“We had a wonderful shabu shabu experience at this restaurant and their A5 Wagyu option is definitely a must try. It’s located inside the mall together with Shinta BBQ. Parking is available and they can validate your ticket for two hours. Staff are friendly!“

“Literally a hidden gem since no one really talks or post about it on social media. Spontaneously walked into TAKI Japanese Cuisine for dinner one weekend, and we were so thankful that they were able to take the 2 of us in for omakase dinner at the bar!

They took over the same space as Rin Sushi with the same decor and same layout. The waitresses who served us that evening wore traditional Japanese kimonos; the chef and staff all spoke in Japanese. Food and service were amazing!

“I dined in with my boyfriend and friend on Saturday ($45.99/per person) evening around 9:30pm and was notified the kitchen will close at 10:30pm. We would have about 1h to eat as we were really hungry walking in and pretty full after. This is my third time dining at this restaurant location and the beef on the all day menu is my favourite! They only accept cash or debit!“

“Can’t comment much on service and atmosphere since I had to go.

Their omakase to go was def great. Had the two person omakase and they come in a cute styrofoam box.

Fish variety is pretty similar to other omakase. Overall was good just going to point out the two that didn’t taste as well (Mackerel and Ikura) compared to all the other omakase I’ve been to. Besides that it was pretty stellar for a togo experience. Oh and uni and ikura were a bit in the smaller side as well

“Ordered takeout from this place on a weekday. The resto occupies the spot that Apron Cafe used to sit in.

My order was ready in 15-20 min. Walked in and was greeted warmly by the hostess who handed me my food.

I ordered a yuzu miso pork loin and an okonomiyaki.

The pork was crispy and juicy. The miso sauce was great! I get very similar vibes between this place and Katsuya. The menus also look VERY similar.

Okonomiyaki was tasty as well. I liked the fresh salad on top.

Overall, food quality was excellent! I do think it was quite pricey though for the quantity of food. Prolly wouldn't be a regular because of the price.

Will return to try some of their other katsu flavours!“

“Thrilled to discover our new neighbourhood has such a high-quality, homey Japanese restaurant! My sister and my Japanese brother-in-law were visiting from the States, where they live in a small Southern city without access to a wide variety of Japanese food. My BIL was in absolute heaven—we dined in one night and then two nights later ordered take-out so my sis and BIL could get a fix before leaving town.

We enjoyed a sake tasting, and my BIL was pleased with the sake options too. The owners and staff are warm and the vibe is laid back and local. There was a table celebrating a birthday, and the birthday “boy” (elderly man) bought a round of drinks for the whole restaurant and we sang to him.

Small dining room, not pretentious, with a fantastic variety of fresh fresh fresh sashimi as well as hot dishes (seared mackerel yum). I have celiac disease so couldn’t taste some of the dishes ordered, but high marks were given to everything. The staff was accommodating to my dietary restrictions and served GF tamari.

Reservation strongly recommended, at minimum call before you go so you know whether you need to ask for take-out!

Finally, for the quality of the food the prices are more than reasonable.
I also like that I can get Soju at this restaurant as I prefer it with sushi to Sake.

“I went here with my partner for dinner and we got combo set B, with a regular rosé cream pasta, one japanese hamburg steak, and the spring blossom rolls. The food was quite good; I enjoyed the spiciness of the rosé sauce in the fusion pasta, and my partner liked his hamburger steak, but did note that he liked my pasta a lot too. Both of us thought the sushi rolls were delicious and unique- the presentation was beautiful and the apple and yuzu tobiko on top of the rolls added a light, fresh fruity taste to the dish. Overall, we would rate the food a 8/10, however, it is a tad more on the expensive side in terms of price per portion.

The service was really good- both waiters were extremely kind and attentive. The atmosphere was also cozy and quiet, and the decor was very tasteful. For both service and atmosphere, we would rate it a 9/10. We will likely be returning to try some of the other options on their menu.

A note is that there isn’t a lot of above ground parking, but there is an underground parking garage with a lot of space and free parking for 3 hours.“

“LOVE Sapporo sushi!! I feel like this store is so hidden that it's an easy miss, but if you're ever looking for a sushi shop with delicious rolls I highly recommend! First time coming I ordered the Salmon Magic Roll (not pictured) and the roll was stuffed with filling and so saucy and yummy, different than any other salmon rolls I've had in the past. “Noah Kosher Sushi makes some of the best sushi I've ever had. Period. I always get the raw fish variety (Salomon or Tuna) and sometimes the cooked ones in addition. The fish is always fresh and tasty. The prices for a tray are comparable to other places and are generally affordable. The establishment is clean and tidy and the stuff is very friendly and approachable. However, Noah sets itself apart primarily by taste: it's absolutely delightedly yummy. I sometimes go out of my way in order to pass by them, just to come in and buy a tray of sushi.“

However, I would have liked a bit more meat in the sushi—there was more cucumber and veggies than expected, but it still tasted great. The staff were friendly and accommodating, though we had to ask a couple of times for more wasabi and ginger as they brought very little initially.
