“Our food came on time, was well prepared and warm. Found an excellent bottle of wine to accompany our meal. Only complaint was trouble using a gift card. First told nothing was on it, then told it had $13.46 on it, which was then applied to an erroneous check (not mine), which was never voided, so the charge is still on my credit card. Eventually management made up for all the confusion (it took 30 minutes just to settle our bill) and gave us a decent discount on our meal. I have another gift card to use on our next visit, so I'm already worrying about more difficulty in the future. I certainly hope not!“

“Gordos in the hole in the wall burger spot that you didn't know you needed. With thick, unique, and tasty burgers. Thick cut fries come standard. There are so many great burger combos to try, but you need to try either the GFat or the simple PBJ. Across their menu you'll find other sneaky good options like the tacos or the pear salad, but the burgers are the core of why you seek out Gordos. Service can be a little slow, especially when it gets busy, but you can often find this place to be fairly open unless it's a Xavier game day. Helpful to know: Park to the left side of the building in the odd looking lot. The right side of the building parking is owned by a different building/business. On nice days, see if you can sit in the back patio. It's a little oasis from the noisy of Norwoods main drag.“

They will call you by your first name. There are a lot of working people who come in there for lunch and middle management types with ties and shirts with rolled-up sleeves. They come there because the food is great and the servers are amazing. The servers draw happy pictures on your check saying thank you. You can watch them cook; it's a diner. I usually get a Greek Salad but the hamburgers and fries are great. So are the Gyros with the Tzatziki. Coffee is bottomless and you have to tell them to stop! The food is great and the service is great. It's like family.They are busiest from around 11:30 to about 1:30 PM. They close at 4 PM. They only open on weekdays. They take credit cards.Vegetarian options: Not vegan but you can get salad and sometimes vegetarian soup. It is Mediterranean so you should be able to work something out. Ask the staff what they would recommend.“

“The food was absolutely amazing. My Butternut squash soup was different in taste, but still good. I had the shrimp and grits, and it was delicious. My only negative takeaway was that the server seemed to be in a hurry. As soon as our drinks came, she immediately asked for our dinner meals. She never filled my water or asked. At one point, after she quickly delivered and picked up our checks, she took my water that I was still drinking and never asked if I was finished or needed a refill. Situational awareness was not a strong suit, but I'm hoping that she slows down and makes the experience for guests personable and not rushed.“

We ordered three courses from a subset of their food menu and had the full drink menu available. For me: the salad was salad. The salmon was crispy and well-seasoned; the accompaniments on the plate and sauce were decent, but the salmon was definitely the star. The carrot cake was moist, not overwhelmingly sweet, and good enough to eat again. I left satisfied and would be willing to come back for a meal in the regular dining room sometime.“

“Great service, Kimberly was our waitress and she took good care of us and was very nice. The food I would classify as "solid/good." The 4 stars is not because they did anything wrong, but because I think they could do a few things better where the food is concerned considering the price. For instance, my pulled pork sandwich was large, and the BBQ tasted great. The pork was perfect, but the coleslaw could've been better. It was just a bit bland and dry. Probably more pepper would do the trick for the flavor. Fries were solid, nothing to complain about there. My fiancée ordered the buffalo chicken mac, the buffalo sauce tasted really good, and the chicken was juicy. The mac & cheese part was solid, but I think it could've been a bit cheesier and a bit creamier. Again, everything was good, but for $15-17 a dish, I think a few things could be improved just a bit! I would happily return, though.“

We began with the oysters and the bone marrow. If you've never had bone marrow like we hadn't, get it. I'm telling you that it's sublime. That was followed with the seasonal spring salad. I know this is a steakhouse and they do their steak as well as anyone, but I've never had a salad that good. It was the single best bite of the meal!After the salads, they brought out our 4oz petit filets, fingerling potatoes, and sauteed mushrooms and onions. We prefer to have small steaks and let it be an element of the meal rather than the meal itself and I'm so glad we did! The entire meal was delicious and I'd hate to have ordered a larger steak and missed out on the opportunity to try some of their other menu items.Finally, we wrapped up the meal with a creme brulee for each of us (they had two types so we got one of each and shared). Creme brulee is my favorite dessert and The Lonely Pine didn't disappoint!I can't wait to go back. I've been talking to folks at work about it all morning and several of them are excited to try the place as well.GO. Enjoy your night out. Also will note for those with allergies that you may want to confirm all ingredients with staff; my bf got the kimchi hot dog and we planned to share until there was a mystery sauce on it that he thought could be egg-based. We couldn't find the sauce listed on the menu for that item to id it. Taste of the food was excellent, but we do feel as though the portions were much smaller because they were to-go, and that made the price seem severe for our servings. Worth trying, and service was excellent. Just make sure to dine in.“

“I honestly had never heard of Red Feather until this Christmas when my Aunt gifted me a card to this establishment. I wasn't sure what to expect and that may be why my review is so high. The restaurant was small but the flavors were outlandishly large. The chef and kitchen pay fine attention to the smallest details and it's so very evident. I went with the winter menu Alabama White BBQ which is totally out of the norm for me, but came with a rave review from the waiter. He was not wrong. The mayo BBQ and peppery rub with honey mustard pecans brussel sprouts was wonderful and to die for. The prep took a bit longer to come but the wait was every bit worth it when I got to dig into the country comfort food to mix that chicken and cheddar grits together. I witnessed the 38oz Ribeye and the Filet Mignon all delicately plated with yums from my party. The location and ambiance make this a perfect date night trip, although it'll cost you, it's well worth it.Parking: There is a lot within the block next but there is also street and valet at the restaurant.“
