“As a long-time sushi lover, I recommend this place. The fish and ingredients are fresh, and you can really taste the difference in every bite. The sushi was flavorful and well-balanced, with each roll and nigiri made with care. The staff are super friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better.

They also have table seating, which is great if you prefer a sit-down meal setting. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food. One of the most fun surprises was the selection of unique Asian pops and ice creams for dessert—definitely not something you see everywhere.

“We had a wonderful shabu shabu experience at this restaurant and their A5 Wagyu option is definitely a must try. It’s located inside the mall together with Shinta BBQ. Parking is available and they can validate your ticket for two hours. Staff are friendly!“

“I dined in with my boyfriend and friend on Saturday ($45.99/per person) evening around 9:30pm and was notified the kitchen will close at 10:30pm. We would have about 1h to eat as we were really hungry walking in and pretty full after. This is my third time dining at this restaurant location and the beef on the all day menu is my favourite! “Literally a hidden gem since no one really talks or post about it on social media. Spontaneously walked into TAKI Japanese Cuisine for dinner one weekend, and we were so thankful that they were able to take the 2 of us in for omakase dinner at the bar!

They took over the same space as Rin Sushi with the same decor and same layout. The waitresses who served us that evening wore traditional Japanese kimonos; the chef and staff all spoke in Japanese. Food and service were amazing!

“We were craving sushi, and found this little place. We ordered Takoyaki, dynamite roll sushi, and chicken karaage. The takoyaki is a bit salty, maybe because it has too much sauce, but the Chicken Karaage and dynamite sushi was really good! Overall, I would highly recommend this place! “A surprisingly legendary AYCE sushi restaurant up in Woodbridge.

Came here with my friends on a weeknight for the all you can eat option. Total ended up being around 40 dollars per person with cash discount.

Sushi and sashimi quality were fantastic. Everything tasted fresh, and my favorites were definitely the hug roll and the salmon sashimi.

I'm not sure if it was because the restaurant wasn't super busy or something, but the food just kept COMING. One of the only places that won't rate limit you either. If you order 40 pieces of sashimi, you're getting 40 pieces.

If I was ever in the area and wanted sushi, I'd definitely come back. I'm really hoping this experience wasn't just a one-time thing -- super rare to find gold standard AYCE sushi!“

“Ordered takeout from this place on a weekday. The resto occupies the spot that Apron Cafe used to sit in.

My order was ready in 15-20 min. Walked in and was greeted warmly by the hostess who handed me my food.

I ordered a yuzu miso pork loin and an okonomiyaki.

The pork was crispy and juicy. The miso sauce was great! I get very similar vibes between this place and Katsuya. The menus also look VERY similar.

Okonomiyaki was tasty as well. I liked the fresh salad on top.

Overall, food quality was excellent! I do think it was quite pricey though for the quantity of food. Prolly wouldn't be a regular because of the price.

Will return to try some of their other katsu flavours!“

Fast takeout with easy ordering and a well written menu with good photographs of the item. The fish is the perfect temperature and the rice is flavorful. The presentation dining in is beautiful and the take out also looks good and sapporo sushi always provides a fair serving of soya, ginger, and wasabi.“

“It was our first time visiting this place, and my friend and I picked it completely by chance. We looked at the reviews, saw a 4.5 rating, and thought, okay, that sounds great. Even though it was late at night around 9:30 PM, the server was extremely kind and welcoming, and even let us sit on the patio.

Our food came very quickly, and the most impressive part of this restaurant was how genuinely nice and friendly the staff were. A lovely young lady named Kiin was incredibly sweet, polite, and patient. She kept checking on us with such kindness. Another young server, a guy, was just as amazing, and they both made our experience a hundred times better.

It was a rainy evening, but thanks to them we had such a wonderful time. Our sushi came fast, was very fresh, and tasted excellent. Everything was just perfect. I even asked for the young lady’s name so I could mention her here, because she truly made our night special.

“It is nice small sushi joint. Service is good. Front ladies are nice.4 star because of rice they are using is not sushi rice. If you look closely, their rice grain is long as opposed to short rice grain. Also rice used for sushi is not fresh --> dry, little hardPrice is ok.“

“The quality of the food at this restaurant is well beyond anything you would expect in the suburbs. The fish tastes fresh and the rice is high quality sushi rice. Generally you have to head to downtown to get sushi/sashimi that tastes this good.
The service is suburb, they actually make you feel like you matter and that you are at a friends house.
Finally, for the quality of the food the prices are more than reasonable.
I also like that I can get Soju at this restaurant as I prefer it with sushi to Sake.

“Had dinner here today. They take reservations! Our server was lovely. She was friendly and attentive and helpful.
I ordered two massive rolls. Each piece was huge. I either, stuffed the whole thing in my mouth and chewed while looking like a hamster or took 1 bite first and everything else just fell all over the place lol. Not a complaint though!
Both my rolls were yum. I was very happy with my food. Their miso soup is good too. Hubby ordered one roll and ate some of mine. I left feeling satisfied!

“I read the reviews on this place and I really don’t understand the negative ones . Its funny how people are so quick to post negative comments instead of quietly addressing their complaints to the establishment. Its like any other service they can’t fix if you dont say something.

We frequent this place a few times a year at all times during the day and evening .never had a bad experience.

“I have been coming to this place for almost 5 years now. Love their miso ramen. It’s really tasty! Their takeout packing is very sturdy and good as well.
I noticed within last year that the quality of the noodles have degraded, I feel that they refrigerate their noodles and they are not made on the they of, doesn’t look and taste fresh. You can actually see the noodles being bunched up and frozen.

“This review deserves to a be a lot higher. The low reviews confuse me, maybe there are quality issues in off or later hours but this lunch is delicious. Fresh veggies, lots of protein and smothered in their awesome sauce just how I remember it. Is it a little pricier? Sure compared to like McDonalds, but the food makes you feel good and fills you up in the right way. I get the Hot and Spicy chicken with extra chicken. I have convinced my boss recently to take our entire team here and everyone has had a pleasant experience.

Just keep in mind, the ordering is a fairly quick process so know what you want, your protein, sauces and add ons. I always double the protein.

Things can get a little expensive, again compared to what. It is all expensive and this is cheap for the big bowl you get. Lunch has a busy in and out crowd which seems to be consistent. Pumps with work life and energy during the week. Overall a solid 5.

I miss the teriyaki of old. they all seem to be one-off restos with a disjointed corporate franchise focus. They are EXTREMELY inconsistent location by location. (the corporation I mean.)“
