“We truly enjoyed a leisurely lunch today at Kelsey's Richmond Hill. We need to give a lot of the credit and thanks to our server, Sarah, who was always there when we needed her. She provided us with some excellent suggestions for food and drinks as well as impeccable service coming from a warm and friendly person. While my wife was thoroughly enjoying a cup of tea and a hearty soup with salad and a sandwich, I was just beside myself with every bite of the mushroom melt burger. The burger and fries were prepared and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend that you try this burger, especially if you love mushrooms. Treat yourself. I was also introduced to a delicious refreshing beer called Muskoka Pineapple Ninja. I've never seen it before and it appears that if I can't find anywhere else I'll have to go back. All in all, this was a perfect afternoon. Also, we have promised ourselves that we are going to do this again next week.”

Our server was Zoran and he gave us maximum level attention and care. Our food, I ordered wings and fries and my friend ordered chicken sandwich and fries, was hot and delicious. Our desserts were delightful. Thank you very much, Zoran for your excellent service and thanks to the chefs for the great Swiss Chalet food. It was a perfect dining experience and we are both so grateful.”

The 2 person combo was so much food at such a good price it came with 2 bowls of noodles, skewers, 2 pops and an appetizer for $34.99. They don’t skimp on the portions. Food arrived hot and tasty. The service is what really makes this spot stand out though. Sunny is my favourite waiter and she’s the best. She’s always welcoming, always on top of everything, and makes you feel like a regular every single time you come in. You can tell she genuinely cares about the customers and the experience.

There were three lunch omakase options available that day, and we went with the sashimi nigiri lunch. The course started with miso soup, followed by a sashimi appetizer, then 8 pieces of nigiri and a temaki. We even got ice cream at the end. It doesn’t look like a lot, but it was surprisingly filling.
The omakase was served in a separate room that seats around 10 people (I think?). Service was attentive throughout, servers constantly checked in to make sure everything was okay and we enjoyed every part of the experience, even the lady at the door was super friendly. At $55, it’s an insane deal. No super high-end fish obviously, but the experience and setting alone make it more than worth it. Highly recommend!!”

First of all, the lovely girl who greeted us when we walked in, SOPHIA (I hope that’s how you spell her name) what a ray of sunshine. She’s so cute, and honestly, talking to her made my evening, seriously.
We later met GISELE, and her social skills are exactly what I would describe as kind and welcoming. She had really good banter, and she was making me laugh. She was cracking funny jokes when I was sad about the lobster and crab dip (srsly guys, why???!?!), and overall, she just had such a good attitude. This is how I want to be treated when I go to a restaurant!!!!!! There were more employees at this restaurant who were so sweet. I didn’t get their names, but literally every person we spoke to was just so amazing.
I am so beyond pleased with how I was treated by your staff. I haven’t had service that good at a Jack Astor’s in a long time.
It’s only giving me an option for 5 stars, but if I could put 10, I would.

Manager Yan is a nice, patient lady. She was helpful and attentive to the details of our wedding banquet planning.
The room is clean, quiet, organized, modern, spacious, with good surrounding sound system, entertainment device, sound proof walls and en-suite bathroom.
The food quality exceeded our expectations as compared to some of the previous reviews. The food is unique with fusion style options, seafood is fresh and delicious. The server, Elyn is nice. She was helpful, attentive to our requests.

This is arguably the best Persian bakery in Richmond hill (as far as I have seen). The biggest bonus is the store’s really kind staff with their always big smiles who always welcome you as you walk in. Their manner is indicative of their high personality. The prices are totally reasonable and fair at great taste and quality. I also noticed that they use natural sourdough when preparing their dough which makes the taste really great from my point of view. Their Halim,kaleh pache 😋SarShir and Shirazi breakfast Âsh 😋😋are both amazing, so do their pastries; pretty much comparable in taste to what you can find back home.”

The restaurant offers an interesting menu, comprising of some authentic, traditional, and hard-to-find Cantonese gems made the dish selection an interesting, fun, and challenging process.
The space was comfortable even for a relatively large group, with well-spaced tables that made the meal feel relaxed and unhurried. Service was polite and attentive throughout.
Starchiva’s dim sum selection was delicious and well balanced, never overly oily or salty. The rice hand rolls, or cheung fun (手拉腸粉), were lightly rolled and delicately wrapped with just the right amount of condiments.
The standout dessert was the brown sugar honeycomb cake (黑糖蜂巢糕)—light, airy, chewy, and honeycomb-like texture, and paired especially well with the rich, smooth Hong Kong milk tea/stocking milk-tea (港式奶茶) taking one to Hong Kong Cha Chaan Teng (cafes).
Overall, a pleasant dinning spot for family or group gatherings, offering well-prepared/presented food, clean and comfortable seating, and attentive service.”

We were able to order right away and our drinks and ice water were brought out.
Our food was brought out fairly quickly, all of it being hot.
Roti is a must order item! The noodles were also very tasty with the shrimp not being overcooked.
Fried chicken was crispy on the outside and nice and juicy inside.
Service was attentive with the servers checking on us every so often and clearing empty plates away.
When we were done eating, the server packed up our leftovers for us instead of just giving us containers.
You can pay by card or cash, but just be advised that they do not accept $100 bills.
Parking was pretty easy to get a spot that wasn't too far from the entrance.”

But once inside, it serves a full menu even for lunch with Specials such as Rack of Lamb and various seafood dishes. We went with a Cesar salad as appetizer, the rack or lamb lunch special and a NY strip, with roasted potatoes, rice, and vegetables. The Cesar salad wss good, fresh and crunchy with just the right amount of dressing. The red wine/vinegarette roasted rack of lamb was flavorful, temp was perfect, good portion size and served hot. It did need a bit more searing and salt but surely something that can be managed when ordering. Overall, a well priced special at above average quality. My counterpart ordered the Angus New York strip and was also satisfied with the temp and flavors. I would personally ask for more sauce to make it even better. He had roasted peppers, rice and vegetables which looked on point as well. As for desserts, we had Tiramisu and Raspberry Tartufo, both were good and well presented. Ignore the name and it's signage, this place has allot more to offer than Pizzas, pastas and Lasagnas, will certainly return to try their other dishes.”

I love the oat fudge bars, vanilla cakes/cupcakes, chocolate cakes/cupcakes, custom cakes, both types of quiche, the scones, brownies, spiced chocolate bar, lattes, drip coffee, cookies...geeze I guess I go there a lot. I haven't even tried everything in the bakery yet. It is a wonderful for breakfast, midday treat and dessert after dinner. I stock up on Sunday to have enough to last me until Thursday morning when the bakery reopens for the week. I am having a very hard time sticking to just one item a day. It is great for school lunch treats because it is a nut free bakery. This is important for school staff and students.”
