“Located in an Urban neighborhood. The exterior and interior could uses some cosmetic work. No parking lot must park on street.
However, the food and the service was ?. We received our food within 10 minutes hot fresh and ready to eat.
I've lived in this neighborhood for 38 years and have driven by this location daily. So on August 27, 2024 I decided to finally stop in. I'm sooo glad I did..?

“While visiting Cleveland we really wanted good seafood and this place was exactly what we were looking for! Loved the atmosphere and the crab was cooked perfectly. I opted for the mix seasoning boil and loved every minute of it. The service was also top of the line and I really just can’t wait to come back when we’re in town! 😀“

“We ate at the downtown location last night. I’ve eaten here a few times and I’ve always loved it. This visit was my best to date. We ate at the bar and Khadija (sorry, if misspelled) was our server. She was excellent and very attentive while also respecting our privacy. Also, the chairs at the bar are the comfiest seats my cheeks have ever sat on at a bar! 🤭 Now the food…we had Soul Rolls, which have never let me down yet! Yummmm. Then we shared fried catfish, smothered pork chops, house potatoes, candied yams, and Mac n cheese. Delicious!! 🤌 The quality and quantity for the price cannot be beat. Especially for downtown eating. We had enough food left for our lunch today! Oh, don’t let me forget the muffins….🤤. We will be back our next trip to CLE.“

“Stopped in for the Saturday steak special was not disappointed. The steaks were delicious sides are huge you could swap the baked potato for anything, you get a side salad too, we also had cheese curds. Service was good. It was packed the bar is a bit tight but worth the wait.“

Could have been cooked with garlic and butter . The catfish was EXTREMELY DELICIOUS! They do it the southern style with cornmeal. I asked for the less sodium option. Bone in so you know it was real and fresh. I was able to get goat meat, porgy and salmon here too. Wait the $10 bag of abt 20 pieces of chicken quarters 🫡🫡🫡 . Everyone is super sweet and helpful. Had a walleye sammich and shrimp! The fish, fries, the shrimp... OMG everything was good even the cole slaw. I called ahead and order was ready on time. Even gave me extra lemons like i asked. Decent price. Very clean establishment. Parking is right out front. I was in and out in minutes! Very pleased all way around😋“

“Went on Sunday with my mom and husband and Adam was our server. We were immediately seated. Adam was quick and very attentive. We ordered Prime Rib, Delmonico and burger. I ordered the half chicken to go and mushrooms as an appetizer. Everything was delicious and for the price you can't beat it. The restaurant was clean and nice on the inside and what made the visit awesome was over the server. Adam as wonderful and kept our drinks full at times. You get the value for the meals provided. It's so nice to have an establishment like this as they are long gone. I also loved the fact that we all ordered salad and we got a family style serving where we served ourselves from the salad bowl. “I went here to enjoy a night out with staff and it was the perfect little bar that we needed. The staff was so friendly and great listeners. I ordered a tequila sunrise and a prime rib philly steak sub with fries and mozzarella sticks. I absolutely loved both! The mozzarella sticks are topped with parmesan cheese and were cooked just right. This is a great place for a quick bite to eat and drink. The Dj was also full of life and was very entertaining ? “I’m writing this review and I aint even get the check yet lol this food surprised me and exceeded my expectations easily. The food was delicious, flavorful and really fresh. Surprisingly fresh. The Marty gras empanadas are the highlight. I don’t really mess with cheese or seafood but daaaamn they did they thing. I got the Turkey rib dinner, fuggin phenomenal and packed with good. The cocktails are really good and have a Nola kick to em lol . I also got cornbread, red beans and rice and the bourbon street smashed. I’m lowkey smashed . I’m coming back with big T for her birthday but it’s going to be our first time. Come check em out y’all. The food and plating was great but I had to drive in immediately - 1/27/25 - hey y’all, I’m back, with better photos, this place was sooooooo damn good. I don’t understand why it’s empty in a Sunday night but I don’t care. I got Turkey ribs again, my date had the catfish dinner and she scraped the bowl haha. “That's my go to for a number of reasons. Skeets is a staple in the community. After I come from a comedy show or a jazz concert. I always stop in Skeets before I go home. I have mad respect for an establishment that can be open for as long as he has been in business. I will continue to support.

“Well there prices have gone WAY up but on top of that on the weekends they want to charge you an additional 18% they say there open until 9pm I was there at 810 pm the doors were locked what a bunch of lies I dove 43 miles for that but rest assured going back will be hard because I went to Boo Long up the street what a pleasant surprise they also close at 9pm but welcomed me in at 835 been going to Me Wah and king Wah for YEARS but am now rethinking it“
