to go for a meal as different. People can order different dishes from different restaurants.“

“We love to come to Capital Grille for the tuna. The chef always makes it to perfection. We enjoyed the Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Grigot so much that we had a second round...perfect for a hot June evening! For the first time we had the greens salad but with the lime (or lemon?) vinaigrette dressing. For some reason that dressing was too spicy for both of our tastes, but we had already poured it on the salad so we ate it. Next time we will know to order a different dressing. “We dined at the Majors Restaurant in East Meadow. Dinner was delicious. I have no complaints about that. Here is my issue. Little, but it’s the principle. My husband ordered a cup of coffee after our $158 Dinner. The coffee came and when he put milk in it, I noticed it was really dark. I tasted it. WOW it was burnt, old & muddy. I called the waiter over and asked for a new brewed cup of coffee. He came back with a cup from the SAME pot. Normally I would of just moved on & left it. But when the bill came we were charged $3.50. For 1 cup of burnt coffee? Sorry it was the principle. If you are going to charge your clients $3.50 for a cup of coffee, invest in a Keurig where every cup is fresh. You make a great margin per cup?“

“I was here a few weeks ago and was served by Natalia. The food was excellent, the usual standard when you get Ruth’s Chris. It’s a good meal, comfy environment and not too crowded. This place was renovated not too long ago, so the interior is all brand new. My only complaint was I had ordered a bottle of wine, and my server did not bring an ice bucket, and did not refill any of our glasses-only the initial pour from opening the bottle. Aside from that, I was happy with my visit and will return. I used to be a regular here before the renovation.“
