“Friendly service, good food takes time to prepare but it's so worth the wait“

“Just found my new favorite Mediterranean spot, Pita Point! I had the beef shish kebab in a pita and it was the most flavorful, freshest and juiciest kebabs I’ve had. The pita was warm, the beef was perfectly cooked, and everything tasted fresh and made from scratch.

Super homey vibe and the guy there was really nice. You can tell the food is made with real care. Also tried the baklava and it was incredible.

If you’re craving Mediterranean food, kebabs, or a really good pita sandwich, this place is 100% worth checking out. I’ll definitely be back. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu!“

“We ordered for the first time tonight from Sammy, former proprietor of JuJu’s Bagels now transformed into El Toum. We ordered 4 items and they were ready for pickup in less than 25 minutes. The Mixed Kebab platter, Kofta Burger with fries, Falafel Sandwich with extra tahini sauce, and El Toum Appetizer were refreshingly homemade, tasted delicious, and proved outstanding bangs for the buck. More than enough food for a family of four with leftovers. This is a very welcome addition to a neighborhood missing this kind of fare. I highly recommend supporting this local business. Some of the best falafel and tabouli I’ve tasted in quite some time too!“

“The chicken over rice was really good. The chicken was juicy and well-seasoned, and the rice was soft and flavorful. The white sauce and hot sauce made it even better. The service person was very kind and friendly, which made the experience even nicer. Overall, it was filling, tasty, and I would definitely get it again.“

“Such a great neighborhood spot. I went there late the other night craving falafel, and even though they told me they had run out, the guy actually went downstairs to check and found some. He ended up making fresh falafel patties right there just so I could have them.
The sauces were incredible and the food was absolutely delicious. Even though we ordered takeout, the hospitality was 10/10. It’s rare to find places that go the extra mile like that. Definitely coming back.“

The food is awesome. First night we got the Shrimp Ala Sabry's. Amazing. Second night we got the Seafood Combo for two!! Incredible. The prices were also so reasonable!

“Really a great and very unique restaurant. First of all, the bread is more than great and completely different from any other bread in the United States. In the restaurant, you feel as if you are in Egypt or any other Arab country. You can have breakfast with beans, falafel, hummus, liver, and heart, just like you would eat in any popular restaurant in Egypt. For lunch, you can also eat Mandi and various delicious meats. The prices are reasonable, and the area where the restaurant is located is very lively 🌸🌸“

“My opinion is 8.3/10. Overall I did enjoy it for my first shashuka. $15 for hummus, 2 eggs and 2 pitas pockets. Overall fresh and enjoyable. “Absolutely amazing food!. Best Spinach pies I've ever had.“

“One of the best middle eastern restaurants in metro NYC. we came with a part of five and ordered up a large sample of dishes. Everything we tried was one better than the next. Super tasty humus, light, fresh and lemony. I had a stuffed chicken over rice, which was to die for. We tried the mixed grill, shawarma, Middle East platter and several salads.
Very reasonable prices. Simple brightly lit space with a lovely staff.“

“Can’t say enough great things about this place! I placed a catering order for my baby shower and everyone loved the delicious food! We had chicken shawarma, falafel, basmati and yellow rice, hummus, baba ghanouj, house salad, and all the different types of pickles and sauces. The portions were generous, and the owner was very sweet and responsive throughout the entire process. I will order here again in a heartbeat!“

“Delicious, fresh chicken and lamb, perfectly seasoned and cooked, and served with a smile. Quality of the meats is above the usual cart fare, and it makes a big difference. We eat a LOT of halal cart food, and Abdul offers some of the best we’ve had. If you’re in the area (or flying out of JFK and have some extra time), it’s worth a small detour.“

I tried the Lamb Swarma (Gyro) plater. It came with a lot of items, salads, rice. Very good portion.

“The food was really good and the prices were reasonable. I like that it's ready immediately. My one complaint was that I couldnt hear the employee talking to me at all. She was very quiet and it was hard to hear through the plexiglass. Otherwise perfect.“

“I went and ordered the Fahsa with lamb and the Salta about a month ago. It comes with a nice amount of bread to eat it with too.

“I visited Yummy Tummy bakery for the first time today, with five other friends of mine to support a Black-owned business during Black History Month. The owner Melissa and Kaylan made the entire experience a delight. The two of them made sure we got all of our treats in a timely manner and treated us with such care. The sweets themselves were absolutely delicious. The fruity pebble cupcake particularly was the perfect amount of sweet, moist, and airy. “I came here with my boyfriend late on a cold night. Immediately we were welcomed by the owner with a sample of two soups lentil and harira. Harira soup was amazing, a flavor bomb! We picked Lamb in a pita and Middle Eastern meat combo. The meat was so fresh, so juicy so perfectly seasoned we couldn't get enough. All the veggies that were served with it were so fresh, the baba ghanoush, Tahini, hummus and eggplant in tomato sauce were just making the platter so diverse you want to keep coming back for more.
Samosas were so flaky, little spicy but in the best way!
Baklava was so crunchy! Ive never had this fresh and crunchy of a baklava before.
Im coming back for more!

I also love how calm this place is; it’s cute without being pretentious and this one of the very places I can sit and catch up with friends without having to scream at each other.

“This spot is Legit, new owners are welcoming and friendly. Celebrated a Friend’s birthday and all the staff was very attentive. They even decorated the booth with a Happy birthday sign and some flowers. They have beer buckets, cocktails, and different selection of beer . We had Chicken mofongo as appetizers, just a quick bite . The nachos were complimentary for the tables/ booth. I really enjoyed the hooka “Love”, kitchen closes at 1am . Also, they have a Dj every night , will definitely come back !!“
