“We celebrated my mother’s 60th birthday surprise dinner with 50 guests and it was a very lovely experience. Niurka upon meeting her was very sweet charismatic and ensured to answer all of our questions before booking the space. We kept in communication to make sure everything was right before the night of the dinner. The night of the dinner she made sure everything was set up before our arrival! Every person working that night was professional, friendly, attentive and efficient. The food was amazing as well. This was my first time here, and I will definitely return for another dinner night!“

“The service is very fast, I got two large pizzas in under 15minutes. Their food is amazing! So much variety. While some pizza shops also offer other foods, you can tell by the quality they truly only specialize in pizza. However, Sal’s food is good all around!
Today I ordered 6piece wings with fries, a calzone, a beef patty, and two Pepsi’s for the price of $28. Pretty good compared to other places.“
“The lamb over rice is the best! And the chicken over rice is a close second! I usually get white+BBQ sauce over lamb or chicken. Very generous with the amount of sauce & salad is good but I usually opt out on it. It's only $5!! Only cash is accepted tho but it's literally in front of a bank so ?. Closes at 3 am, open pretty late so that's always convenient. He's a very hard worker and extremely nice+sweet! Definitely best halal in tbe neighborhood/area. “Great Italian food and a decent menu, not much choice but not too much. It's located next to Post Office 34 and is very trendy. The view and service are great, but it's noisy as there isn't much to absorb the sound. We ordered focaccia, roasted peppers and pasta. Everything is great and super fresh.“

Having dined at some of the finest restaurants around the world, we find that this spot rivals, and in many cases surpasses, all others. Our most recent visit was a mid-morning couple’s dining stop—our answer to a calling to bring pure health and exquisite taste into our bodies and souls. abcV was the perfect answer. We indulged in the unique “Pollen” smoothie (pollen, jungle peanut butter, dates, banana, almond milk, Himalayan salt). I can’t emphasize enough how delicious this chilled and creamy culinary delight was! Served elegantly in a cabernet-style wine glass, I could immediately feel my cells rejuvenate with this healthy creation. The warm vegan croissant was also lovely, with just the right amount of flakiness, perfectly paired with homemade apple butter—yum! Another ‘must-have’ highlight was abcV’s take on Avocado Toast, enhanced with Virgin Coconut & Argan Oils, Crunchy Seeds, Cumin, Sprouts, and shaved carrots. Wow! Thank you, abcV! By any regular metric, this is a 5/5. Unfortunately, this is New York. More unfortunately, they have a Michelin star. Thus, they must be judged within the strata in which they belong.
The ingredients were FRESH. This is their calling card. The carrots, the squash, the beets, the buckwheat. Kudos to their souring.
The meal is an imbalanced (to me and my table). We were craving protein, and this place highlights the produce. I will say the tastiest dish was a non meat course (mushrooms in a dashi broth)
Not top of my list, but massive respect to what they serve and what they represent.“

“Came here for an anniversary dinner and had one of the best steaks I have ever had! Cooked exactly as I asked and came out at the perfect temperature. We had about 4 servers come out and help distribute food onto our plates and checked on us multiple times through the dinner“

“I’ve never felt more at home in a restaurant than Deser B. And his team made me feel tonight. He was the most authenticly kind and hospitable person I’ve met in New York and needs to be promoted to running all of the stores the way he runs this one.
This was the most authentic Mexican taco in north America. Corn tortillas made in House for each order fresh. I tried all of the protein sources and every single one of them slapped. 20 out of 5 stars. I mean if you don’t go here while you are in town you are crazy.
The toppings and salsa were the best I’ve ever had. The tacos were ready in less than 1 min after I ordered. They are obsessed with being the best and it stands out“

“Somehow, I hadn’t been back to Quantum Leap since before they moved out of their original location in the village in the mid 2010s! Still has a similar vibe. Yes, they market as a vegetarian restaurant and confusingly do serve some chicken and fish, but 85-90% of the menu is vegan. I think the vegan dishes are totally great, home cooked style food with fresh veggies and ingredients. Yes, many Impossible and Beyond meat options, but the simpler yet hearty types of vegetable-centric and healthier-forward menu items are harder to come by at even many vegan restaurants in the city now. The staff is pleasant, friendly, and anticipated our needs. Nice place to enjoy a peaceful lunch or meet up with veggie and/or omni friends. Updated from previous review on 2026-03-13“

“Loved every dish- fluke with black tea, mint and peach(who knew raw fish and fruit went so well together?), amazing grilled artichokes and grilled eggplant. Barely touched my pasta with preserved lemon because I was full, but it was delicious. My daughter’s burger was iconic. The Platonic ideal of hamburgers. Coffee was also delicious. If we had not made a plan to go to La Cabral for dessert and more coffee, I am sure dessert would have been equally excellent.Service was excellent and our waitress was knowledgeable and interested in the food.The fluke reminded me of the first time I went to USC in 1988. I had a plate with raw marinated tuna, raw salmon and raw scallops. The little heaps of fish were so pretty on the plate with their contrasting colors.“

“RAAAAAH this place is a Brooklyn best. Flavorful Ethiopian food with a few twists here and there. The Kitfo plate is our go-to entree pretty much every time. We also consistently get the Lentil Sambusas which come with a fiery hot sauce. If you want something more classic, they have two sandwich options. A Lentil based burger or a Lion’s Mane Chicken sandwich. Both are really good and come with fantastically seasoned fries. If you go for brunch they’ve got a handful of awesome breakfast items like an SEC, Breakfast burritos, and even a vegan vanilla ice cream infused French toast which is a MUST. “My wife and I generally eat for five people, we ordered 4 small plates and 2 mains, still looking into dessert. Each dish had its own layer of perfection with unique flavors and exquisite presentation. I’d say a restaurant on its way to becoming Michelin…..bravo! “I love sushi, and the food at this restaurant is very good. The ingredients are also very fresh. The most important thing to eat Japanese food is the freshness of the ingredients. Especially raw food. The sushi at this restaurant is quite delicious. The combination of soy sauce and rice, in addition to fresh ingredients. It is simply delicious. Highly recommended to everyone.“
