“I’d been drooling over GSB’s pastries on Facebook for months like a sugar-starved stalker, and I finally found myself in the area—hallelujah. The second I walked in, I was hit with a wave of sugary air and a warm hello that felt like a hug from a cinnamon bun. There were so many treats I wanted to adopt, but the second I saw the giant, chocolate-covered cream puff, it basically yelled, “Take me to your husband!” Mission accepted. I brought it home and casually told my husband, “Hey, I picked up a little pastry for you.” Hours later, he opened the bag and said—verbatim—“Holy #%?!”. This thing was an absolute unit. At least six inches tall, overflowing with fresh whipped cream like it was showing off. We both took a bite and just stared at each other like we’d seen pastry heaven. It was rich, cloud-like, and somehow not overly sweet. My husband, a self-proclaimed cream puff connoisseur, declared it the best he’s ever had. And trust me, the man has puff experience. Only one thought: throw in a middle pastry layer, Big Mac-style. Not because it needs it, but because my jaw would appreciate the break from climbing Mt. Cream Puff.“

My granddaughters always ask for some donuts from “the little shop by my house”. We even got to visit the Easter bunny here this past weekend. “My daughter and I have visited the Strongsville location a few times, and it’s always been a delicious treat! For a fun “coffee treat”, she loves their milk steamer with pumpkin spice flavoring. We haven’t ventured away from our usual, but the Nutella with strawberries and bananas is always delicious and so filling. She actually won’t stop talking about how good their Nutella is 😆 Their croissants are amazing, and everyone has always been so nice.“

WOW, these were some delicious pillows of goodness. I had the maple bacon and a raspberry. It put all of us in a good mood. And yes we settled the case. “We visit this location quite regularly. I wish that I would have caught her name after all these visits, but there is a sweet blonde gal that works the drive thru window pretty often, who is ALWAYS so kind to us! This morning though, she really went above and beyond and I would love for her wonderful customer service to be recognized! My son is 5 years old and has Autism. Aside from having several food allergies that make eating difficult; he is a picky eater, struggles with various textures, and like many individuals with Autism….he struggles to trying new things. A few months ago, he discovered he likes the glazed munchkins (he calls them “squishy circles” 😂). It became the best part of his morning, stopping for his squishy circles (and mama’s much needed coffee!) Until about 2 weeks ago, when we got an order of munchkins that the glaze was still quite fresh…making them sticky. He reached his hand in the bag to grab one and was absolutely horrified by the sticky texture on his hands. Ever since, he cries “no sticky squishes” 😭😂 So this morning, I tried ordering him an “old fashioned” donut on the app….hoping that the plainness of the donut would cure his fear of the stickies. When we got to the window, the sweet blonde gal told us they didn’t have old fashioned and offered us glazed instead. So I awkwardly explained our dilemma….which she kindly and patiently listened to without any judgement. I embarrassingly asked if there was any way she could pick….the least sticky….of the glazed munchkins for him….to which she said no problem! The pure shock….followed by absolute JOY on my son’s face when he looked into the bag and saw the original “squishy circles” that he fell in love with…truly made my morning. To her, it seemed like no big deal. She provided us quick and kind customer service and probably went about her morning thinking nothing of it. But for us (special needs families)…these small moments of kindness are BIG. So if anyone sees this and knows that sweet blonde gals name, please extend my heartfelt thank you to her for making my son’s day! 💕 (Friday, June 7th, 2024 around 9:15am, drive thru of the N. “The BW location is a hidden gem for Starbucks fanatics on the west side! Early morning, there is ample parking out front for quick grab-and-go, and drinks are always made quickly. Mingling with the sleepy college folk when I'm 2 hours into my day and commuting for my corporate gig is an added amusement!“
