“I work nearby and sometimes I like to take coffee breaks at Troubadour. I prefer small high quality places for my breaks which, in my opinion, offer a very different experience than chain coffee shops like Starbucks or DD. I consistently get high quality espresso drinks at Troubadour (Cortado is my standard). Atmosphere is great for a quick read or computer work. They have an outdoor patio that I tried in the summer and it was fabulous (of course the great weather that day helped 😅). I honestly recommend this place very highly for coffee lovers who have an interest in trying different espresso drinks at small specialty places.“

“I came here with my brother for the first time today and this place is so cute and had an awesome variety of donuts! We did a 6 pack so we could try 3 each. His favorite of the ones he tried was sugar cookie and my favorite of the ones I tried was chocolate covered strawberry. We’ll definitely have to come back and try more flavors sometime! “You can't go wrong with this bakery! We needed a cake that same day, and since I had been meaning to try Great Scott's Bakery before, I took the opportunity to call him and see if there was any chance that he had a chocolate and peanut butter cake on hand. He then said that he would be able to make us one from scratch, and in the time frame that we needed it, which was in a few hours! Perfect. We gave him the name for the top of the cake and left it at that. Scott got it done in record time. Went to pick it up and it was beautiful. He had gone above and beyond to make a stunning, one of a kind cake that, might I add, tasted fabulous! Could not have asked for anything more and the birthday boy was so happy with his cake! That was the best chocolate peanut butter cake we've ever had. Soft peanut butter frosting, rich chocolate ganache, and moist chocolate cake, fully decorated, in short notice, on a Saturday! I can't recommend Great Scott's bakery enough and we'll be back for every special occasion cake, and all their other yummy goodies! The cassata cakes look amazing“

“Such a fun and colorful establishment! I try and come here whenever I’m in the area. They have such a variety of flavors and they are cake donuts which are my favorite! The donut names are just as fun and creative as the flavors themselves. Whatever flavor topping you choose they are made to order as you choose. We got a dozen for $18. Again the decor and overall atmosphere is so fun.

“We visit this location quite regularly. I wish that I would have caught her name after all these visits, but there is a sweet blonde gal that works the drive thru window pretty often, who is ALWAYS so kind to us! This morning though, she really went above and beyond and I would love for her wonderful customer service to be recognized! My son is 5 years old and has Autism. Aside from having several food allergies that make eating difficult; he is a picky eater, struggles with various textures, and like many individuals with Autism….he struggles to trying new things. A few months ago, he discovered he likes the glazed munchkins (he calls them “squishy circles” 😂). It became the best part of his morning, stopping for his squishy circles (and mama’s much needed coffee!) Until about 2 weeks ago, when we got an order of munchkins that the glaze was still quite fresh…making them sticky. He reached his hand in the bag to grab one and was absolutely horrified by the sticky texture on his hands. Ever since, he cries “no sticky squishes” 😭😂 So this morning, I tried ordering him an “old fashioned” donut on the app….hoping that the plainness of the donut would cure his fear of the stickies. When we got to the window, the sweet blonde gal told us they didn’t have old fashioned and offered us glazed instead. So I awkwardly explained our dilemma….which she kindly and patiently listened to without any judgement. I embarrassingly asked if there was any way she could pick….the least sticky….of the glazed munchkins for him….to which she said no problem! The pure shock….followed by absolute JOY on my son’s face when he looked into the bag and saw the original “squishy circles” that he fell in love with…truly made my morning. To her, it seemed like no big deal. She provided us quick and kind customer service and probably went about her morning thinking nothing of it. But for us (special needs families)…these small moments of kindness are BIG. So if anyone sees this and knows that sweet blonde gals name, please extend my heartfelt thank you to her for making my son’s day! 💕 (Friday, June 7th, 2024 around 9:15am, drive thru of the N. “Small coffee shop feel, in a college setting. Located in the front of the college at the college center. Staff is friendly, fun, knowledgeable &creative. They make so many delicious frapps; strawberry cassata cake, lucky charms, lavender chocolate chip cookie, peach cobbler, thin mint, chocolate covered strawberry.. &you can only get these recipes here! Always have starbucks merchandise at 50%-70% off, so many choices!Also, please don't mistake us with the Starbucks on the corner of Abbe&254.

Parking: We are located in the front of LCCC. No drive thru, but mobile ordering, quick pickup, virtually no wait or long lines. Can park very close&grab&go.

“The BW location is a hidden gem for Starbucks fanatics on the west side! Early morning, there is ample parking out front for quick grab-and-go, and drinks are always made quickly. Mingling with the sleepy college folk when I'm 2 hours into my day and commuting for my corporate gig is an added amusement!“

Both ladies were amazing in not letting this crotchety man's belittling words bother them and quickly ensured drinks were served to get him out of there. Not only are they professional, but awesome as well. My go to is a Mocha with oat milk and an extra shot of expresso. They do it just right.
