“We went for the first time yesterday. We had fun. My only complaint is there were way too many children. Been to a lot of breweries and this one was the worst for kids . It won’t put me off coming here again but it’s nice to go out and not be surrounded by families with kids. I understand families are allowed to go out to breweries etc . But a lot of breweries are not like this one.“

“I have mixed feelings about this place. I hate to say anything bad. We were there on a holiday weekend. They were out of the chicken liver apperltizer and ot of sauerbraten. I went there for sauerbraten. My wife's Jaeger Schnitzel had hardly any brown sauce, but it was crisp. The entre I ordered was a ham hock Schweinshaxe that I've never seen before and never will again. No sauerbraten, so I tried Schweinshaxe. It was narly and extremely salty. That's probably what it's supposed to be like.

Entrees are served without spatzle. So, after mine was served, I ordered a side of spatzle

“From the moment you walk in, it's a vibe. The throwback wallpaper to the animals on the wall help paint a picture and warm you up for a great night. The manager Stacey is friendly and knowledgeable and makes you feel like home. The Pale Ale is delicious and my favorite of the selections. The night we were there there was also music from the local band the Beer Flies - it was the icing on the cake for a great night. I look forward to returning in the future and would recommend this place to all.“

“Ran some errands in Saugerties with my wife and dog. Stopped here for some ice cream. The afternoon snack was good, service was good. They even gave me a free bowl of vanilla soft serve topped with a dog biscuit for our pup, he loved it. Service was very good and friendly.“

I met Ashley the first night and Kassie the second. Both so lovely, welcoming, patient and kind.

I would definitely give this place a try! The line was long both times into the street yet it goes fast! So if you’re driving by, don’t be discouraged! It’s worth the (very short) wait. 🥰 In my experience.

“My favorite beer in this area of New York. Absolute mandatory stop when we're in the Rhinebeck, Saugerties and Woodstock area. Great beer with a relaxed atmosphere. The bonus is that they are very community-minded. There is a "buy a pie, donate a pie" program. What makes it even more awesome is that regardless whether they receive donations or not, they donate those pies.“

I don’t drink alcohol but hubby thought their craft beers are top-notch, with Hurricane Kitty and Mother's Milk being my favorites. They also have live music events that make the place even more fun. “We recently had a wedding in the area and Hudson Valley Dessert Company was the perfect choice for our wedding cake and dessert. They provided an excellent level of service at the tasting, conducting delivery, and throughout the process. We wanted to do a unique cake and the bakers were thrilled with the opportunity to flex their creativity and skills. They worked closely with our venue to ensure the logistics of the cake would work and we completely trusted that everything would go well. Our guests were so impressed by the cake and the other desserts. We had cannolis, pecan squares, and gluten free brownies. Everything was delicious. We found that we got really great value and highly recommend them for others looking to order their wedding cake from the area.“
