“Went here on a day it was pouring rain. My partner and I always try to go to new coffee places in the weekend so it was about time we went here. The seasonal drinks are always the best options I find and they had a good selection here. They also have the classics for coffee if that’s what you one. But the real star is the show is the baked goods here. You must try any of them. The customer service was polite and everything was served in a timely manner.“

“Everything was absolutely amazing at this cafe. I had some baking goods and drinks which was the grapefruit ade, scones, basque cheesecake, and an americano. All of them were very tasty making me eat all of them in seconds by its mesmerizing visual with an amazing taste that was all balanced. Got the breakfast sandwich with egg + sausage, carrot ginger side soup, and a black iced Americano.

The black americano was one of the best I've had, getting a lot of the fruity notes in the coffee without being super bitter.

The sandwich was also one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had. Perfectly stacked and had some sort of jam for the sauce which was tasty, layered on a soft bun with cheese. Looked like a sandwich from an ad.

The only minor gripe I had was the soup was borderline cold/room-temp. But the flavor was still good!“

“Cassava fries are tasty!

Came here and ordered the mini cheese Coxinhas and the Feijoada. We sat in for our meal which takes a bit of time as they make it fresh.

The staff was very friendly in explaining what was on the dish and how to eat what condiment with what. The few Cassava fries you get with the Feijoada were really delicious. They had just the right amount of sweetness … better than yam fries. They were really great in offering us if we needed extra rice or collared greens. I, personally, wasn’t a fan of the collared greens finding them bitter but that’s probably because I’m not used to them. The stew itself was delicious and you get plenty of it.

I’ve had Coxinhas before in the US and these were just as tasty. I prefer the mini size because I find them to be rich so the bite size makes it not such a heavy snack.

“I am a self-proclaimed espresso nerd. Mainly, I brew my own at home and try different beans because a lot of the cafes near me make very underwhelming or outright bad espresso.

Went to Single V finally after meaning to try it for over a year.

One of the best cups I've had in a long time. Really makes my normal shots at home seem bad. Truly great espresso. Bright, juicy, florally, but not acidic or bitter. It was wonderfully balanced with so many enjoyable notes. Croissant was great too, but the coffee was near perfect for me. Will definitely try and return when I'm on the area again!“

“Without fail every time I have stopped in to pick up a muffin, or an almond croissant or anything else I've ordered, I have been really pleased with the quality and care that goes in to the food. It's delicious! The staff are very friendly and are quick to serve you at the counter. If they will be a minute they will let you know. They don't ignore you until they are free. For me the almond croissants are out of this world. I do not hesitate to recommend this little cafe for a quick bite and coffee if you're on Davie Street or nearby. Excellent place.“

“This was our first time in Vancouver and also our first time at a Cannabis cafe'. We cannot say enough wonderful things about our experiences here over our visit. The space is beautiful, filled with art and mirrors. The staff was kind, knowledgeable, and made really great beverages. The quality of the cannabis was (pun fully intended), high. Would 100% recommend this place for anyone looking to have a unique experience in a fantastic city. We are already looking forward to bringing our lifetime memberships back for New Years.“

“I like all the Bean Around the Worlds, but the owner/manager(?) of this one is so nice and is always eager to talk about the drinks and food every time I see him, which makes this location in particular feel special to me. The aesthetic and atmosphere of the place is rustic and very cozy.
I really like all their food, the sandwiches/wraps and the baked goods - there's interesting choices including good vegetarian and vegan options, and they're well-made. And the drinks are just as good - they can do a nice strong tea latte here and this summer they have decaf cold brew!! I can't handle regular coffee on most occasions so I haven't had cold brew in ages and was excited to try this, and it was amazing. Highly recommend for my fellow decaf drinkers!“

After a short wait with my coffee, my meal was ready and the staff member behind the counter informed me that they still had many baked goods from this morning left over (it was 1:30pm) he asked if I would like anything. The doughnuts looked quite tasty so I said that I would have one of those and took out my wallet. He said he wanted to give it to me for free and would not accept my money. I felt bad as I had not tipped for take out. I will definitely return and tip next time to return the favour. Amazing establishment would give it more than five stars if it were possible.“

“I usually have trouble finding a pastry that I can enjoy for a long time. However, about four months ago, I tried an Apricot Crostata at Café Soccavo, and I still remember its delightful taste. I’ve been starting my mornings with an Apricot Crostata, enjoying it every day. It’s incredibly delicious and has a wonderful texture. Recently, for the past two days, they’ve been offering a Peach Crostata. While I like the flavor, the texture of the jam-like topping isn’t quite to my taste.
Crostata with a latte is an unbeatable combination for a tough day.“

“Huge fan of locally run coffee shops and this one is a really nice little one. Their baked goods are great and my partner is a huge fan of their specialty coffees.

As someone who drinks just standard black coffee, I've found their americanos to be a bit on the bitter side, like the water temperature used is a bit too hot and ends up burning the grounds. Not the end of the world as most places in town do the same thing.

“I’ve been there twice. I ordered a crepe and waffle, fresh juice. Those were fire! Especially the waffle was freshly baked and had the right sweetness!

“I was washing clothes in the laundry at the back, and it took an hour to dry them. So I came to this coffee shop and ordered an iced latte and a Huevos Rancheros. It was very delicious? and the environment was very comfortable. The toilets are also kept very clean, and there is a parking lot at the back. “Such a cute cafe hidden away amongst all the housing. They have a beautiful spread of fresh pastries and food ( Savoury and Sweet ) to choose from. Lots of drink options for a pretty reasonable price. They were quick and efficient, and I loved that they knew a lot of the customers by their name. Makes you feel at come.
