“We visited for lunch so the selection was a bit limited but I presume the dinner menu has a greater variety at a higher price. Overall the food quality was great for a AYCE. Sushi tasted fresh and fish was at the correct temperature. Great little spot overall“

“A little place in Langham Square if you crave Japanese food. It's mostly a takeout place with a little corner where you can squeeze in and sit to eat.
The food itself was good. The fish were fresh. Most pieces were common fish. The size of the dishes were not that big.
I ordered the salmon and ikura don while my friend ordered the chirashi don. Both were OK.
I would go back if nearby. But likely try other sushi places first where it's dine in.“

“Had the Tasting Menu for the second time, and it was really fantastic. Beautiful fresh sashimi and sushi. With delicately flavoured specialties. And then miso black cod which I love.
The presentation was very nice. The service was good and I really like the decor. There is also an extensive menu that looks great.
Will definitely go again next time I'm in town!“

“SushiOne was a decent choice for dinner.
Food 🍣: 7/10⭐
I ordered the deluxe set. I enjoyed the dynamite and spicy salmon rolls which came with it. What I didn't like in the deluxe set was the cream cheese rolls, which came as a surprise to me as I ate it.
Service ♥️: 8/10⭐
Nothing bad about the service.
Service speed 🐢: 5/10
The food came after about 25-30 minutes
Price 💰💰💰: 4/10
Some of the items were quite expensive. If I recall correctly, there was a boat for $72 which contained about 36 rolls. $2 per roll is probably not a deal I will take.
Atmosphere 🪰: 4/10
The restaurant was clean, but the main problem was the flies. They were flying everywhere and landing wherever they please.
Not sure if I will come back.“

“The staff are always really friendly, which makes eating in feel relaxed and welcoming. The sashimi is usually pretty decent and fresh, though a couple of the salmon pieces were a bit stringy on this visit.
The chirashi don was the standout for me – for around $24, the portion and quality were totally worth it. I also order from this place a lot on Uber Eats and the food is consistently good when it arrives. Overall, a solid neighborhood sushi spot that I’m happy to keep going back to.“

“The restaurant, service and food at this restaurant was good. However the only downside is that the customers are literally asked to pay a tip. During this difficult period of the pandemic, it is hard to leave a tip. It should be optional but if you do not tip, you are sort of asked "why no tip". This becomes odd and the customer should be given the discretion to tip. This is the reason, I am giving 4 stars to this restaurant.“

“My girlfriend and I had decided to try this Korean-Japanese restaurant nearby. We received excellent customer service, and the food was great as well. James was such a very friendly, polite, and professional employee. I felt like I was treated well—one of the best customer services I have experienced. I would highly recommend this restaurant.“

“I searched omakase online and saw this restaurant. Walking distance from Lawrence station and I decided to give it a try.
A little restaurant. 3 customers including me, only the chef is running around and serving us. No other staffs.
$115 for the omakase. The fish is very fresh and tasty. I also have wine pairing $36 for 4 glasses. The price is very reasonable for the omakase on Yonge Street.“

“Brought my daughter and a friend here in two separate occasions, and the food presentation, quality of sushi and the whole atmosphere are one of the best in town. It’s definitely a nice cozy place to enjoy such good meal from appetizer to main dish of sashimi or variety of sushi. I’ve ordered the lover’s salmon and yes, it’s bittersweet 🌸 a Japan 🇯🇵 experience that you’ll always treasure. Highly recommended this place 24/7 and savour every moment and don’t leave without having the green tea and mango ice cream as well. 💕✨🍵“

“I recently tried Qoo Sushi in the same plaza as Royal Car Wash, and I was so impressed! From the moment I walked in, the place had a cozy and welcoming vibe. The staff were super friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was just right with my order.
I ordered a sushi platter for takeout, and honestly, the presentation alone was beautiful—it looked fresh, colorful, and appetizing. Every piece of sushi was perfectly rolled and tasted so fresh. The fish was tender and high-quality, the rice had just the right texture, and the flavors were well-balanced. I especially loved their spicy rolls with just the right kick, and the nigiri melted in my mouth. Even the wasabi and ginger tasted fresh, which really elevated the whole experience.
What I really appreciate is that they pack the food neatly, so even takeout feels like a restaurant experience. The portion sizes are generous for the price, and you can really taste the quality in every bite.
If you’re craving sushi in Scarborough, Qq Sushi is a hidden gem! Whether it’s for dine-in or takeout, I’d highly recommend them—you’ll definitely leave satisfied and wanting to come back again.“

“The quality of the food is fantastic. I had salmon teriyaki for the main and deep-fried soft shell crab for the starter. The main came with rice and miso soup. Everything is good. Didn't wait that long for lunchtime. I'd come again to try some more dishes.“

“There are at least 5 sushi restaurants within 5 minutes drive for this area. First time try Kitano, there are many takeaway customers more than dine in at Sunday night. The restaurants is clean and seat comfortable. Sushi are fresh and the Udon noodles are tasty. The pork katsu are crispy. We will try their takeaway again for gathering.“

“This was our first time at Takumi and we are pretty happy with this place. We order a platter and tempura appy. The restaurant didn’t look busy but there were a lot orders coming in for delivery or pick up. The platter took longer than we hoped but it is Friday night. We have been noticing that orders coming in take precedent over orders taken from customers dining in.
Overall, the fish was very fresh and the sashimi was cut generously. We enjoyed ourselves and will probably come back.“

“Such a cute, little spot tucked away in the heart of several beautiful neighbourhoods! The sushi was extremely fresh and the owners were honestly so kind and hospitable. The prices here are definitely on the higher end but honestly, the quality of the sushi, sashimi and even the miso soup made it feel all worth it! Everything tasted clean, fresh and truly made with intention. They even surprised us with matcha ice cream at the end of our lunch, which was so sweet and thoughtful. It was a slow Friday afternoon and it turned out to be genuinely an amazing experience. I left so happy, full and wanting to come back to support them again! Definitely a lovely local sushi hub, thank you for such a warm experience, can’t wait to be back!“

“Their servings of food are not just instagramable it's deliriously fresh, clean, and worth every bucks.
Service is great, as well as the ambiance. We were given a separate room that four to six people fits.
We ordered soft shell crab that superbly met the cravings we've been looking for. The bowl of sashimi is great to share with four people together with other food items you decide to order with.
You'll never go wrong with all the dishes they offer.
You'll enjoy coming over by yourself with friends, family, and special loved ones. Must put in to one of your must to go to place to celebrate and hang out with.“

“Huge portions! The cashier lady seems pretty welcoming and well mannered. I was wondering why she gaved me a bag to bring the food home and now I understand why.
Tried this place for the very first time and really glad I did. I think the owner wants to serve customers that cater to a tight budget, much respect for them.
15$ meal.
The sushi is pretty good, lots of rice. The chicken strip katsu taste like it's mostly batter and not much meat but i'm not complaining.“

“High quality and tasty sushi and poke place. Impressive presentation and excellent food. Very fast service. I am reducing 1 start just because of the menu access. The menu is only available through scanning a bar code, and the web page is not even mobile friendly so it makes it hard to explore. User-friendly and accessible menu should be the second priority (coz 1st priority is for the food itself).
Overall it's worth trying. I guarantee that you will be hooked. The food is really good.“

“I don't usually eat sushi, but this place knocked my socks off.
I ordered the Beto Box dinner which came with 2 pieces of shrimp and 2 pieces of salmon each resting on a bite sized mound of rice; thin slices of teriyaki chicken over vegetables; a healthy portion of white rice; 2 spring rolls and sliced orange fruit. It was all very well prepared and had wonderful flavors.
Next time I am in Toronto, I will be paying a visit to explore the other treasures on the menu.“

“Such a gem of a place! The owner and the staff are always so sweet (this is my 8th time coming to this place in the last 2 months). The food is always on point; rice is freshly cooked, salmon and the seafood is soo good. This place has beat every single sushi place I’ve been to in Toronto, by far!!“

“I’ve visited many sushi restaurants because I genuinely love sushi, but I’ve never found a place that compares to Mineshishi in Toronto. The food is incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the chef’s attention to detail really shows in every piece.
Even though it’s a bit of a drive from my home, I still choose to come here whenever I want *proper* sushi — it’s always worth the trip. Every time I walk in, I feel truly welcomed, and the service is consistently warm and attentive.
If you’re looking for exceptional sushi with amazing hospitality, this is the place. I can’t recommend it enough!“

“It's a family run business (I think) who are really sweet and very kind - I believe they are Japanese.
The taste is great my favorite of all times is the Sakura Roll, the cream cheese taste in the sushi with everything else on it (crap meat, lots of salmon, avocado, asparagus, cucumber) is just heaven. It's also deep fried. Many other special rolls options are available. I love the tampura shrimp and the yam - so good!
I highly recommend this restaurant.
The service is always great. I've been there three times but I regularly order through Uber Eats and Dashdoor. They gave me complimentary tea, water and Miso Soup 🍲.
Parking is always available every time I visit. Location is perfect.“

“Wow! What a fantastic find! This was my first visit, and it honestly exceeded my expectations. The sushi and sashimi were exactly like what I've had in Japan, truly authentic and delicious. We enjoyed the calm, relaxing atmosphere. We loved the food so much that after our omakase set (sashimi and sushi), we ordered three additional a la carte sets! The beer was served in ice-cold mugs and pitchers, which was perfect, and the recommended sake pairing was spot-on. A big thank you to our server for being incredibly kind and making our experience so pleasant, and to the chef for the amazing food. I highly recommend this to everyone, especially my fellow Koreans—you'll absolutely love it!“

“Never been to the place, this review is for Skip delivered order. Sushi tray looked, smelled and tasted great. Fish was fresh, rice too. Tempura just right, didn't even get soggy while on its way to us. Looking forward to eat in one day.
P.S. I was just reading other reviews and it reminded me to also mention it. This place open late! Its so good and convenient. I had to really look, other usual places were already closed. Thank you.“

“I did put it in my Google map collections long time before but Markham too far from me so didn’t get any chance eat here. Last Saturday my bestie also her friends we four had a dinner together. Her friend is picky about sashimi quality but saw other people said this store was the best in GTA. So finally I got a chance had a try. We arrived at 6pm but many many people there. Already showing Uni and All Tuna out of stock. And we wait long time to get inside order. It was continue full of customers so we could only wait outside. (I hate the bees outside, so scary!)
Surprised by it was really so popular, haven’t thought could be so crowded, have to wait to order for at least one hour? Luckily we had more time chatting! I ordered 5 different kinds of Sashimi. No need to mention it’s fresh definitely based on its reputation. And I have to say, I really like their ginger! The best ginger I’ve ever eaten in any Japanese restaurant. Strong flavor and a bit spicy, not pure sweet. Also their wasabi was good and strong as well! Since I live so far, bought their Matcha and Genmai-cha, happy to see these Japanese products! Lovely.
(The environment seems like fast food, my bestie said just like McDonald, just soso but understandable)“

“What an incredible find! I recently had the pleasure of ordering from Ren's Sushi and was blown away by the quality. I called ahead to order a Green Dragon roll and some torched salmon sushi, and everything was ready for me to pick up right on time.
The sushi itself was a masterpiece—each piece was so fresh, expertly crafted, and absolutely delicious. The flavors were vibrant, and you could tell how much care went into making them.
The service was also top-notch. The owners were so friendly and welcoming when I came to pick up my order. It's clear they take great pride in their restaurant and their food. On top of the great food and service, the prices are incredibly reasonable, which is a huge plus. I also learned they provide sushi for school lunches, which is such a fantastic idea.
Ren's Sushi is definitely my new go-to spot. I highly recommend it if you're looking for high-quality, fresh, and delicious sushi served with a smile. Thanks“

“I rate this 4.5 stars out of 5. The food was on point and the serving size were sufficient. The bento boxes came with the main item, glass noodles, sweet potatoes and roll. We miss the side salad that they used to provide.
We ordered the bento boxes of chicken teriyaki box, roll box, tempura box and salmon box. All were flavorful and definitely enough for a person.
The service was good and the servers were always nice to us. The interior design was nice but there are already a good number of new restaurants which have fresh modern design atmosphere. They should consider updating their interior.
Overall, the food was excellent, service was great and atmosphere was good. Since we always come back to this restaurant, we will definitely be back.“

“The fish is the freshest I’ve ever had and I’ve been eating sushi/sashimi for 20yrs! This is comparable to high end omakase restaurants. The flavour of the fish stood out too, sometimes I’ve had fresh but not flavourful fish at other places but here, you get both. The rice to fish ratio was perfect as well. The wasabi and ginger are real and also very yummy. I’ve been twice, looking forward to trying the Markham location.“

“We felt like getting sushi takeout and was going to be in the area so thought we'd give this place a try.
Value-wise, I think the prices were very good. It was a decent amount of food with good variety (for a 40 pc sushi/sashimi/rolls tray) along with some of their seasonal mango-inspired sushi. It wasn't the best sushi I've had, but for the price, I think it's very good. (The mango rolls kinda fell apart on the car ride home hence why it looks that in way the pics.)
Overall I think this place is worth a revisit.“
