“My wife and I were there for a political function combo meeting and Christmas luncheon. This establishment is super clean, bright, and cozy. The food and wine were delicious. I had chicken parm. Was fantastic. Was batted down thin and breaded and seasoned to perfection. VERY tender, I only had to use my folk to cut. The marinara was fresh semi chunky lite delicious and perfect. The fresh bread came in handy to clean up my plate. My wife has a fresh pasta marinara dish and NO complaints there. The waiter and waitress were professional, non obtrusive, thoughtful and caring about their service to us. Thank you iL Portico for having us and making us feel welcomed! Merry Christmas! Some of my favorites are the Caprese Salad Frito Misto Tartufo pizza. Yesterday,we went for cocktails and shared a Frito Misto.As usual , they were excellent. It was early but the place was pretty full. The bartender was very professional and efficient. Overall very good experience.“

“I had a great night at the oak house. From the second I sat at the bar, Baze set a great impression. Professional, experienced and completely dialed in. He was attentive without being intrusive as it was my first time there and I was on a date. He knew exactly how to read the room. That kind of service makes a difference. I ordered the Pears and Lychee cocktail and it was excellent and made with precision. On Baze’s recommendation, I went with the peach glazed wings and the short rib. Both delivered. The wings had real flavor with a good caramelized finish, and the short rib was very good and cooked perfect. What stood out most was the consistency in service. Baze stayed on top of everything and made sure the night ran smoothly. It’s rare to find a spot that gets both the food and the hospitality right. He definitely helped make it a strong date night. I’ll definitely be back.“

“Place is a hidden treasure. Food is outstanding! The waiters were very welcoming, funny and very attentive without rushing us before we could ask for anything they were right there. The owner is super sweet with a beautiful personality. He makes you feel welcomed from the moment you walk in. The food was phenomenal every dish was seasoned perfectly and portions were plentiful. The prices very reasonable for the service and food quality they provide. This is so far our favorite Italian cuisine restaurant I'm so glad we live close by we will be back. “We went to Capital Grille for the first time and had an amazing meal. Our server J was on top of everything and did a wonderful job and took very good care of us as well as many other tables. We tried an array of foods and there was not 1 item that wasnt absolutely delicious. Everything was cooled perfectly. If you have ever questioned if you should try this place here is your sign to stop questioning and go enjoy one of best meals you will ever have! The process was easy by calling in to see if they have it in stock and to order it. They packaged it nicely and had no problem picking it up a month after the purchase. “Great find in Scarsdale! Cutest little spot that transports you to a restaurant in the Mediterranean/Italy. Small, well appointed trattoria style restaurant. Warm, friendly service. Great natural light.

This is the place for those perfect aperol spritzies & fresh food. Fresh bread & imported olive oil served to start. We then ordered the Mediterranea Salad which was so refreshing: tomatoes, red peppers, cucumber, red onion, feta & light lemon dressing - great start. Margherita pizza & the Chicken Parm were both outstanding. Pizza is the perfect size, light but crispy with san marzano tomatoes, mozzarella fior di latte, evoo & basil. The Chicken Parm is understated, but hits all the marks - chicken pounded thin, crispy breading, tangy sauce & fresh parm.

Same owner as Cafe Alaia, which we're trying next, but this spot is already heavy in our rotation from now on.

“NYC steakhouse experience without the drive. Ambiance is top notch. High end decor but my kids felt very comfortable here. Food was very good. Steaks cooked and seasoned perfectly. French onion soup was full bodied. Mashed was smooth. Corn was different in a good way, have to try to understand. Only criticism i can make is the rest of the meal was so good that the dessert wasn't on the same level. It was still fine. Overall excellent experience, will definitely go back.“

I asked for lemon WEDGES (you can't squeeze slices) for my water, and that's exactly what he brought. Then when the kitchen missed something I'd requested, he immediately made it right with an alternative solution, which was probably better than what I initially requested. He was attentive without hovering. I will request a table in his area next time I'm there. Also, I loved that the table was sturdy enough where I didn't feel like my drink would spill when I cut my filet. A small thing maybe, but a detail many places overlook and get wrong. And I LOVE that Ruth's Chris has an expected standard of dress & decorum for their customers. That tells you they also have standards for their servers, cooks & food. “I've been to this location a handful of times. I was waiting for a friend so I sat at the bar for about 25 minutes and was served by Scarlett. She was super friendly and made me a couple of tasty cocktails. It wasn't super busy so I was able to get serviced fast and efficiently. When my friend arrived, we migrated to the dining area to eat. I believe our servers name was Mike. A young man that I recognized from my previous times at the restaurant. He was super knowledgeable of the menu and was a pleasure to have. Overall a great experience. The only thing I felt different from the previous times I dined at the restaurant was it felt like the employees were speaking more script like, like the company told them to say xyz to the customers. Felt fake and forced. These employees are good without being told what to say.“

“Tarry Tavern for dinner: Mom had Seared maine sea scallops with local corn and leek risotto and I got the roasted Hudson valley duck breast with pecan cranberry wild rice and sunchoke purée. Unreal. Mom cleaned her plate at a restaurant for the first time in ages and mine was to die for. We shared the pumpkin pecan bread pudding for dessert.
