Most sushi restaurants I’ve frequented over the years are inconsistent with quality and freshness—which is what got me to try Taku in the first place and I’ve never looked back! We order from here 3-4 times per month….and we love it! They also have great Asian dishes when I’m not in the mood for sushi, but the rest of my family is. Comes with Spicy or Soy Garlic, Juicy Drumsticks or wings and with some tangy sour pickled radish or sweet creamy kimchi cole slaw. You are missing out if you have not tried this!!! You want some?! Usually I would get this when I worked the Financial District or Midtown Manhattan but this was the closest to home and they did not let me down!! The #17 Schezwan Chicken on the specials menu is the best in New York, hands down. This place is a vibe and a real asset to the LB scene.“

“We moved from Port Washington to MA this May and have been unable to find a spot that offers everything that Aki does, not to mention at the same quality! They just execute everything so well. It was our go to for sushi, we loved the apps (the crispy rice and jalapeño yellowtail are fire), and loved also having options for classic Chinese food. We loved that it offered a little bit of everything. We only ever ordered takeout but the service was always top notch too. We love and miss you Aki!“

“I finally found the first restaurant of the chain. There was one on 140th Street, Northern Blvd. and the one in Manhattan. Both closed down. This restaurant has the same taste. Same food choices except for the Noodles Seafood Soup which used to have pork belly on the side. But, who's complaing? My family are not and neither am I. Worth the drive and you will not regret it. We craved for Ramen since our last Japan trip weeks ago so we had this idea to try it here. Savoring the Kinha Ramen took us back in time when we were in Japan enjoying this noodle dish. You have to try it along side a Japanese soda drink! My family had a welcoming experience which provided an atmosphere of just being ourselves to enjoy family time while enjoying palatable dishes.
