“Had Pho and vermicelli. Food quality was very good though the brisket and rare beef portions in the Pho was noticeably less than comparable restaurants like Pho An Ngon. Staffs were ok. “Overall very good. Clean place, cozy decor (lots of plants, real and fake), welcoming staff, interesting menu with different items than other restaurants. The taste overall was good. I ordered chicken pho and added vegetables. It costs more but the end result is a much more balanced meal. Though I must say the size large came with a lot of noodles and not enough chicken. But I was happy that a large was actually quite large! Thank you! I also really like that they gave me a chilli pepper, I always prefer it. I also ordered to-go a box of fried squid cakes, they were really good, but smaller than I expected, so I felt they were very expensive for what I got. The dipping sauce that came with it was not my cup of tea, I’m not a fan of the shrimp paste flavour. The table top looks like it needs a better cleaning, if you look at it from an angle it looks dirty or oily. Otherwise overall I would say not a bad restaurant.“

“This feels like a hidden gem because it’s always so quiet in there, but this is a great example of one of those good simple family owned Vietnamese places. I’ve had a few things on the menu and everything tasted very fresh, high-quality and delicious. In the winter this is one of my favourite places for pho, and I’m very partial to their vermicelli bowls. Service is always friendly and efficient and the place is always clean and inviting.“

“The hype is real! This super-authentic chay (vegetarian) Vietnamese restaurant is as close to the one I've eaten at in Vietnam as anything you'll find over here. I'm fairly confident that I've tried every vegetarian pho in Toronto and Flower Lantern's is the hands-down winner - rich, flavourful broth, huge portions of noodles, and a sampler of every Asian-style mock meat they have on offer elsewhere in the menu (standouts in the soup being the faux chicken and faux bbq pork). “The lemongrass and mushroom tofu is so delicious. Close to my grandmas recipe who passed away. There are also these mini banh mi soft baguettes you can get to make skinny little banh mis at home with pate and butter. They are still pretty good on their own, but I really like the size and texture. Definitely check them out if you need vegetarian fare. Can also order catering like trays of spring rolls. “Best pho I tried in the GTA. What makes a good pho is when the broth doesn’t make you thirsty and makes you hydrated. Good price too. Highly recommend this place as I tried many different pho in the gta and it always taste too salty or have that msg taste. You know it hydrates you when they don’t use msg for the flavour. As I’m not sure but definitely it’s not overly salty“

“The bakery owner's service attitude is very cheerful, cute, enthusiastic, and friendly. The bakery is a bit small, so when there are many customers, the store does not have enough room to wait, so customers have to stand out on the street, which is very inconvenient and especially in the winter, customers will get cold. The dishes, sticky rice, rolls, cakes of all kinds, fried spring rolls, etc., are quite delicious, but for the sticky rice dish, the store should cook it with coconut water and add sugar, it will definitely be more delicious. Food is great - customer service not so much. If I ask to sit somewhere; I should be seated there.

The Pho broth is amazing, flavorful, deep, and aromatic. I ordered the well-done beef with tendon (small) it was fabulous, so much so, I wish I had ordered a medium because I got just 1 large tendon 😢. Small means smaller portions, obviously, so no complaints.

The fresh rolls are great! The beef especially- has a bit of a char to it and no fat!!! So good.
The menu prices listed in the pictures here on google are wrong - the prices have increased, but the food is worth every penny.

It's a cute atmosphere - regular mom n pop Vietnamese place. I've only tried the pho so far, but I'll be back to try the great things they have on the menu. My server was kind but unfortunately doesn't speak English 😕. The service is fast.

Didnt put much peanuts. Portion of meat was small. Evrything was fresh. Meat and salad were delicious. Soup broth has a good flavour. Small portion of meat. Everything was fresh. It wasnt great, wasnt bad either. Fresh food. In comparison to other phos, portion of meat was smaller. I would eat here again, but try different items“

Since moving to Windsor Essex Area, I stop at this place ever time we go North through Toronto. The prices are always fair, and the family run atmosphere is a welcoming touch.
