“I've only tried the combos and they taste great!! Using delivery, the food always arrives hot and fresh. It's full of flavour and the General Tao's chicken is just right on the spice level. Love the veggies and the rice contains bits of real chicken. This is my go-to for Canadian-Chinese food in the city. I prefer authentic Chinese food but this tastes good too.🥠🥡“

“Best Chinese food I’ve had in a long long time. I had comb. Plate #4. There were big chunks of chicken in the chicken balls and the garlic spare ribs were the most tender, meat falling of the bones. Thank you.“

“On average we get take out from Sula Wok once per week. We love the food and the vibe of the place. (Sula and her gang are also very nice to deal with). I really like the traditional Pad Thai. Recently, Sula asked that I try a slightly new version of the dish (apparently less fishy). Sula asked that I let her know if I liked it or not. While I thought the taste was a little different (maybe not as spicy or “fishy”), I still loved it and will be ordering it again.“

“This is definitely a fine dining experience. I am overjoyed to have authenic Pekin duck in Canada. Service is impeccable. Their plating of every dish, including the Pekin Duck, is beautiful. How they plate their dish also has a hidden meaning. Many names of their dishes code with a Chinese idiom. All staff speak fluent English. Elegant and authentic, you cannot ask for more.“

“Genuinely the best noodle spot I've tried in the downtown Ottawa area. Everything from the handmade noodles, to the delicious flavors and generous portions make for a top notch place to stop and have a meal. “Came here on a whim after going to a brewery and needed some quick food. It was a Friday night, so it was very busy, but luckily there was a table for two because we just walked in. Super great service and very friendly staff. The orders came out very quick since it’s mainly dumplings and we tried the lamb and coriander as it’s not something that I can make at home and we also tried the curry pan fried dumplings. Both were super delicious and actually very filling. We took some of it home and they included some of the spicy sauce with it. Definitely will be coming back to try more! I would suggest coming in a group so you can order multiple things.“

“I’ve been a few times now and just went for my son’s birthday. We had a large group and there was something there for everyone. Everything was fresh and delicious as usual. We will continue to have Happy Lamb on our dinner out rotation 😊“

“My favourite lunch spot! This small take-out stand offers a small but varied selection of classic northern Chinese dishes; my favourites are the zhajiang noodle and the dumplings. The prices are a really great deal (and tax is included in the price!), especially for the noodle dishes which are quite filling. And the family who runs this place are super sweet and friendly. I cannot recommend this spot highly enough if you're at uOttawa and are looking for a quick, affordable, tasty, and satisfying meal!“

“Another Vietnamese Restaurant we've visited.
Located on the side street.
It was quiet and the staff were so polite and friendly.
Inside was very spacious and clean.
Food was great and freshly made. Good portion.
I love their chili garlic oil.
One thing concerns me is the parking space, good thing we parked on the other fastfood chain near by and we just walk few blocks away going on this place.

Overall was a good experience if you're craving for good food that makes your belly full and satisfied.

“Love these guys. Typical Chinese-Canadian food, have been ordering the combo F for over a decade. Food is simple, but very tasty. Also, years ago (before uber eats and all that), I was actually missing a buck or two (mistake on my part, didn't count my money right like a first year university student that can't handle his liquor quite yet) and their delivery guy was nice enough to give me the food anyways. Haven't forgotten, and am still a loyal and grateful customer more than 10 years later. BTW, I'm very much looking forward to my combo F, which is scheduled to arrive in 10 minutes!“

“Everything is simply awesome. The menus are simple, with a lot if options. The service is very polite and friendly (and online ordering is a big plus), food is delivered very promptly (one time it was 15 minutes early!). The food portions are generous, but quality is not sacrificed for quantity. What's a cool plus is that they use a mix of Styrofoam and reusable plastic containers (not only better for storage but a little less wasteful). I have only eaten 3 times from here, but have been very happy all times. The fried rice, general tao chicken, chicken balls, and egg rolls (among like 5 others I've tried) have all tasted great. “This is just a take out place so the atmosphere can only be so good.
The service is just fine, they even bend over backwards to serve you quickly.
What I like the most is maybe just a detail, but I think it's important; The chicken balls use consistently nice white breast meat that has no gristle or weird texture.
The deep frying is not greasy at all.
Some of the options are very 'normal' but that's fine with me. Chinese food is comfort food, and I happen to like the regular offerings a lot.
What's nice though is their more traditional dishes are quite nice indeed for a little takeout place.
At this point, I'd say they are my favorite spot in Gatineau for takeout. I know quite a few dine-in places that are nowhere close to this good and consistent.“

“Can’t say enough good things. The food is authentic and delicious. As close to you’ll get to homemade outside of home. A local mom&pop restaurant. Cafeteria-style with lots of seating, though most do takeout. I’ve eaten here many times. Staff are quick and pleasant.
