“One of the more popular HK cafes in Markham.
There's always a line but at times it moves quickly.
No frills, simple, hearty and affordable HK Cafe food.
They've got various breakfast set meals, lunch along with dinner.
I ended up having *C* in their breakfast menu that included bacon, eggs, bread and a bowl of beef satay noodles.“

“Very good claypot rice. The soups are not delivious but are very nutritious. Claypot rice takes at least 20 minutes to cook - I heard the next table order ahead via phone and got their meals quicker.
The service is so bad it is laughable. Just enjoy the food and don't expect the staff to smile or do anything basically.“

“We had dinner at 1 o'clock on a free day. It tasted good. My mother didn't like it and she had to clear the plate after eating.
Vegetarian options: Arhat
Parking: It’s hard to find a table during meal time, so we recommend coming early“

“For a take out place in a plaza food court? This place is good! Solid, consistent, and good value for the price.
I always get their party trays for family gatherings, it's good value and tastes great!
When kids feel like a quick weekend lunch or dinner this place checks the box - everyone is satisfied. Shared Rice and noodle dishes Cantonese style, 👍🏻. If ordering party trays i recommend calling ahead. Also if ordering take out dinner sets. For individual meals, they cook it up pretty fast“

“To each their own the vibe could be unpleasant to some as it's noisy and seemingly chaotic, but it's this exact Canto vibe that makes this restaurant truly authentic. We ordered razor clam (among many off-menu but seasonal items), free-range chicken and other dishes and NONE disappointed. This restaurant is known for its "wok hei", seafood and the variety selection, at a very reasonable price. Service wise, well, if you speak perfect Canto and order efficiently they wouldn't give you hard time but otherwise no guarantees. I had seen many negative reviews on waitress's attitude issues but that's just typical "HK cafe style" culture; if you know you know. All in all 10/10.“

“It is my first time to visit this Hong Kong style cafe/restaurant although I know it has been there a long time. A good surprise that the food quality is excellent. Very tasty, not oily, even the drinks are very good, Hong Kong style milk tea and the iced lemon tea are the best among similar restaurants. The only limitation is due to the smaller space, the tables are close to each other. I have also heard that this place is very busy during the regular lunch and dinner time, so maybe you will have to wait for a table.
Parking: This is a busy plaza especially on weekends, will take some time to find a parking spot“

“This salt-baked chicken is so delicious! ! !At first, I didn’t have a clear understanding of the difference between shredded chicken.Ordered a direct cut?Slightly salty, it’s just delicious boiled chicken! The flavorful one! Very fresh! good smell! Special meal! The chicken breasts were very tender and not stale at all. Just eat it with green onion and ginger soul sauce and you can really enjoy two bowls of rice.-Today I ordered hand-shredded chicken and salt-baked chicken. They will actually cut it for you on the spot?, tear it on the spot, season it, and toss it??The chicken breast is still very tender, moist and tasty.Chicken skin is crispy and not greasyI am so in love with you that I must give everyone my blessing! ! ! ! !“

“Not bad not bad. There's wokhei, will come back to try other dishes. Ample parking, ample seating, looks great after the reno. The space now is split up where one side is the cafe, other is mala soup. The service people are nice and kind.
We came only because Ming's was under reno... We came to this location a long long time ago and found it to be subpar, long waits for food, service people with attitudes etc. Now that we've tried this place now, Ming's and Joy Noodle - JN is the most subpar imo.“

“It's an interesting experience with the conveyor belt system, where you can get most of the staples like veggies, fish balls, some seafood, mushrooms, etc. Unfortunately, nothing is labelled, so unless you know what you're looking at or are brave enough to try something new, some of the dishes circling around will remain mysteries. The meat was brought directly to your table by staff, and they were attentive enough for us to ask for more several times, and for them to refill our broth. I did like how each person had an individual soup, though it did mean each person had to pay $5-$8 dollars more. Overall, it was something new and fun to try once, but if you took away the conveyor belt, it'd be at best considered average for the price.
Vegetarian options: Has some veggie options, not as much as some other hotpot restaurants.
Parking: Don't bother trying to find parking above ground when it's busy, go into the underground, you'll find a spot much faster.“

“Dim sum with more innovative options, surprisingly no egg tarts so we had layered papaya cake for dessert instead. We tried shrimp dumplings with chives and pomegranate but didn't taste pomegranate. There are the usual classics like har gow, rice rolls, etc. For three people with tax and tip, we had about 7 dishes, $60 on a weekend.“

“Ate here for two days in a row. My son likes the sauce-flavored buns the most, my daughter likes the classic beef noodles the best, and I like the fried buns with fresh meat the best. The service sister is also very enthusiastic. Even if she is very busy, she is very patient in serving. I will come often in the future.“
