Worst food we ever had in our lives!! Bland and expensive. It came with none of the toppings we ordered!! Tasteless and dry. I suspect the food was kept in the heat for most of the day. “I don't like ramen that much because it's oily and can leave me feeling uncomfortable after eating, but I enjoy coming here regularly because they make them really tasty. I've also enjoyed all the side dishes I tried. My only complaint is the portions are small. After a ramen bowl with some side dish, often times I'd still feel a bit hungry.“

“I wish I took a photo before I ate it. But, if you want something clean and delicious to eat for Korean food, this is THE spot to eat at out of the tri-state area. Usually Korean soup based foods tend to have either too much sodium and additives to make the flavor powerful, or not enough to bring the flavor out. Genuinely, you can NEVER go wrong with this place. I got 육개장 칼국수 (Spicy Beef Handmade Noodle Soup), and you can ask to see if you can add dumplings in the soup for extra.“

“I really like Lucas Sin, so I was expecting this place to be a little more. My expectations aside, the staff was overworked even after 8:30pm, but they were still courteous. I would say this place would still rank much better than Panda Express (there's one down the street), given that this is kind of like a make-your-own type of place (think Sweetgreen, DIGG, etc.) but with a proper Chinese flair (again, contrast with Panda Express).

I would say that the seating area was a little not well-maintained, but you are served with a bowl used for a take-out anyway, so just take it to a place you feel more comfortable eating.

And it was cheap. If I lived closer I would go again but I would not travel for it. Service was great and the food was cheap.“

“I came here one night to try for dinner with a group of friends. I really enjoyed the noodles here! My friends ordered the clam soup with kalgusuk, and the noodles are at a perfect texture and the serving size was a lot. I would say good to share! I ordered the mandu soup with rice on the side, flavor was perfect! The fried dumplings was also nice, and it was great to share. Great kimchi as well!“

“Amazing food! My husband and I stopped by for Friday night dinner. We tried the fried calamari, Pad Kana Moo Grob (Sautéed crispy pork belly with chinese broccoli in garlic sauce.), Pork Chops Vegetable Garlic Sauce, crab fried rice and for dessert, the mango coconut sticky rice. “I’ve been to Star Sushi several times now, and every single visit has been great. The owner, Anthony, and his staff are always super friendly and welcoming. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers — it’s the kind of place where they remember you and your favorites.

The fish is always fresh and the rolls are consistently delicious! My go to is the Star Tower. The amount of fish is very generous and it blends perfectly well with the rice, avocados, roe and sauces. It’s honestly one of the best sushi spots around, both for the food and the people!“

“Excellent Northeastern Chinese food, (not like any from your typical Chinese restaurant.) A great variety of food, including home made dumplings, BBQ skewers, eggplants, pork, beef, packed with flavor and spice . All the dishes were served hot and well prepared. “This is a nice little noodle shop in the middle of the Bronx. They do not have a wide selection on their menu but what they do have is pretty good. They do have clear vegetarian options. Although I probably wouldn't go out of my way to come here, if I was in the area, I'd stop by again“

“I came here for a casual dining experience and had a great time. I ordered the dumpling sampler and the shredded beef mini bao. I personally enjoyed the chicken and vegetable dumplings the most—they had a soft texture and delicious flavor. The shredded beef bao was also excellent—the beef was tender and paired perfectly with the soft, fluffy bao.

My daughter ordered the chicken dumplings and really liked them as well.

We also tried the jasmine tea, which was warm and very pleasant—light and refreshing, a great match for the meal.

Service was fast, and even though they made a small mistake with the order, they corrected it right away. Staff was polite and attentive. The place is clean, and they clean up quickly after each customer leaves, keeping everything ready for the next guest.

There was no background music, but that actually made it easier to have a conversation.

“MD maemil kongguksu was very good. MD kalguksu was not bad (soup and noodles were good but didn’t really like the ground beef in it). We also got the spicy stir fried pork and bibimbap but I would pass on these. They are known for their noodle dishes. Also pretty pricy overall. “First time trying out. Great ingredients and prep but bland flavor / no spice in food, also no tray of chili, soy, salt, or pepper at table. Also, we ordered brown rice but got white rice twice. Atmosphere - I loved the decor - comfy chairs and a great mix of table shapes and sizes and high quality wood paneling and wallpaper, but I would stop trying to be a sports bar with outdated pop playing on speakers, and focus more on food. Music can play in the bar area but not in the restaurant catering to many ages of patrons.“

“Our go to place for lunch, dinner, when we have lots of company, as well as for take out- parties. Food is always yummy and a crowd pleaser. Everyone in my family have their own favorites. Moo Shu Pork with extra pancakes, chicken with eggplant and garlic sauce, as well as all the soups.“

“Just ate lunch at Noodles Plus and it was a delight! The lunch specials come with a choice of spring roll, chive dumpling, or pork pot sticker. I tried the chive dumpling, which was wonderfully springy and paired perfectly with a tasty dipping sauce, along with a light lettuce salad on the side.

The lunch menu features classic Thai dishes like Drunken Noodles and Pad Thai, though I noticed there’s no Pad See Ew. You can add chicken, tofu, beef, or shrimp to your dishes; we both opted for beef in our noodles—Pad Thai for me and Drunken Noodles for her. The portions were generous and absolutely delicious!

The restaurant is cozy and quite popular during lunch hours, especially with the nearby office crowd in downtown White Plains. Don’t expect a leisurely lunch, as there are only about 8 tables inside, plus a few outside. We loved our meals and can’t wait to return for both lunch and dinner when we have more time to unwind!“

“Been here a few times for to-go orders. the quality is solid - dumplings are mostly consistent, as are the chicken dishes. The entree portions are good for the price. Very bare-bones seating area (2-3 small parties tops) but that doesn't affect the food.“

Last week I ordered a half chicken and a beef and broccoli that came out to just under $40. At these prices, it will no longer be my don't feel like cooking alternative. At least not as often.
