“First time ordering from Chef on Call tonight, it was absolutely ddelicious! I ordered the gambino, I added bacon, spinach and goat cheese! It was perfect! Will have the rest for lunch tomorrow the portion was huge!! My fiancé ate his before I could snap a picture but he loved his also!! he ordered the Chicago wrap and the Mac and cheese! Definitely will be back!“
“My wife and I had an amazing time here! All the staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was intimate without making you feel like you were eating in total darkness. We will definitely be going back!“
“The food is what it is for this type of chain, but the bartender was quite accommodating, so he deserves a shout for his dedication on Saturday night. There aren't many drink options low in sugar on this menu, and he took the time to modify a mojito so I wouldn't die from the sweetness. Great service experience.“
“Visited The Bauer Kitchen to celebrate my husband's birthday. Was quick and easy to book a reservation online, two weeks in advance. Arrived at reservation time and were seated immediately. We opted for the bartender's choice of what was on tap, which was Three Ring Circus from Block 3 Brewing just down the road in St. Jacob's. Despite it being an 8.9% beer, it was very tasty and did not taste like a beer that strong. Excellent selection, bartender! We started with the crispy fried brussels sprouts, which were the star of the meal. Perfectly crisped and seasoned, served with housemade fried chips and a garlic aioli, these were nothing short of delightful. Our mains were the Szechuan seared tuna bowl and the plant-based fried chick'n sandwich (with a side of sweet potato wedges). The tuna bowl was a great mix of ingredients. The sushi rice, veggies, and mango paired with the high quality piece of tuna, seared to perfection was "just awesome" in my husband's words. The plant-based fried chick'n sandwich was tasty as well. The housemade bread&butter pickles were a nice touch. The only thing I didn't enjoy about it was the bun to filling ratio. It seemed like a lot of bun, but was still very good and I would order it again. Our waitstaff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. He double-checked that there were no allergies once I ordered off the plant-based menu. At the end of our meal, he brought out a lovely complimentary slice of carrot cake for us to enjoy for my husband's birthday, which was a nice and appreciated surprise. Our food came out quickly despite how busy the restaurant became over the dinner rush.Looking forward to returning to The Bauer Kitchen in the near future!Vegetarian options: Extensive plant-based menu, many of the options are things from the regular menu that are able to be modified for vegan/vegetarian diets.Dietary restrictions: Plant-based menu and gluten-free menu available.Parking: Street parking on Caroline, parking lot off Caroline with underground garage available as well.“
“Mac n cheese and pow pow (lol actually Bang Bang) shrimp I think they were called. Very good. Large portions. Only problem was the toast. I was going to say garlic toast but it tasted so burnt I couldn't eat it. The guy who burns them in the back should try it and figure out how to get it grilled without making them inedible. No point in putting it on a plate if it tastes that bad.“
“Food was hot, fresh made, the server was amazing. The facility was clean, bright and welcoming. One of my favorite restaurants.Parking: Probably 100 parking spots or close to it in the free lotKid-friendliness: Kids are most welcome hereWheelchair accessibility: There is a great ramp at the back of the restaurant right from the parking lit.“
“Great place - decor and atmosphere and wonderful to be able to listen to some great musicians.Food is ok, but when I pay $9 (plus of course expected min 15% tip and taxes!) for a ‘’ glass’ - which is rather 10 ml?? of brandy I want this in a nice, proper glass and not in clunky, cheap thick glass ! Have some style people!“
“Came in on Good Friday to try out Sonny's fish and chips, Morty's and the old owner of Sonny's teamed up for this occasion and I'm not gonna lie I'm glad I came. Food was on the table in less than 2 minutes, staff were nice abd according adating, and the fish chips were worth it. I thought the gravy was an unusual addition but I'm glad I tried it. If you are reading this review the day it's posted and haven't tried the fish abd chips yet, you are missing out“

“Food here is pretty consistent. They are obviously busy around lunch time, but the staffs manage the restaurant pretty well. It is a little pricey compared to other fast food chains, especially if you order a meal. But they have amazing coupons every month.I used to love their milkshakes. But they seem to have a weird after taste?“
