“We have been enjoying this restaurant for a couple of years, dining in and introducing friends to the delicious food. Yesterday was the first time we got delivery. We were hosting a Chinese New Year Feast. We ordered our favorites: wontons in chili sauce, wok fired green beans, eggplant in garlic sauce, shrimp fried rice, and sesame chicken. The dishes were all excellent and delicious with generous portions. Our friends ate very well and complimented everything. The delivery was perfect, the restaurant had packed it all really well and it arrived on time. We are so glad we ordered from ChuanZiang HaoZi!!!“

“I have never felt compelled to leave a review until this place. Ordered the pan seared potstickers and the Dan Dan Hand Stretched Noodles. I am fortunate enough to travel around the world for my work and I can genuinely say this is the most complex and flavorful noodle dish I have ever eaten regardless of restaurant or country. The sesame paste they use in the base gives the most rich umami flavor to go with the wonderfully seasoned beef. The hand stretched noodles have truly perfect tooth to them as well giving a very hearty feel to the dish! I could not recommend this place enough! Truly the first 10/10 I have had in Columbus, Ohio.“

“I ordered Carry Out. I got the Szechuan Triple Delight which was delicious. The chicken, shrimp and beef were cooked to perfection as were the vegetables. I do not care for a lot of sauce so next time I will ask for light sauce but it was spiced just right and there was very little oil, which I appreciated! The hot and sour soup was spicy but just perfect for me! Felt so good going down with this persistent cold I’ve had. My only recommendation would be that the restaurant make their atmosphere more inviting. The stark, white lighting is awful. I would love to eat there but it’s just so bright!!“

Golden China Express is very much nearby for us, but we didn't know what to expect.\nWe could not have been more pleased. The Lo Mein and War Sue Gai were delicious and with generous portions. We split a large WonTon Soup which was also delicious.\nIt was a rather large order, as we included friends, and enjoyed the meal together. The online order was easy to complete and it was ready for pickup when promised. There were absolutely no mistakes in the order and we were all pleased with the taste of all the menu items. “Food got out fast even though there is only two people working in there. I’ve noticed they usually get it out a lot faster if you go into the store. They definitely have room to improve with the interior and menu being very old but overall a good experience and quality food.“

They whipped me up an off-menu speciality on the spot. And it was terrific! Huge shrimp in a delicious sauce, big chunks of green pepper, etc. Their egg rolls were also nice and crunchy which I love and that seems to be harder to find anymore at places I try. The woman working was watching soap operas or something at full volume but I had earbuds in and was too distracted by the tasty meal to mind. “The Dragon House is recommend on several of the "best of" sites. Many of the sites write about the delicious food and the large portions for a reasonable price. What impressed us the most was the wonderful waitress. She answered our questions and carried on a conversation throughout our meal. “We went to the Ace of Cups to watch a performance by Galactic Empire yesterday and we're hungry so we went across the street to Northeast Chinese restaurant. This little hidden spot for most folks turned out to be some of the best Chinese food that I have eaten in my life and I have eaten Chinese food all over the world. The portions are huge, the price is good and the staff very friendly. I recommended anybody traveling through Columbus that might want some good Chinese food, to look this place up and go there and eat.“

We were surprised that the place had been closed for quite some time as it was our go-to place for Chinese takeout. It has been a staple for Marcus theatre area for many many years. It finally reopened under new ownership, but no sign.

The owner was there to greet us and show us the menu. Very nice guy and felt welcomed. We ordered the orange chicken, bokchoy dish, and chicken egg roll. Food was hot and the bokchoy was our favorite dish. Orange chicken wasn't the best but wasn't bad either (would get again). My only gripe is that the prices are similar to a sit-down full-service restaurant and not your typical take-out Chinese food prices. While I would love to come here again the price is way too high for us as we like to go get a quick meal before a movie, etc. I get it the prices need to be adjusted to match inflation/food costs but the price point before new ownership was so good.

All in all, I do want to try the other dishes as the food was good but it won't be on a regular basis as the prices are not competitive with traditional TOGO Chinese places.

“This is my first time trying Halal China Bistro and I am not mad I took the 25 minute drive each way. The lady was nice and the portions were plentiful. “We love this place! My husband and I have been here a number of times over the years, and it has always had a warm and inviting atmosphere with really great food. We’ve had all the broth options, and they are all flavorful and comforting (although chicken mushroom is my fav). The meats are good quality, and the amount you get for the money is pretty good.

Lately we have been going back for the soup dumplings which are made fresh to order and worth the wait. We’ve had both the chicken and pork, and both are delicious.

“A great American Chinese fast food restaurant. The place was clean. Their service was fast. Their entree had a large size with a low price. I ordered create your own stir fry coming with chicken, fried rice and 6 veggies. The sauce was bland but veggies and fried rice improved the taste a lot. It is not an authentic Chinese restaurant but a good and cheap fast food place.

I know people who come down from Powell to get their food here because there’s nothing better. Crab Rangoon was decent, I liked the dough better than the inside. And the edamame needed some salt unless you like it plain. “Been looking for a good chinese place since we just moved. Got a flyer on the door today and decided to try, especially after looking at the prices compared to other places.

It tastes really good, like something from my childhood. It might not be as strong tasting as other places, but it tastes like home. Still really flavorful without being overly salty. Lots of veggies and a good balance of sauce, meat, and veggies. Meat is tender and not overcooked, almost like a stew. Food was done to order and quick.

My buddy tried the General Tso's, I got the veggie chicken, and my spouse got the honey chicken.

Maybe I'm just feeling sentimental lately, but I teared up a bit. There used to be a chinese place I grew up going to and it brought back those memories. Think we found our new local joint.“
