“It was a perfect meal. However, could you possibly use a little less salt on the chicken wings?? They were so salty that my tongue went numb—I wonder if it was a mistake. Still, they were the best chicken wings I've ever had. ??The pho was also delicious. I'll definitely come back!?♀️?“

“Nestled in a quiet corner in Unionville, Pho Mi 88 is a delightful gem for anyone craving Vietnamese cuisine. As soon as you step through the door you are greeted by a tantalizing spicy aroma that instantly whets your appetite. The restaurant is immaculately clean with a cozy ambiance that invites you to settle in comfortably.
When it comes to food, Pho Mi 88 does not disappoint. Price is reasonable and the portions are generous with plenty of meat ensuring you leave satisfied without feeling overly stuffed. I tried the green curry pho noodle soup which was absolutely delicious and hit the right spot. No Vietnamese meal is complete without a cup of of their renowned drip coffee. Pho Mi 88 drip coffee is exceptional - rich and aromatic, a true highlight of the meal offering a delightful finish that leaves you refreshed and content.
Whether you are a seasoned enthusiast of Vietnamese cuisine or a newcomer looking to explore new flavours, this restaurant is a must visit.“

“Probably the best pho in the area! Everything we ordered was amazing and when they brought the food to the table, the aroma and smell of the food was enticing. The interior is large and decorated well, with space for big groups. The grilled pork rice was great and the portion of meat was huge. The braised beef noodles was my favourite, with very tender beef, fragrant soup, and texture of the dried noodles that was great. The large pho also comes with free noodle refills which we enjoyed!“

“Picked up takeout from The Pho Restaurant tonight, ordering their vermicelli noodles with grilled lemongrass pork, beef, and chicken. The dish was a bit of a mixed bag—the beef, while lean, felt tough and lacked flavor. On the flip side, the pork and chicken were fatty and flavorful, which helped balance things out overall.
The takeout process was straightforward. I ordered online through their website and picked it up at the specified time, with payment handled in-store—quick and easy. One thing that caught my attention was that unlike other Vietnamese spots I’ve visited, this restaurant didn’t offer an option to select a single protein with the vermicelli noodles; the dish automatically included all three.
While I’m undecided on a full recommendation just yet, I’m intrigued enough to return and explore other dishes on their menu.“

“Not very many places that serve chicken pho with only chicken broth.
I decided to bring my family here for dinner. The food did not disappoint. The service was great. We have 2 kids and the wait staff were friendly and so patient with us during the weekend dinner rush.“

“I've been going to this restaurant for years. Food is highly recommended. The price is good too and the portion and quality of food had not changed since I started going there. It takes me 45 minutes to come to this restaurant. The drive does not bother coz I know the food is good, so it's worth the drive. It can get busy so be mindful of the hours you go.“

“This is a hidden gem. ???I was introduced to this restaurant by my brother who had followed them from their Markham location. This is now our go-to Pho place.
The soup is always hot; they give you good quality beef and good portion. They also offer both dry and fresh noodles. My husband also likes their pork chops.
This is run by Vietnamese. You can trust their recipes are authentic.“

“First time trying this place... I overheard a staff mentioning the restaurant's been around for decades. I tried their sliced beef in soup noodles with satay & peanut sauce - great presentation, savory soup base, but the noodles were a bit mushy. The beef slices were good, not tough to chew even after they were cooked by the broth. I'm not a fan of the sticky tables and being seated right next to the hallway of the plaza - too much traffic next to me.“

“Special Hue Style Beef Noodle with Beef Rib was flavourful and generous with the meat portion. Love the fall off the bone beef rib soak in slow cooking broth which is yummy. Look forward to try other dishes and thanks for the wonderful meal.“

“Superb, superb, superb.
I accidentally found this restaurant today and was attracted by the reviews and avg rating it receives - does it offer food beyond my expectations? Indeed, it does.
We ordered 3 dishes that's common in most Vietnam pho restaurant- beef pho, lemongrass fried chicken with rice, and a mango salad. To be honest, I was a bit confused about the price of mango salad because it is more expensive than others.
It was not too long before the answer is provided beef pho I would rate 8/10, they are so considerate to ask you if you like the bean sprout to be served cooked or raw, with or without basil and lime. Lemongrass fried chicken 9/10 - the chicken was just perfect, the salad is fine but the rice was a bit hard.
And here comes the mango salad, omg, this is the best mango salad I have tried so far - it offers a whole mix of different flavors, not just sweet n sour, but also something extra - gauva slice, peppermint leaves, fried onion and cooked shrimps. 10/10 for this dishes.
As a proof, I took a picture of the dishes when we finished- they were all empty. I can't say how satisfied I am with this dinner and for sure I recommend this restaurant to you.
If you are a Japanese anime fan, you'll find lots of toys in this restaurant as decorations. Extra perk, ey.
Vegetarian options: They offer vegetarian dishes.“

“Small family run Vietnamese restaurant. Nothing fancy on the inside, but the the noodles are just right and the broth is not too salty. It's uncommon to be able to enjoy the broth with many other pho places as the salty taste lingers for hours afterwards. Not here - enjoyed the whole thing and will come back another day for more of their reasonably priced pho.“

“Food was amazing. Service, wasn't the greatest. It was busy but sitting for 15 mins to get the cheque is a bit much“

“This is what pho used to be in the GTA before the crazy inflation. Is it the best pho I ever had? No. But it's $8.99 for a pretty good portion of both beef and noodles. The broth was clear and had good flavor. It's just great value compared for all these places that sells $15-$18 pho now.“

“Classic for Stouffville. I have been coming here for years, and it is still quite good. I forgot to snap a picture of the pho, but it is a basic dish. Their iced coffee was great. Right balance of sweet, bitter, and milkiness. I would recommend that out of it all. I used to really enjoy their wonton noodle soup, as the wontons were full of meat and flavour.
Vegetarian options: Whole section of of vegetarian items.“
