“Our favorite tapas place. This evening we had the short rib bruschetta, the meat melts in your mouth. The truffle fries are amazing as always. The funghi pizza was delicious! Our server Eddie was attentive without being overbearing. A+ as always.“

“The hostess tried to seat us in the empty private room in the back without offering a choice for the main dining area and we were forced object to this and were then seated on the floor. Based on the fact that both of our entre’s , filet, trout, were perfectly cooked and presented and delightful, a four star minimum is justified. Our side of brussels was undercooked and hard as rocks. The cocktails were perfectly done. No cheese cake after a steak? No coffee beans in the sambuca? The venue turned out to be a cut below. The pricing was fair in my opinion so on balance, an average dining experience overall. There are better options for sure.“

“Went with my fiance before dinner for some drinks and lite bites. Loved the oysters which came with their house made cocktail sauce and vinaigrette - these were $34 for a dozen so not cheap. Recommend sticking to on menu drinks vs create your own. Cindy was great and so accommodating.“

“From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, this restaurant was amazing. Monroe’s offers a cozy feel, with amazing staff and welcoming smiles. We started out with drinks and appetizers. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped guide us to delicious appetizer choices. I had the eggplant rollatini special and my dad had the clams orreganata. I order items with vodka sauce quite frequently and this was the best I have ever had. It was smooth and creamy with amazing flavor! The homemade focaccias bread was delicious and airy, the perfect piece of bread to soak up the remainder of the sauces from our appetizers (because it was too good to leave a single drop). For dinner I ordered the skirt steak, medium rare. The marinade was sensational, and the skirt steak cut like butter! It was cooked to perfection. Even the vegetables and potatoes it came with were delicious. My dad ordered the penne Ala vodka and added chicken cutlet to the dish. He couldn’t stop raving about it. We were so full after our appetizers and main entrees, but the dessert menu was too tempting. We shared a slice of the raspberry cheesecake and oh my goodness, if you like cheesecake, order this! They make it in house and it was the perfect sweet treat to end our dining experience. I paired it with a cappuccino. Monroe’s doesn’t disappoint, even to the last detail. My cappuccino had a cute cinnamon heart on top. Overall, Monroe’s was truly a delightful and pleasant experience. We will definitely be returning and recommending to all of our friends and family!“

“Celebrated my husband's birthday at George White Restaurant on a Sunday evening. Great menu with lots of choices for every taste. I chose Steak Au Poivre from the Prix Fixe, husband and daughter had Chicken Cordon Bleu and Chicken Cacciatore. Everything was excellent and our server, Cathy, was fantastic.“

We had a wonderful evening celebrating two birthdays with a group of eight, and everything about the experience was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and professional. The entire staff went above and beyond to make our celebration feel special.

The food was excellent as well. Every dish was delicious, beautifully prepared, and enjoyed by everyone at the table. What really stood out was that we never felt rushed. We were able to relax, enjoy our meal, and spend quality time together, which made the evening even more memorable.

Everyone involved played a part in making our special celebration a truly wonderful experience. It was the perfect place to celebrate with family and friends, and we left already looking forward to our next visit.

“Waitress was nice but not asattentive as we've come to expect at Capital Grilles, but it was crowded and peak time. After we ordered, she directed all of her attention to my hudband, and not me, even when i spoke to her she didn't seem to look at me. The kitchen made an obvious, visible mistake on my order and it was brought to our table anyway. She did not come to check with us after delivery and it took us 10-15 minutes to get her attention. She recognized the problem right away and the kitchen had it fixed quickly but my husband was pretty far into his meal by the time mine came back (I told him to eat because it would be cold if he waited.) Pretty ]poot service for a $48 chicken breast.“

Danny was absolutely fantastic to work with—he was incredibly helpful, communicative, kind, and accommodating throughout the entire planning process. He made everything feel easy and stress-free, which meant so much to us during such a busy time.
The waitstaff was also wonderful—friendly, attentive, and welcoming—and the food was absolutely amazing. Our guests had a great time, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate such a special occasion and kick off our wedding weekend.

“I enjoyed a Friday night dinner there. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bartenders were very attentive.
The dining room is small,outdoor seating and seating at the bar is available.

They are able to open the large windows in the front of the restaurant and gives an all around al fresco dining experience. It was a very warm day, and I would have preferred air conditioning but it was still nice.

I didn't have a reservation, but was able to sit at the bar. Which was very nice.

They have a good drink menu with nice cocktails and a good selection of wines and beers. I went with a Peroni.

The menu is small but the is a great selection. The roasted chicken wings were delicious, the Uncle Frank's Pizza and the Meatball Pizza were excellent!

I will go back to Uncle Franks but will remember to make a reservation.“

“I can’t say enough amazing things about the whole team at Plado. I recently had my baby shower at their Glen Cove location and it was the absolute best decision. To start the whole experience planning the shower with the owners was seamless and they were very responsive. The entire staff on the day of my event were so helpful with setting up, beyond friendly and hospitable to my family and guests - they really made the experience over the top perfect (especially Dominica who was the sweetest!). “We dined at the Majors Restaurant in East Meadow. Dinner was delicious. I have no complaints about that. Here is my issue. Little, but it’s the principle. My husband ordered a cup of coffee after our $158 Dinner. The coffee came and when he put milk in it, I noticed it was really dark. I tasted it. WOW it was burnt, old & muddy. I called the waiter over and asked for a new brewed cup of coffee. He came back with a cup from the SAME pot. Normally I would of just moved on & left it. But when the bill came we were charged $3.50. For 1 cup of burnt coffee? Sorry it was the principle. If you are going to charge your clients $3.50 for a cup of coffee, invest in a Keurig where every cup is fresh. You make a great margin per cup?“

“Great local food. Comfortable atmosphere. I had the grilled lamb chops with French fries and spinach. DO NOT ORDER THE SPINACH. In my opinion, they are horrible. They taste like thawed out old spinach that is not edible. The spinach is chewy and unpleasant. The lamb chops are delicious and the fries were made to perfection. The service was good and the price was right.“
