Olivia G and Sasha are two of the kindest all around human beings I’ve interacted with. They accommodate for my food allergies every visit. They consistently show up ready to serve at a moments notice. That’s what it takes to be elite. Now for the food. “I ordered takeout and was pleasantly surprised by how good everything was.

The soy chicken and snowy chicken were both delicious and full of flavor. The original fried chicken was a bit bland for my personal taste, but it was still cooked well.

What impressed me most was how crispy the chicken stayed. Even after the 10-minute drive home, the fried chicken was still crunchy and juicy, which isn't always easy to achieve with takeout.

Overall, a great experience, and I'll definitely be ordering again.“

“Randomly came upon The Brighton, walked in and immediately felt a New Orleans vibe which was delightful. A good ole dive bar feeling where one can relax and be yourself. The staff were amazing, specifically Hubert who provided a laid-back vibe and very good conversation while I sat at the bar. Hubert was working hard pouring drinks and making Nachos for a growing mix of ppl coming from the Lamb of God concert. The 2 girls waiting on customers were also pleasant and down to earth. The music was an eclectic mix of old school rock all the way to the 80’s, 90’s and current metal. Loved it! The place was open late with No Pressure to get during last call. If you’re in Vancouver go, see Hubert at The Brighton before or after a concert at the Coliseum, or a drink to sit back and look at all the awesome memorabilia on the walls.“

Outdoor seating can be a bit loud based on where you're seated but we were tucked away in a nice spot.

Had to wait a little bit for our mains but our server Naz had us covered with drinks and her recommendations.

“We really wanted to explore the Gastown side of town, and Yelp led us to this cute spot that did not disappoint. We arrived before sunset and found a cozy table upstairs. The view from the top was so romantic, watching the rain fall as the sun went down.

Our waitress was excellent, especially considering it was her first day. I ordered the fish and chips, and they were absolutely delicious. C got the beef stew, and it was honestly the most flavorful stew I’ve ever had. The bathrooms were cute and clean, and the drinks were made perfectly.

Overall, we highly recommend this place for lunch or an early dinner. The inside has a vintage-esque feel, and we were truly impressed. If you come to this part of town, plan some extra time to look around. Bonus: you can see the cruise ships across the street!“

“Absolutely delicious Burgers! 3 were served at our table. Hollywood, Pub & Block(can’t remember the exact name)
The Teriyaki Wings were enjoyed thoroughly.
1 suggestion: the lettuce wrap pieces were too small to make a proper wrap. A much larger sized lettuce piece(s) is needed Otherwise my guest enjoyed the dish.
A very pleasant server & hostess were very welcoming. Service and plating were excellent

“We were a party of five to celebrate Father's Day this year. I can't believe it took me this long to find this gem of a pub in Kitsilano. The brunch food was delicious, the portions were generous, the prices were very affordable and the server was friendly and attentive. She had a good memory remember our orders. “The Morrissey so kindly allowed me to come in before hours to do a photoshoot with a newly married couple. The vibes were immaculate, they had decked out the place with Christmas decor as the shoot was in December. They were even willing to make us drinks although they hadn't opened yet! The staff was super accommodating and let us do what we wanted in the space. And the photos came out great!“

“So upset I did not find this place before moving to cloverdale from north delta. It’s hard to find a pub that checks every box but this place has it. I got the wings ( of course) they were saucy and cooked to perfection. The blue cheese was the good chunky kind!!I sat by where the food was coming out and every time a meal passed me it smelt unreal. The owner even came out at one point to see how patrons would like a beer he was thinking of bringing in..The staff were on top of every refill and dirty dish. I will drive out from cloverdale to keep coming to this place.“

Clientele are either pleasant or indifferent to your presence and not causing any issues. Pool table is straight and drinks are cheap. I'd recommend to anyone wanting to check out a safe dive. “Our favorite place when we would be stressed with school work! Large patio as well - great for summer hangouts. Super close to wreck beach and foreshore trail. You have to pay first and then they bring food to you. Tipping before even trying the food is a little interesting.“

We were a group of 12 and the service was outstanding.
One of the best burgers Ive had and was impressed with the variety of non alcoholic beer options..
And the virgin Caesar was awesome!
Very happy to sit on the deck by the river which was awesome (until the mosquitos came out, so prepare for that)
Also dog friendly which was cool cause we has several folks with dogs and they added to our fun 😊
I dont eat in restaurants much but I'll definitely be back here for sure..
The burger at the bottom of the menu was just outstanding..

Both really tasty and fulfilling. The drink was a passionfruit smash or something along the lines of that and it was also very good. I could see myself drinking too many of those. Never a good idea. But over all I would Def go back again.“

“Popped in to the Kings Head this afternoon. Our second visit as I am visiting family. Had a great afternoon sat in the sun when the clouds would let us. But no matter as the heaters were on and kept us nice and toasty. Had some great wings & fry’s all washed down with some Cider. Served by Christina who’s new to the role but destined to be management in no time, attentive without being overbearing. And made us feel right at home. Will definitely be back soon… cheers guys“
