“I come to this particular Black Bear every year because it is the one nearest to the hotel nearest to where my dad lives. I go to a Black Bear Diner pretty often, and this one is up to the same high standards as basically all the others I've visited. This visit, however, was not to see my dad but to go to his funeral. It was a really rough day today. I could hardly leave the hotel room. But when I did, and I sat there just reading for a bit over a hamburger, listening to nothing in particular, my waiter was very helpful and attentive despite there seeming to be a lot of people and not enough waiters. He had no way of knowing that today was one of the hardest days in my life. He was kind, attentive, and engaged me in a brief conversation in a natural way without it being forced. I sat for a bit after my meal and had refills for another half hour, until just after closing time. My waiter's name is Ethan. Melissa told me that while she wasn't the manager, I should put a review up online so that my compliment gets back to him. I don't know if I will be back here any time soon. If I am, I will hope to see Ethan, who just did his job and who was genuine.“

“Good place and consistent. However this last time I ordered a wrapped hot and jazzy with chicken. Guy asked if I needed a fork and I said no, it’s a wrap and I’ll use my hands. Then I get this thing! Still tastey but what even is this? Lol“

“It has a decent salad bar with a fine selection including eggs, olives, peppers, chicken, ham, fruits and more.If you have a nut and dairy allergy like me, go early or risk cross contamination from the mad rush of folks who do not pay attention to that.There is a hot food bar as well. The menu changes daily but cannot eat from there due to cross contamination / cooking risks due to said allergy. I hear good comments frequently though.There is also the Sub4 restaurant inside if you have time for a sit down meal, traditional American plates.Last but not least there is a coffeehouse with a fair selection of coffee / tea options.“

“This was our first time here and certainly won't be the last. The ambiance, service and cuisine made for a marvelous evening. We enjoyed decadent salads (Swiss Chef and Beets with gorgonzola) The dessert was divine, and like our salads, the portions were generous and the quality of ingredients were excellent. We feasted on a double berry tart a la mode. its presentation was photo worthy. All food had an artistic presentation. We were so impressed 👏“

“We had a wonderful meal at decarli last night for our anniversary. The short ribs truly deserve the hype, we were blown away. The seafood pasta was amazing as well. Cocktails were well balanced with good variety. My partner loves classic cocktails and I love unique ones and they had a selection of both. He was a big fan of the walnut bitters old fashioned. We split a steak tartare appetizer and a salted caramel cheesecake for dessert. Our server was very warm and attentive despite the busy restaurant, and our food came out quickly. This was our first time at decarli and we left with a very positive first impression. Great atmosphere, romantic without feeling stuffy. I am confused by some of the reviews- who cares it’s in a strip mall? Parking was easy and it’s not like we’re in NYC, it’s Beaverton we’re talking about. 10 years ago the whole town was basically a strip mall. Overall 5 stars and we will be back.“

“La Provence in Beaverton is our favorite location in this excellent chain, and we always enjoy their wonderful food when we are visiting the area. Their bakery has suppled us with many welcomed hostess or celebration gifts (oh, those macarons!) over the years. The staff is excellent as well (hi, Cory, thanks again!). Highly recommended.“

“I always call it the world's most spacious dive bar lol. Good food, poker machines, music, sports with plenty of TVs, pool, days, jukebox, Golden tee. Only thing I miss was live bands. They have a little stage and plenty of room to have some shows, I still don't understand not having live music anymore...“

“We arrived 30 minutes before closing (2:30 pm). They were gracious when they reminded us about them closing but were not pushy to get us to leave. Service was great, and the food was amazing. A large strawberry was made into a flower on the plate, and the salad was very fresh and colorful. They are known for we wonderful biscuits and gravy and today was no exception. They have never disappointed and we are there every other week. Good job!!“

“I really enjoy their food and typically only dine in, but did takeout today. Ordered their burger, add bacon and avocado. There was no avocado on my burger a little disappointed, especially considering its somwthing i paid extra for. Everything else was great though. Food was still warm even after my 10 min drive home. “I go there once in a great while when I need a bbq fix and don't want to spend my whole day making bbq ribs myself. Even though I can make perfectly good bbq ribs myself this place is very good when you need the fix and don't have the time. Price is good and I've always had great customer service along with great tasting bbq food. Great job people!!“

We had an issue with a coupon at a different location, we had to drive over to this location and although our drive ended up a little bit longer to get food, they took care of us and on top of that went above and beyond. It was my child’s birthday weekend and Angel surprised my kiddo with a little birthday treat to celebrate. It definitely was a visit not to forget. Thank you so much, we really appreciate you all! She immediately made us feel welcomed and through our visit took the time to let us know about their current gift card promotion where we could receive an extra $25 in bonus bucks with our purchase. Since we visit Red Robin often, the offer was perfect for us, and we really appreciated that she took the initiative to share it as it was the first we heard of it although this was our 3rd time at RR this week. Her enthusiasm, professionalism, and helpfulness set a great tone for our visit and this is why i gave this location 5 stars.“
