“I remember going to their original location down on Main St. right next to/connecting to the Half Moon. I moved here in 2008 and have known them for 14 years now. From the very first time, they all treated me with respect and kindness, very genuine and humble... GREAT PEOPLE!! It used to be you could dine in at both places. The atmosphere was wonderful until covid hit. Now it's only take out. The food is superior, and everyone still remembers my name... love them! Continued success!!“

“We had a late lunch around 2pm here on a Saturday after fishing near Hagg lake. We had a party of 9 and had a party room available that could fit us all together at one table. We appreciated being able to be seated together. They do charge a tip/service charge of 18% to use the room. We tried the chicken teriyaki don, katsu don, beef don, and salmon teriyaki don,oyakodon, as well as a salmon avocado roll. Everything was presented nicely and tasty. The dons included a small dish of soy based green beans. The one drawback was the kitchen was a little on the slow side, perhaps due to the time (2pm) we were being served.“

“Went here for a classic roll. Requested a spicy tuna but im not sure if i just got a regular tuna roll. Not spicy. I ended up using my wasabi for heat and ran out near the end. Not a lot of wasabi to start with.

The roll was fine. Not outstanding but it was decent. If I'm back again I'll try something different.

Parking was pretty full but I found a spot to pull into. I was seated immediately as well during the lunch hour.“

I LOVE the dipping sauces, my only complaint is there was an occasion our dipping sauce was extremely watery completely liquid. I love the Cilantro chutney . I would update to give stars if they added coconut chutney and they made sure their dipping sauces were fresh and thick not watery. I am so sad that I moved away from this location. I have never been inside the restaurant I've only ordered online. Please sell çoconut and spicy tomatoe chutney for the pizza. Cilantro chutney is amazing with pizza.“

However, it turned out that Google had the wrong information about their operating hours. Despite this setback, the staff at Baja Fresh were incredibly understanding and patient with us. This was our first time visiting our local MOD Pizza here in Hillsboro, and wow—what an experience!
From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for a good time. Christopher greeted us at the door rocking a cowboy hat, and that instantly set the tone for a fun and welcoming visit. As we went through the ordering process, he kept the energy going—he was hilarious, easy to banter with, and made the whole experience genuinely enjoyable.
It wasn’t just about ordering pizza—it felt like a real human connection, which you don’t always get these days. Christopher truly made our visit memorable, and you can tell he loves what he does.
And of course, the pizza was amazing too!
We’re so excited to have found our new MOD “family” here in Hillsboro. Thank you for such a fantastic experience—we’ll definitely be back soon!

“We were camping at Stubb Stewart and went for lunch after reading reviews. Very diverse menu something for every taste! We (husband and I) shared the crab cakes, tempura green beans, and Parmesan garlic tots.server was very good, brought us 2 types of dips, one spicy and one not so. Crab cakes were very good, 4 balls, real crab with a very good kimchi tartar. Green beans were crispy with Parmesan and garlic, tots were also crispy with garlic..not greasy at all . Needless to say we had our garlic fix. Would highly recommend!“

They also threw in free potstickers, which was a surprise! The pad see ewe was perfectly flavored, with slightly crunchy vegetables that paired well with the soft noodles.“
