“Saw this place on TikTok late at night and booked it on impulse, no regrets.

There were three lunch omakase options available that day, and we went with the sashimi nigiri lunch. The course started with miso soup, followed by a sashimi appetizer, then 8 pieces of nigiri and a temaki. We even got ice cream at the end. It doesn’t look like a lot, but it was surprisingly filling.

The omakase was served in a separate room that seats around 10 people (I think?). Service was attentive throughout, servers constantly checked in to make sure everything was okay and we enjoyed every part of the experience, even the lady at the door was super friendly. At $55, it’s an insane deal. No super high-end fish obviously, but the experience and setting alone make it more than worth it. Highly recommend!!“

“Cotolet is my go to spot for Japanese pork cutlet. Always consistently amazing with very light flaking on the cutlets. All the sauces are awesome and tasty. Would definitely recommend coming if you're in the mood for some comfort food!“

“Treat yourself to a warm sushi hug.

We’d been to Hug Sushi’s OG location years ago and finally tried this dine-in spot. Now I wish we’d come sooner! The all-you-can-eat dinner features their well-balanced house special sushi and are decently small allowing you to try more variety.

We enjoyed the hug roll (a salmon avocado roll topped w/ torched salmon + ikura), the crazy roll (with a mound of crabmeat), a BBQ eel roll and even a honey mustard roll for fun that somehow works. Other good picks were the spider roll featuring soft shell crab and the scallop sushi. The sashimi here is thick cut like it should be so you can taste real fresh umami flavours.

We were too intrigued by their sushi selection to try much else. However, grilled shrimp skewers were crisp & well-seasoned and the mango shrimp & salmon salads were refreshing starters. Tempuras were decent as well. For dessert, they have mango sago and deep fried milk which is rare for AYCE sushi but matches another good nearby spot in Maple. Everything arrived quickly.

So what’s the verdict? We’ll definitely be back again at Hug Sushi. Just overlook the lack of interior tidiness and you’re bound to enjoy too!“

“We love this sushi spot! Every order is fresh, beautifully packaged, and you can really taste the care and passion in every bite. We order here often—as you can see from the collection of photos I’ve amassed—and I can honestly say they’ve been consistent every single time. Their wasabi is made fresh, just like their sushi.

Our daughter has been eating sashimi since she was two, and I’ve never had any concerns about the quality of the fish from this place. Her absolute favorite is the salmon ikura don, and she also loves the little octopus in one of the Inari pockets. We order so often that they even know our usual takeout (D2 and S5, with the occasional Inari Gunkan), and they recognize it instantly when my husband calls in. We’ve dined in a couple of times as well, and the staff are so friendly and warm that we felt right at home.

After a long week, it’s our go-to Friday treat. It’s always a joy to bring their sushi home, and it feels like a little bit of love is packed into every box.“

“I almost don’t want to tell the public about how insanely good the sushi is here but out of respect to the owners, I must. Fresh sushi and Japanese owed which is hard to find in Toronto (mostly Korean owned). They import their Chu Toro Tuna from Japan and it is exquisite. This is a gem in Toronto, a must try.“

“Kenji Sushi in King City is an absolute gem. The quality and care they put into every dish truly sets them apart.

The hand rolls are exceptional: Fresh, generous, and perfectly balanced. The torched oshi sushi was especially memorable: rich and, flavourful, and executed well. We were also pleasantly surprised that their party trays include oshi sushi, which was a refreshing and welcome change from the typical selections you see elsewhere.

Service was outstanding from start to finish. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and are already looking forward to returning.“

“This is a grab and go takeout spot but honestly the quality surprised me in a good way. I got the Salmon Avocado Plus and the rice to topping ratio was perfect. Everything tasted fresh and super satisfying.
The location is right in front of TD Bank which makes it really easy to stop by and for the price the quality is amazing. I went near the end of the day and it was still fresh and delicious which I did not expect.
The staff and the owners were incredibly nice and welcoming and were smiling the whole time. You can tell they actually care.

I ordered the deluxe set. I enjoyed the dynamite and spicy salmon rolls which came with it. What I didn't like in the deluxe set was the cream cheese rolls, which came as a surprise to me as I ate it.

Some of the items were quite expensive. If I recall correctly, there was a boat for $72 which contained about 36 rolls. $2 per roll is probably not a deal I will take.

The restaurant was clean, but the main problem was the flies. They were flying everywhere and landing wherever they please.

“Food and service here is amazing. The owner came out to talk to us, and he was very friendly and accommodating. Since it was Chinese new year, he personally made us a vegan claypot rice (not on the menu) which turned out to be very smokey and flavour rich, in spite of our multitude of Chinese new year dietary restrictions (no eggs, no garlic, no onions, light oil, etc. ). That soy sauce that came with it was something special.

The sashimi was large, and very fresh. Very happy with the portions. As was the edamame and seaweed salad. The miso soup was not too salty, and you could taste the dashi and a hint of sweetness. It was good.

The Eel dragon roll came with not too much rice (forgot to take a picture because of how fast I ate it), but was very good and had a good ratio of avocado, shrimp, and eel.

“The staff are always really friendly, which makes eating in feel relaxed and welcoming. The sashimi is usually pretty decent and fresh, though a couple of the salmon pieces were a bit stringy on this visit.

The chirashi don was the standout for me – for around $24, the portion and quality were totally worth it. I also order from this place a lot on Uber Eats and the food is consistently good when it arrives. Overall, a solid neighborhood sushi spot that I’m happy to keep going back to.“

“I am a big sushi lover and have been to many Japanese restaurants and take out places everywhere. I am so confident to say , Noah kosher sushi has been the best one so far. I am not kosher or Jewish but if I were to have sushi, this is the place to go. Their ingredients are very fresh ( omg i wonder where they get their avocados.... The most creamy and so flavorful avocados ever !!) , sometimes make me wonder if theyd make any profits cause their ingredients and qualities of foods are outstanding! “I have been coming to this place for almost 5 years now. Love their miso ramen. It’s really tasty! Their takeout packing is very sturdy and good as well.
I noticed within last year that the quality of the noodles have degraded, I feel that they refrigerate their noodles and they are not made on the they of, doesn’t look and taste fresh. You can actually see the noodles being bunched up and frozen.
Overall I like the taste of their ramen soup.“
