“I've only tried the combos and they taste great!! Using delivery, the food always arrives hot and fresh. It's full of flavour and the General Tao's chicken is just right on the spice level. Love the veggies and the rice contains bits of real chicken. This is my go-to for Canadian-Chinese food in the city. I prefer authentic Chinese food but this tastes good too.🥠🥡“

“Best Chinese food I’ve had in a long long time. I had comb. Plate #4. There were big chunks of chicken in the chicken balls and the garlic spare ribs were the most tender, meat falling of the bones. Thank you.“

“Got the special for 2-3 people. Peking duck pretty good. I think the deep fried duck wings were meh - too oily and it's just bones. Veggies I liked very much. Braised fish was overcooked and tough. Lobster noodles ok too. A bit pricey for the mixed quality, but it's the only real Chinese food option in the area, especially when you have Chinese parents. I recommend ordering a la carte for whatever you feel like vs the special set.“

“The dumplings are tasty. It is a long wait. They do not take names so you have to stand there for 40 minutes in the cold to be seated. It would be better if they took numbers and called when it was time to be seated. Overall the food was good, and if it is warm outside it is worth the wait.“

“Love it here. Convenient location on campus and my favourite food at uOttawa. Very nice people with friendly service (plus John will help you practice your Mandarin if you ask nicely). There’s a wide menu with clean and consistent cooking and dietary accommodations. Quick for takeout and has nice tables in the summer.“

“On average we get take out from Sula Wok once per week. We love the food and the vibe of the place. (Sula and her gang are also very nice to deal with). I really like the traditional Pad Thai. Recently, Sula asked that I try a slightly new version of the dish (apparently less fishy). Sula asked that I let her know if I liked it or not. “I’ve been coming here for a couple of years now, and it’s always been a great experience. It’s a small family-run restaurant serving Northern Vietnamese food, and the quality is amazing. The pho and rice dishes are delicious every time.

I usually get the 3-meat combo, but substitute the pork for extra chicken and beef instead. Their vegetarian spring rolls are also one of my favorites, and I always order a small pho broth on the side to sip on as I eat my meal.

Friendly service, authentic food, and consistently great flavors. 10/10 recommend!“

“Love these guys. Typical Chinese-Canadian food, have been ordering the combo F for over a decade. Food is simple, but very tasty. Also, years ago (before uber eats and all that), I was actually missing a buck or two (mistake on my part, didn't count my money right like a first year university student that can't handle his liquor quite yet) and their delivery guy was nice enough to give me the food anyways. “This is just a take out place so the atmosphere can only be so good.
The service is just fine, they even bend over backwards to serve you quickly.
What I like the most is maybe just a detail, but I think it's important; The chicken balls use consistently nice white breast meat that has no gristle or weird texture.
The deep frying is not greasy at all.
Some of the options are very 'normal' but that's fine with me. Chinese food is comfort food, and I happen to like the regular offerings a lot.
What's nice though is their more traditional dishes are quite nice indeed for a little takeout place.
At this point, I'd say they are my favorite spot in Gatineau for takeout. I know quite a few dine-in places that are nowhere close to this good and consistent.“

“Everything is simply awesome. The menus are simple, with a lot if options. The service is very polite and friendly (and online ordering is a big plus), food is delivered very promptly (one time it was 15 minutes early!). The food portions are generous, but quality is not sacrificed for quantity. What's a cool plus is that they use a mix of Styrofoam and reusable plastic containers (not only better for storage but a little less wasteful). I have only eaten 3 times from here, but have been very happy all times. The fried rice, general tao chicken, chicken balls, and egg rolls (among like 5 others I've tried) have all tasted great. Definitely think I've found my new Chinese delivery / take out place!“

“Good food, good service. Cozy atmosphere. Hours are pretty good, they are open late on Friday and Saturday evenings. Not crazy busy. I go on some Saturday evenings for a late dinner and the lady who works there, remembers my order, and is very friendly.

I usually start with a hot and sour soup. Then a combination plate of chop suey, chicken fried rice and chicken balls plus I usually throw in an egg roll. Food is always nice and hot, and the portions are generous. Will need to go back for the buffet earlier one night.“
