the food was fantastic, I can't say enough about it. We got every appetizer (excluding ceaser salad) and each one was a 10/10.

I don't like steak, and I hate seafood... but I could have finished the steak bites and calamari on my own! The battering and sauces on both were absolute perfection, I'd try to recreate these dishes at home but I know even with my home-cooking skills I would be disappointed.

My only gripe is the music was loud, but they had a party upstairs so that may have contributed. (This wouldn't have even been something I noticed, but my 4month old was with us and it was hard to hear her babbles)“

“We go to Wimpy's, 771 Queenston Road, Hamilton, Ontario at least once a week sometimes more. They have a Senior's menu from Monday to Friday at very good prices. We have had many different breakfast, lunch and dinner meals. The food has always been good. They have daily specials. Tuesday and Friday are Fish and Chip specials. We usually dine-in. Sometimes we do take out.

Parking: Park for free at the restaurant. It is beside Popeye's so sometimes parking lot may be full. It is across the road from Eastgate Mall which has a very big parking lot.

Kid-friendliness: They have a children's menu.“

Decent beer prices. They ran out of Coors light on tap but still had bottles.

“My friend and I had an early dinner tonight at the location at 735 Queenston Rd, in Hamilton. Our server was Madeline and she was just great. Have not seen her there before but she was such a great server, humerous, kind and helpful in making our choices. The baked potatoes needed five minutes to go before they were reeady and she was apologetic but it was well worth the wait. Everything was hot and fresh and Madeline made our visit there delightful. We were there from 4 until 5:00 if this is helpful. We do go there a lot but this meal was absolutely the best. Top rating today, without a doubt.“

“I was in the area, hungry and looking for something tasty for dinner and I was fortunate enough to spot this Harvey's! Immediately upon pulling in there was ample parking and the lot was nicely shoveled. Inside, the restaurant was immaculately clean and I was warmly greeted by all of the staff. I ended up going with an Angus burger poutine frings and whipped up an Arnold Palmer for myself at the soda machine. The food was served piping hot and absolutely delicious. The serving size was EXTREMELY generous. I actually had trouble finishing the frings poutine. They were so jammed full they could barely close the lid. For my Angus burger I had the works and added ghost pepper mayo. Don't say I didn't warn you but it is legit! It is both delicious and spicy. Use with caution if you are not accustomed to taking heat. Overall this was an absolutely perfect dining experience and for sure I would be happy to come back do this Harvey's next time I am in town! An easy 5-stars!“

“As a senior, I’ve struggled with my hearing when out etc. I went to Harvey’s on Upper Ottawa after my local dump run. The gentleman named Chris was so helpful and patient with me. He took the time to help me get the lunch I needed. The restaurant is clean, friendly and most of all the food was delicious! What Chris didn’t know was I’m recently widowed and it’s hard for me to eat solo etc. Having a great conversation with him just made that task more doable! Thank you!

“Their wings and blue cheese dip are excellent. The service might not always be quick but whenever we go out, we leave enough time to enjoy ourselves. If we are in a hurry we eat at home or go to a fast food establishment. They have numerous specials, their pizza is excellent and the ice bar rail at the main bar is functional. Lots of sports to watch. Overall, a great place to drop by.“
