“The food is very good, especially the Mao Du Gong dishes. It is very suitable for gathering with friends. The waiters Lily, Brandy and Hazel have perfect service. They helped us set the table and paid careful attention to our needs. They took the initiative to get the tableware for us.“

“Jimmy, our friend from Pittsburgh, USA told us about this place. He read about it on a Chinese community group chat and is determined to eat here when he gets to visit Toronto. He said the food is authentic from his hometown in Anhui, China. He is missing real Chinese food.
We have eaten here twice. Service is friendly and thoughtful. My 92 yo mom loves the wide soup noodles (their signature dish). I like the rice noodles with sour beans.
Washrooms are clean but they are downstairs in the basement.“

“This barbecue rice restaurant really surprised me! They not only provide traditional delicious barbecue rice, but also low-fat fitness meals specially prepared for fitness people, especially suitable for people like me who pay attention to healthy eating. The barbecue is tender and juicy, and paired with low-fat side dishes and low-oil cooking methods, it won't feel burdensome at all. The portion size is also very reasonable, meeting energy needs without feeling excessive. The service is also very considerate. When ordering, you can freely choose the ingredients and combinations to fully meet different dietary needs. Recommended to all friends who love food and want to eat healthily!
The above is written by chat gpt. This rice is a bit salty.“

“Absolutely delightful experience! I recently dined at Bao and tried their Beijing Duck.
The preparation and presentation were impeccable. The duck was perfectly roasted with crispy skin and tender meat, bursting with flavor. The accompanying pancakes and sauces complemented the dish wonderfully. The service was attentive and the ambiance added to the overall enjoyment of the meal. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Beijing Duck!“

flavourful taste. The service is impeccable. All the waiters were very kind. The ambiance is calm and the decoration is beautiful. We had a few dietary restrictions and they respected it completely and made any necessary accommodations. In addition to that the servings are very large and filling. Very positive experience.

“Came here twice a year apart and the pan fried baos were still jaw droppingly good. Crispy bottom without being burnt, meat and soup filling has a deep flavour that is sweet and fragrant aroma and not overly salty!
Duck vermicelli is very light flavour but hearty enough.“

“Nice and Convenience place. Good foods. Best Asia food shop in town.
Pricing at Bridge Ribs is reasonable, especially consideringthe quality and portion sizes. It’s slightly higher than a typical fast food chain, but given the fresh ingredients and the authenticity of the flavors, it’s well worth it.“

“We visited this place in a Saturday evening. The pork knuckle with rice is real good. Highly recommended. I always dreamed of having this dish in Longjiang, China but didn’t get a chance. Fortunately this place is a small gem on Yonge. This restaurant is small but looks like the owner tried hard to make the interior look similar to what you might find in Guangdong. Such as the plastic seats and foldable tables. There are other Chinese places in Toronto pretending that they have the same dish, but they are all kinda fake after I came here.“

“The place is cozy and flavours were great! Portions are huge as well. We had the lunch special combo (Sauerkraut Fish) that includes a side dish, rice and a drink. They have spicy and non-spicy options for all palates with lots of add-on options too. Will definitely be back to try their spicy options next time!“

“Lunch time craving satisfied.
Wanted some HK Cafe food today, specifically some satay beef noodles.
@goodluckhkcafe always comes through. The food here never disappoints. Tho quite on the pricer side, but well worth it imo.
Key to finding a spot here is you have to come 10 to 15 min before actual lunch time. Once you pass the 12:00 point, the traffic picks up.
Try their drink menu as well. Highly recommended. I just didn't feel like having any milk tea or lemon tea today
Check this out next time you're in yonge and finch area.“

“Came on Sunday, around 12-1pm. It was a bit busy so we had to wait for a table but I was excited because I’ve been watching the culinary class wars show!
Service is really fast because they use iPads to take orders, but also the staff were really kind and lovely.
Overall, the food was pretty good but I wouldn’t say it’s the absolute best. I mainly tried the jajang (black bean sauce noodle) and the tangsuyuk (sweet and sour deep fried pork).
The jajang noodles have an amazing texture, and the sauce is creamy, but I had to add a bit of soy sauce. The tangsuyuk had a nice sauce, but I wish it was a bit crispier.
I definitely recommend anyone who comes to this restaurant to get a noodle dish or one of their popular dishes. We ordered other dishes such as a fried rice which was just decent. The table beside us enjoyed the popular dishes but barely touched their soup. :(
I also wish there were more non-pork options,, it seems like Paik really loves pork.“

“The presentation of the dishes, the quantity and the taste were fabulous. The house was full on today's (Saturday) late lunchtime when we arrived. But we were seated shortly because of the 3-4 diligent young servers. We would like to thank Owen specially for his helpfulness and kindness so that we had a happy lunch!
We ordered deep fried spicy tofu which was just right for my palate to handle. The wrap of the beef steamed dumplings, or baos was thin with sufficient juice inside which is as good as the famous Chinese restaurant in First Markham Place. Last of all, the pork wonton in chicken soup was yummy too! Forgot to say the price was very affordable! Bonus!
I definitely will bring my family there in the near future. Hopefully we are going to see Owen again!“

“The taste is pretty good, the portions are huge, and the prices are very reasonable.
It's a pity that I didn't get the roast chicken, but I got the pepper and sesame chicken, which has a very special taste.
I highly recommend the sauerkraut pot. The more you cook it, the better it tastes. The meatballs inside are super fragrant.

“China Wok Super Chinese Food has the best-breaded chicken wings (American Chinese food style) in the Greater Toronto Area. The scrumptiously marinated wings are coated with a seasoned batter (with unique, refreshing seasoning blends, such as rosemary) and fried to an absolute crispy golden brown. Once you start those wings, you can't stop. In fact, these wings are so good that I ordered 200 of them for my party last winter, and I still don't get tired of those damn wings! Also - they are great if you keep them in the fridge for a day & reheat them too.
Although their fried rice and vegetables are not as out-of-this-world as their wings, they all still pack great wok hei while tasting surprisingly "healthy" (because they are not as heavily seasoned as other Chinese food places). I think the chef wanted to ensure that the other dishes did not steal the show of their wings.
Overall, I strongly recommend China Wok Superb Chinese food, regardless of whether you want to grab a combo meal with wings, rice and vegetables or just ten wings for a meal. They are all great options with a decent price.“

“The entrance of this restaurant is facing Hwy 7, behind Shinta BBQ, on the lower level. I made a reservation for an early dinner, and the staff was kind enough to give us the private room because we had a baby with us. By the time we finished, there were lines out the door, so reservation is recommended.
We pre-ordered the winter melon soup and everyone loved it. Most dishes were delicious, only one or two were either too sweet or too salty. Overall, I would definitely return and recommend this restaurant for authentic Cantonese food.
Kid-friendliness: High chairs are available.“

Love how it's not all you can eat. So. Tried it.
Fresh ingredients. Good service. Definetly a good meal and I think the bill comes out lower than all you can eat.
Likely looking to return again soon.
Recommended for both large and small group.“

“The clerk's quality was extremely poor. We asked for a number 2, but the clerk frowned and said we should say combo 2. When asked what kind of drinks we wanted, we didn't understand and were very impatient to explain to us. A little basic patience and respect are nothing short of quality. Our attitude was very good throughout the whole process, it would be better for you to take the initiative to make things happen. poisonous. This is the first time I've seen such poor quality.“

“Glad to report, this award winning Richmond Hill, Northern Chinese Cuisine icon is still as ‘ Great ‘ as before, offering incredibly tasty food at an amazing price point served by super friendly staff.
Our party of 5 ordered 9 yummy dishes for a mind blowingly cheap $115!!.....Unreal!!
Some notable dishes we had included:
- ‘ Award winning ‘ sliced pork in spicy garlic sauce and cilantro. Still as
uniquely delicious as before. IMHO, nobody does it better in town!
- Double smoked Pork belly, Scallion Pancake wrap. The smoky aroma of the
pork?! Wow! Paired with the sweet bean paste and crispy pancake and a
gorgeously delicious bite was conceived!
- Double Cooked Pork. Perfectly executed traditional dish, well seasoned with
nice wok-hay. Degree of spiciness was spot on
- Northern Style Tea Smoked Duck. Fragrant and mouthwatering. Talk about
finger licking good! So good, we even chewed and down some of the
flavorful, crunchy bones!
- Pork and Bok-Choi Pot Stickers. Crispy bottom. The dainty and well crafted
dumpling was packed full of umami filled broth.
Other main and side dishes ordered include:
Stirred fry Taiewanese A- Vegetable with minced garlic, Stuffed sticky rice roll, Hot and Savory Soybean milk, Stirred fry Cabbage with Chinese bacon. Dessert of Fried Egg white doughnut with homemade red bean paste stuffing……so good!
Now that this visit reconfirmed the quality and our faith of this place, we will definitely return….and soon!“

“Two of us went for dinner and ordered three dishes: Xi'an style cold noodles (凉皮),Picked bun with lamb in Shanxi style(羊肉泡馍),and Big platter spicy chicken with hand pulled noodles(大盘鸡). Everything tasted so good and authentic except that there was only very few pieces of lamb in the picked bun with lamb dish and most were fat. The chicken dish was very big portion and would strongly recommend.“

“Nothing but great things to say. If you want some hot spicy soup on a cold day? This is the spot. Most places have semi-spicy soup, but if you want a challenge, this is your spot. The braised chicken is beautiful tender and flavourful. With the price, they do not cheap out on the serving size. With each bite I took it didn’t feel like the dish was shrinking but rather growing with how much meat they gave!! This review is not based off of one visit either. Every time I’ve eaten here it’s been nothing but consistent.“

“I love this place! It reminds me of the food from my hometown Nanjing. “A no-nonsense congee place in a retail plaza. What this place lacks in atmosphere it makes up for in flavour, charisma, and value. The server is friendly and I got the vibe that she actually cared whether or not we enjoyed our meal, making good suggestions. “An ideal venue for a late dinner or even a solo late night snack! The interior is clean and well-lit. As a Chinese "dumpling house", their specialty includes wonton and dumplings, but they also serve skewers, noodles, scallion pancakes, and more. “Don’t know why some left 3 stars after commenting on the delicious foods. This is Chinese restaurant. Shouldn’t expect unnecessary service like other types of restaurants. They put their best efforts in the substance not in the lips service
Very good Chinese foods I haven’t been able to find in a long time. I have been here 3 times and each time the quality is just as good.

“If you want the taste of a Hong Kong-style tea restaurant, I think this restaurant is worth recommending. Milk tea has its own unique tea aroma, unlike other restaurants that only have a sweet and milky taste. The beef satay is a diced dish, the satay sauce is flavorful, the meat is tender, and the noodles are just like most tea dishes. The noodles are like a diced dish with no leftover flavor.“

Be aware this place is mostly for take-out. They dont really have a dine in area.“

They need to focus a little bit to keep the place more clean inside. I am sure that will increase the sale and flow of people will be more. They have lot in vegan menu and meat. Thank you for the great taste and service, keep up, People should try once to know there taste. I was satisfied.“
