“I had a lovely birthday dinner date here, everything, from the food, to the service, to the atmosphere, was amazing. To start we got the peach bellini slush and strawberry aperol sour, both of which were tasty and refreshing, and did not taste like alcohol. For an appetizer, we shared a plate of fried calamari rings, which was scrumptious. The marinara dipping sauce paired well and the acidity cut the greasiness of the oils. Onto the main dishes, the vodka rigatoni was exceptional, and the portion was quite big! I loved the sauce and the small chunks of meat, although I did find the cheese on top a bit strange. The mushroom pizza also tasted great, however, I would probably recommend getting pasta over pizza here, since that seems to be their niche. For dessert, we ordered a tiramisu, which was exceptional, probably the best tiramisu I've had from a restaurant. NOTE: be careful when scooping the first bite, because we both choked on the cocoa powder, which was very funny. Overall, I absolutely loved my experience dining here, and I would love to come back with my girl friends on a night out, I feel like that would be an ultimate vibe. I also want to come check out their happy hour so I can try some of their drinks for $10.“

“Went on a Friday night without a reservation. Put my name on a list and got a table for two after about 45 minutes (consistent with what the host said).

Service was great. Didn’t catch the name of our server but he was helpful during ordering, friendly, and the right level of attentive.

We got 4 dishes, and overall the food was excellent and very reasonably priced given the portion sizes.

Giant meatball (5/5) - amazing, sauce was spot on, very generous portion
Pearled couscous (3.5/5) - a bit underdone and one of the mussels tasted off, otherwise flavor was great
Ossobuco: (4.5/5) - creamy and decadent, would order again
Beet salad (4/5): Not a big beet fan but this was still good, would have liked a bit more goat cheese

Atmosphere was nice and lively. Music and general volume was a touch loud, but not impossible to hold a conversation. This would be a fun place to share a meal with a group of 4-6.“

“We selected this restaurant based on its location but not knowing anything about it. We were very happy with our choice and had an amazing evening. The starters we chose were burrata with beets and carpaccio di crevo. Both were very good. We then had linguine con asttice and upon the server's recommendation, lamb. These dishes were flavorful and beautifully presented. What made the night even better was the fantastic service. Marty from Sudbury was amazing! He made solid food and drink recommendations along with engaging in great conversation. After trying a number of restaurants on College St, this one is our favourite. “Ostaria Giula has the most amazing staff our server was Giancarlo he was super amaziOstaria Giulia hang with great recommendations. He was very knowledgeable about all the food and was able to suggest dishes for food allergies. I was so excited to go to our first Michelin star restaurant to celebrate a birthday and an anniversary. I was hoping to be able to meet Rob Rossi but I didn't just meet him, he was aware of our celebration and he took the time to come and great us .....I am a foodie so I was truly star struck. David Minicucci went above and beyond getting us a perfect table and ensuring we had a wonderful celebration. Thank you all at Ostaria Giulia from the chefs to servers and bar tender and the wonderful sommelier who suggested the perfect wine. We had an amazing time that I will remember forever. BRAVO!!!!!“

Our server Quinn was friendly and efficient and was able to offer his opinion on main dishes we selected. The portions were more than generous and both of us were provided with take away containers. My friend has decided to book a family birthday here later this month. And I plan to return to Trattoria Di Parma early in November with friends who will be visiting from Calgary. Glad we made the choice to turn around. I had the chicken sandwich and my wife the club. The chicken on both was very good and the service fantastic as well. The salad we got with the sandwiches were fresh and relish.

Everything from booking the event to the night of went smoothly and the staff went above and beyond to make it memorable.
