“Visited vegetarian restaurant Bo Tree today, and I highly recommend it. The carrot purree soup is a nice surprise, which is not our typical combo soup. Fancier, in a good way. The Japanese "chicken" Katsu is prepared with Japanese rice, with very fluffy eggs. The curry is flavorful and better than some of those I have tried in authentic Japanese restaurant. The"chicken" is chewy, and surprisingly resembled the real counterpart. The dumplings udon is a good choice for comfort food. The menu has a huge selection, and I would definitely go back again to try their other dishes. Their fish and chips will be the next on my radar.“

“We hired My Sweetie Pie to be the dessert at our wedding in place of a wedding cake. They were absolutely incredible! it was such a lovely alternative for our wedding (we're not huge cake people). Everybody loved the pies! With our order, we also got small to-go containers so our guests could take the leftovers and it was a huge hit! My Sweetie Pie made the delivery process so easy and worked into our special day seamlessly. Good people, great pie, and overall a fantastic local business. Thanks so much, My Sweetie Pie!“

“This place has been one of my fav spot in Markham when I’m craving for decent Japanese food without feeling so uptight like an omakase restaurant.

You get to lick your own sake glass and they carry a decent amount of sake options, many of which you cannot find at LCBO.

We enjoyed our dishes and I don’t even get to take pictures for all of them cause they are all awesome and we can’t wait to eat!

Table side torch saba is also a hit!

My friend noticed that the food was too creamy, and he offered to take it back to the chef, but she declined. “This place has been our go-to Korean restaurant for over a year now — we eat here every single week, sometimes even twice. The food is consistently delicious with rich, bold flavors and high-quality ingredients. It never disappoints.

Our must-order dishes every time? The stir-fried squid and pork, and the pork bone soup — absolutely packed with flavor. But honestly, every single dish we’ve tried has been amazing.

We’ve brought so many friends here, and without fail, they all end up becoming regulars too. The vibe is super relaxed and comfortable — perfect for family meals or casual dinners with friends.

“Arrived slightly before 12PM with my girlfriend and managed to get our names first on the waitlist. Promptly after, it started getting packed with tons of people signing up for the waitlist. Was very surprised to see how busy it was on a Wednesday afternoon at opening.

We both went for the $26.99 AYCE lunch special. Soup bases are included in the price and you can choose up to 2 different bases. Items to choose from were a bit limited from a protein perspective, but we were more than happy to inhale beef brisket slices and seafood. Veggies and sides were great too. Ice cream cone at the end was great and the perfect way to end the meal. Wasn’t the biggest fan of the Hokkaido pudding.

Service was exceptional. Staff members were very attentive, consistently topping up our soup pots, pouring water for us, and getting our food orders. Seating time is limited to 1 hour and 45 minutes. Ample time in my opinion.

Overall, we really enjoyed our time at Daimaru. I highly recommend it, especially for their lunch special. We both ate for just under $60 including a tip!“

“Kagayum is a great place in North York to eat and drink. It’s open late so if you’re looking for late night eat and drinks, this is the place to be!

Food is pretty good and everything on their menu is HALAL! That’s a really big pro that you don’t see in many restaurants.“

“I will recommend this restaurant to my friends, first it’s actually ran by Korean people ❤️, second they are truly attentive (the girl notice we were putting the empty side dishes away and she came right up to check if we wanted more. We felt very comfortable eating there), third their food is good, and serving time is also very good . We waited for about 5 minutes after our order, our food was brought to us one after one.

The only thing I noticed is it’s a bit dark in it. And it could be my aged eyes 👀 as well.
