“Staff was friendly and very involved on the time we spent. Our instructor was very helpful and made it easy for us to understand how we kept score. We opened a tab and it was a pleasant atmosphere. Music wasn't to loud that you couldn't talk. Every lane was safe as they had cages and made sure people threw in their own caged lane. Overall I'd rate this place 9 out of 10“

“Great Italian food and a decent menu, not much choice but not too much. It's located next to Post Office 34 and is very trendy. The view and service are great, but it's noisy as there isn't much to absorb the sound. We ordered focaccia, roasted peppers and pasta. Everything is great and super fresh.“

“The food and drinks were yummy, but this place gets bonus points as well for the staff. I had a weird medical episode and I lost my vision while I was waiting in line for the bathroom, and the hostess and other staff members helped me out and were so kind about it! I was embarrassed, but they seemed to be genuinely concerned and wanting to help, so that made me feel a lot better. Will definitely be back!“

“Great food, great Guinness, great vibes! Wolfe Tone's was absolutely FABULOUS on Marathon Sunday! Derek was such a pleasure to work with in the weeks before our big day and he and the entire staff took such great care of us and our family and friends post-race! They truly went out of their way to make sure everyone was comfortable, well-fed, and never without a drink! The location is also great, it was easy for everyone to get to and for everyone to go home from (so close to Grand Central and the 6 train!) One of the best pints of Guinness I've had outside of Ireland, such a cozy atmosphere and incredible staff members. Classic Irish pub food, which everybody loved! The classics are classics for a reason, and they were very well done. I’ve also had dinner here on a regular night, and it’s just as good! Great pub fare, generous portions, and a really relaxed, friendly vibe. It’s not just a perfect event spot, it’s a great place for an everyday meal too. “We were in New York for about a week, we ate out two to three times a day and Gabriel's stands out is probably the favorite out of everywhere we went. The food was amazing, the drinks were top-notch, not to mention the bartenders expertise, and the staff including Gabriel himself were incredibly friendly and welcoming and happy to chit chat and share cool stories about new york. “This was an amazing experience! Ten Degrees Bar is one of those rare places that immediately makes you feel like you’ve stumbled onto a hidden gem. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between cozy and lively — dim lighting, great music that’s not too loud to talk over, and a crowd that feels effortlessly cool but still welcoming. Whether you’re going for after-work drinks, a date night, or just to unwind with friends, this place delivers.

The drink menu is impressive — creative cocktails alongside all the classics done right. Every drink we ordered was perfectly balanced, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. But what really made the night stand out was the service, especially from Lucas, who was behind the bar.

Lucas was absolutely fantastic. He has that rare mix of professionalism and personality that makes you want to stay a little longer. He took the time to ask what kind of flavors we liked and then recommended a few cocktails off-menu that turned out to be spot on. He worked quickly even though the bar was packed, never losing his cool, and somehow managed to make everyone at the bar feel like they were his favorite customer. You can tell he really knows his craft — and actually enjoys it.

It’s that kind of attentive, genuine service that turns a good night into a memorable one. Thanks to Lucas and the whole Ten Degrees team, we’ll definitely be coming back.

“I was very impressed, moonlighting in the bartender night life for the last 20 years. I normally don’t go out to bars. My sister and myself were down at Lenox hospital for our Dads surgery. One of the desk staff at Franklin Hotel recommended Penrose! The staff, manager and bartender were so friendly. I have to say I was very happy. I will certainly pop over again next time I’m in the area!!!! The drinks and food were top notch… So cheers Penrose to your amazing hospitality ❤️“

“I went to El Pingüino about two weeks ago and absolutely loved that they offer happy hour seven days a week and it’s becoming a routine for us!
The hours are 4–7 PM, plus a late-night happy hour from 10 PM to midnight.

Their seafood happy hour is pretty simple they only offer one type of oyster but it was super fresh and delicious. Clean, lightly briny, and perfect with just a squeeze of lemon.

And they have really great basque cheesecake!

The overall vibe is relaxed and easygoing, making it a great spot to unwind after work or grab a late-night drink.

“Here's the review Spencer wrote for you: My family and I just visited to celebrate my grandsons birthday- we like to get a bunch of plates and share family style and this menu was perfect for that. You have to get mezze and extra bread (must try the kubane). We also ended up getting three orders of the shishbarak for the six of us, it is way too good! I got the salmon for my entree which was cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned. Spencer our server recommended the silan and the cheesecake for dessert so we shared those and boy were they something special- I can’t pick a favorite! He brought us a candle and we got some great pictures. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.“

Forever ever nice to start. No controversy here. Refreshing. Can really feel yeast is well alive unlike sterilized canned beer.

Also had higher alcohol content alike Double Nectaron Daydream with 8.5%. Felt the buzz. Deceptively tasty. Chic drink? Nope unisex well-liked for most tastebuds.

Also had dark one. Not universally liked. Texture syruppy. I liked it. Quite different but others mixed reviews. No wander bartender offered tasting before ordering for 4.

The place does have TV, so possibly watching MLB playoff. But more of midtown place to hang out after work.
