“Friendly service, good food takes time to prepare but it's so worth the wait“

“Just found my new favorite Mediterranean spot, Pita Point! I had the beef shish kebab in a pita and it was the most flavorful, freshest and juiciest kebabs I’ve had. The pita was warm, the beef was perfectly cooked, and everything tasted fresh and made from scratch.

Super homey vibe and the guy there was really nice. You can tell the food is made with real care. Also tried the baklava and it was incredible.

If you’re craving Mediterranean food, kebabs, or a really good pita sandwich, this place is 100% worth checking out. I’ll definitely be back. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu!“

“We ordered for the first time tonight from Sammy, former proprietor of JuJu’s Bagels now transformed into El Toum. We ordered 4 items and they were ready for pickup in less than 25 minutes. The Mixed Kebab platter, Kofta Burger with fries, Falafel Sandwich with extra tahini sauce, and El Toum Appetizer were refreshingly homemade, tasted delicious, and proved outstanding bangs for the buck. More than enough food for a family of four with leftovers. This is a very welcome addition to a neighborhood missing this kind of fare. I highly recommend supporting this local business. Some of the best falafel and tabouli I’ve tasted in quite some time too!“

“The chicken over rice was really good. The chicken was juicy and well-seasoned, and the rice was soft and flavorful. The white sauce and hot sauce made it even better. The service person was very kind and friendly, which made the experience even nicer. Overall, it was filling, tasty, and I would definitely get it again.“

The unexpected star of the show was the grilled octopus which was so soft and juicy… not chewy at all and lots of flavor. Maybe the best i’ve had. Friendly Egyptians. “Such a great neighborhood spot. I went there late the other night craving falafel, and even though they told me they had run out, the guy actually went downstairs to check and found some. He ended up making fresh falafel patties right there just so I could have them.
The sauces were incredible and the food was absolutely delicious. Even though we ordered takeout, the hospitality was 10/10. It’s rare to find places that go the extra mile like that. Definitely coming back.“

“Hands down one of the best spots to order from if you want authentic Palestinian falafel and cold salads and dips. I usually order the mixed cold platter with a side of kofta for delivery and my order never disappoints. They also always add extra warm pita and falafel which is an awesome bonus bc you can never have enough of their falafel! Definitely come check this place out, it’s steps off broadway train station and super worth the commute!“

“Really a great and very unique restaurant. First of all, the bread is more than great and completely different from any other bread in the United States. In the restaurant, you feel as if you are in Egypt or any other Arab country. You can have breakfast with beans, falafel, hummus, liver, and heart, just like you would eat in any popular restaurant in Egypt. For lunch, you can also eat Mandi and various delicious meats. The prices are reasonable, and the area where the restaurant is located is very lively 🌸🌸“

“My opinion is 8.3/10. Overall I did enjoy it for my first shashuka. $15 for hummus, 2 eggs and 2 pitas pockets. Overall fresh and enjoyable. “One of the best middle eastern restaurants in metro NYC. we came with a part of five and ordered up a large sample of dishes. Everything we tried was one better than the next. Super tasty humus, light, fresh and lemony. I had a stuffed chicken over rice, which was to die for. We tried the mixed grill, shawarma, Middle East platter and several salads.
Very reasonable prices. Simple brightly lit space with a lovely staff.“

We eat a LOT of halal cart food, and Abdul offers some of the best we’ve had. If you’re in the area (or flying out of JFK and have some extra time), it’s worth a small detour.“

“I visited Yummy Tummy bakery for the first time today, with five other friends of mine to support a Black-owned business during Black History Month. The owner Melissa and Kaylan made the entire experience a delight. The two of them made sure we got all of our treats in a timely manner and treated us with such care. The sweets themselves were absolutely delicious. The fruity pebble cupcake particularly was the perfect amount of sweet, moist, and airy. Delicious Yemeni food, likely the best in Queens, whether sit down, take-out, or from their street grill, coupled with the friendly service will keep me and my family coming back. “Chicken and rice is beautiful, best I’ve tried in Brooklyn. They improved a lot since I was in town a year ago. The marinated chicken is very tasty, I think they use tomato, and the chicken is very well cooked, not greasy or anything. It is a little spicy tho, but the rest of the food balances it out. Rice cooked perfect as well. I remember last year I came here the rice was dry.“

“This spot is Legit, new owners are welcoming and friendly. Celebrated a Friend’s birthday and all the staff was very attentive. They even decorated the booth with a Happy birthday sign and some flowers. They have beer buckets, cocktails, and different selection of beer . We had Chicken mofongo as appetizers, just a quick bite . The nachos were complimentary for the tables/ booth. I really enjoyed the hooka “Love”, kitchen closes at 1am . I haven’t had chicken over rice in a while due to bad experiences, so after some time I decided to give it a try and I risked it by Uber Eats with this place & omfg.. the rice is great, they added a generous amount of red & white sauce, the chicken was greatly cooked , my favorite part had to be the diced cucumbers along with the diced vegetables . The pita bread I ordered on the side was soft . I literally almost struggled eating the entire thing , I went to sleep super full. So they are definitely generous with their portions as well. I’m definitely ordering their chicken over rice again !! Sooo soo good 🤤. Please don’t change !! Btw if you’re planning to order from Uber Eats , I got the chicken over rice, pita bread and a beverage all came down to $28.49 !!“
