“Located in an Urban neighborhood. The exterior and interior could uses some cosmetic work. No parking lot must park on street.
However, the food and the service was ?. We received our food within 10 minutes hot fresh and ready to eat.
I've lived in this neighborhood for 38 years and have driven by this location daily. So on August 27, 2024 I decided to finally stop in. I'm sooo glad I did..?

“First time! Excited! Heard nothing but compliments. The restaurant had many open seats. We enter and a person of upper management looked up and punched in something and then directed the server. The server, under direction took us to the worst place in the restaurant. My prayer was that it wasn’t because we were a family of color. I tried hard to disregard the thought as we were directed to sit outside the kitchen door. :—/. I was getting away from the kitchen. That was the last place I wanted to celebrate our special occasion. I asked for a different place in the restaurant that was housing one other visible couple. She was very happy to oblige us. When a restaurant is full, I can understand…. But this was far from the case. The server was 5STAR ! Food 5STAR ! I will definitely try it again with hopes that it was a mistake on the management part. My hopes…“

“While visiting Cleveland we really wanted good seafood and this place was exactly what we were looking for! Loved the atmosphere and the crab was cooked perfectly. I opted for the mix seasoning boil and loved every minute of it. The service was also top of the line and I really just can’t wait to come back when we’re in town! 😀“

“I ordered from Uber eats so I cannot comment on the service or the atmosphere but it made me rate them also or I couldn't review the food, that being said I really can't understand these bad reviews that are complaining about portion sizes or price!! Compared to other similar places their prices are very low and portion sizes very fair! Even after Uber adds their crazy high fees.Also I am extremely impressed at how fast my order was made.... at first I was worried that it ewouldn't be fresh or hot because it was done so quickly but that was not the case! My dinner was AMAZING! I got the shrimp dinner, added 3 scampi with baked potato and mac ND cheese. Best Mac ever. Shrimp and scampi s were large size seasoned and cooked perfectly. The baked potato was a little bit undercooked but everything else was soooo good that I can overlook that. My only actual complaint is the cocktail shrimp sauce was pretty bad but I doctored it up at home with some lemon and horseradish. To say I am impressed is an understatement and I cannot wait to go back and try everything else they have.... next time I'll save the Uber fees and go get it myself tho. “This was our first ever visit to Bourbon Street Barrel Room (BSBR). I was surprised to find out they have been in business 10 years. Excellent New Orleans style food and service.“

“We ate at the downtown location last night. I’ve eaten here a few times and I’ve always loved it. This visit was my best to date. We ate at the bar and Khadija (sorry, if misspelled) was our server. She was excellent and very attentive while also respecting our privacy. Also, the chairs at the bar are the comfiest seats my cheeks have ever sat on at a bar! 🤭 Now the food…we had Soul Rolls, which have never let me down yet! Yummmm. Then we shared fried catfish, smothered pork chops, house potatoes, candied yams, and Mac n cheese. Delicious!! 🤌 The quality and quantity for the price cannot be beat. Especially for downtown eating. We had enough food left for our lunch today! Oh, don’t let me forget the muffins….🤤. We will be back our next trip to CLE.“

“I went extremely pregnant and I was helped immensely. Of course my baby wanted the catfish dinner. I am glad they had a side that was veggie (green peas) but it was super bland. Could have been cooked with garlic and butter . The catfish was EXTREMELY DELICIOUS! They do it the southern style with cornmeal. I asked for the less sodium option. Bone in so you know it was real and fresh. I was able to get goat meat, porgy and salmon here too. Wait the $10 bag of abt 20 pieces of chicken quarters 🫡🫡🫡 . Everyone is super sweet and helpful. “The meal with Mama Laura and server Tae was an incredible experience. You often hear of the chefs coming to the table talking with the patrons, Mama Laura was very personable and engaging. Server Tae instantly earned a generous tip by attending to us within minutes of us being seated. He showed genuine concern for our dining and spirits needs. Not only did I call them the first night I ordered and got home and opened my boxes and tried the food. I called back to tell them personally that this food was exceptional. It was delicious. It was fresh. It made me Absolutely Happy. The portion size matched the price. The vegetables were on balance with the amount of meat. The taste was true Thai. Had a walleye sammich and shrimp! The fish, fries, the shrimp... OMG everything was good even the cole slaw. I called ahead and order was ready on time. Even gave me extra lemons like i asked. “I ordered a $12 corn beef I asked for the bread to be toasted. She tried to charge me more because she said that's a ruben just for you to toast the bread OK. I went inside I ordered a fry it was a handful of fries for $3. Tell me why I get to my car to eat my sandwich and my sandwich is cold. The cheese was not melted and the meat was room temp.And they were rude. I am never going back.“

“They get Mexican food right! I've visited many Mexican and Latin restaurants in the greater Cleveland area. I've been disappointed most of the time. I wish this one was much closer to home. It was so good I would be a regular if I lived nearby. I certainly will stop there when I'm in Parma. I try the tacos at every place I go as a standard. I don't know why the beef never tastes right. To be fair, I moved here from Los Angeles which has the best tacos in North America. I've been in search of a really good place. I had the steak street tacos. This restaurant nailed them perfectly. The flavor of the steak was delicious. All of the vegetables were fresh and flavorful. The servings were plentiful. I should add that the service was excellent. Those guys really made me feel at home. Hope to be back soon.“
