“AMAZING FOOD ALL I CAN SAY! We brought our newborn after her check-up and staff i think they owner husband and wife welcome us 👏🏻👏🏻 we had the kamjatang hot pot, me and wife finished all that and we got instructions from the husband how to handle properly the meal from eating it and disposal of bones, plenty selection of sides and get this, you can ask as much as you want as long as you can finish it! Atmosphere is amazing music not too loud me and wife can still have a nice conversation. Highly recommended this place when it comes to korean food. Good people too! 👌🤘“

“I’ve come here since she opened, and am recently pregnant. Her food is always fresh and light . I’d just like to give her my most heart felt thank you for being open. It’s hard to find wholesome food outside. It reminds me of my Korean friends and their moms cooking . My partner went today to get food from her while I’ve been sick at home and she was so gracious and patient with us. Thanks so much again don’t ever stop. “Great vibes here, I got the spicy tuna and spicy salmon maki rolls, both were absolutely delicious and maintained their flavour without the spicy taking away from it at all. Great blend of quality ingredients and preparation expertise, will be coming back!“

“This restaurant is a bag of mixed emotions. It looks okay on the main door, in door isn’t bad . It’s small but carries this cozy vibe. Suitable more for students, I’d say. The food looks okay too but the taste…the taste is another issue. It doesn’t match the look. It tastes like Chinese food. Let me explain…I think they don’t use the Korean ingredients to make traditional Korean dishes, but instead just use any generic soya sauce and spice to make these original dishes. Fried dumplings are kinda hard & oily. Service is okay. I’d suggest owl of minerva restaurant if you wanna try Korean dishes. Pricing is fair.

“Great find in Hamilton! I was looking for an authentic restaurant for Korean food and this one surprised me. The unassuming exterior had me skeptical but it is much larger inside than you would expect. With both bbq option or regular meal options, you have a choice as to the type of dinner table you are seated. I went with a friend and we shared the ddokbokki and tang soo youk. As my main course, I had the jjangpong. Spicy and savoury, was definitely made in an uncompromising way. Only reason it is a 4 star is because service was a little slow with the restaurant only having 1 server when I went. Highly recommend this place if you want to try some Korean food that Koreans will actually eat and enjoy.“

They offer bottled Heineken and Corona, as well as soju. If you plan to drink, the Oakville GO station is conveniently right across the street. Prices are in line with area restaurants. Plenty of free parking all around the place, including a handicapped spot near the door. High-speed guest wifi works well. The place opens at 10am (11am on Sunday), if you feel like a nice dolsot bibimbap or galbitang for brunch.“

“We arrived in parking lot 10 mins early and politely asked if they’re open. The people at the front kindly let us in knowing it was cold outside. The seating area is very nice and warm feeling. We have our orders but my girlfriend changed her mind and the waiter was very nice to help change our order. The food we ordered came in quick and fresh as we expected it to be. No flaws, only a good time and a full tummy!“

“I ordered off Uber Eats tonight and got the spicy rice cakes, I asked for no spice so she gave me the mild beef sauce instead I wasn’t sure what was going on and I called and she explained I still wasn’t happy until I tried it and it’s amazing!! I know feel bad for calling and complaining! Definitely get the rice cakes when you go there or order! Amazing food!“

“The sushi here is absolutely delicious. The ingredients are fresh. The rice is cooked properly and the portions are good for the price. These rolls are quite big (above average) and lots of variety to choose from. Note this a takeout location only with no dining in. A great spot if you’re in the mood and looking to try something new. We’ve been multiple times now and they have been consistent. Enjoy“

We were a little overwhelmed by the menu as we have never tried any dishes before but our server Harsh was AMAZING, she gave us tips without making us feel silly for asking. I'm not sure the names of the dishes we had but both were so good!! “Little Tokyo is a staple restaurant in Oakville that has been there for over 20 years! I have been going here over the years and finally decided to leave a review. They serve consistently good quality home cooked Korean meals. Last time I went in, I noticed the restaurant was renovated and offers nice in restaurant seating. Meals take around 20 min to prepare, you can call ahead for takeout. The employees are always nice. I got the chicken teriyaki and bulgogi. My fam got the bibimbop and sushi (a newer offer). Meals are served hot and will not disappoint!“
