“Tried the seasonal eggnog cake. If tiramisu met a white sheet cake at the holiday party and got sloppy together - it would be this cake. The moisture and flavor of the eggnog soaked the cake from the bottom up. The creamy icing on top sprinkled with nutmeg brought home the tiramisu vibe. Pretty good effort at a fancy cake by a cookie company.“

However, I didnt find the cupcakes especially great, especially for the price. They were good, but nothing special. I really wanted them to be amazing. “A little bakery with big taste, first time there i bought kiche scones tart and breakfast sandwich, I just stopped for a coffee but everything looked and smelled soo good I couldn't help myself and I was right every item I ordered was beyond what I thought it would be the sausage feta broccoli kiche was flavored perfectly wish I had bought a whole pan and probably will next time. “I've never taken the time to write a review for any business, but am pretty put off and have the time. Today is my husband's and my 11th wedding anniversary. We had Saint Cupcake at our wedding with a cupcake tower and wedding topper cake in 2011. To celebrate our 11 years of marriage, we went to go pick up cupcakes. Based on online information and the sign on the door, the business closes at 5pm on Saturdays. We arrived at 4:20PM - 40 minutes before closing. Both doors were shut and locked, but there were two employees inside and cupcakes on the back counters. They ignored us, even though I attempted to open each of the double doors - they wouldn't even look up. I knocked on the door and the woman sweeping reluctantly came and opened the door and told us that they had unfortunately closed early due to some issue. I tried to explain to her we were celebrating our wedding anniversary and had had Saint Cupcake at our wedding 11 years prior. She said they didn't have much of a selection left anyway and closed the door on us. It was a shocking and weird interaction and I was really put off. I will never go out of my way to give Saint Cupcake my business again in the future. 👎👎“

“Excellent! Not an egg tart fan but loved these. Crispy shell and creamy egg custard - not like some places taste like jello. Love sesame balls with red bean filling. Two delicious treasures: baked BBQ pork buns - generously filled; and beef curry pastry - flakey crust and tasty curry beef. Bought so many other goodies. Also, got the green roll-up cake with coconut cream filling - lightly sweet. I left the room to get my phone for pics, came back to 3 empty boxes already put into the trash. Good thing I ate mine on the drive back. The highlight was the great customer service from Scarlett, Becky, and Eddie. Thank you all for your patient Kindness and attentive assistance.“

“I've been gluten and dairy free since 2021... not by choice. That's also the last time I had baked goods that actually tasted like they were supposed to. I tried several items from Gem Bakery including: cupcakes, chocolate cake, glazed donut, caramel brownie, chocolate cookie, and bagels. Oh my goodness, they were just how I remembered them tasting! Texture was spot-on, flavor was delicious, and I wouldn't have known the desserts were gluten and dairy free at all. There were no gritty or gummy textures in the wheat flour replacement and there wasn't an overwhelming coconut flavor where dairy was replaced. I hope to return to this basket every time we visit Portland!“

“I have fond memories of this bakery pre-covid when the pastries were actually FULL of fillings so I’m a little biased.
The quality is good and I enjoy the occasional treat (savory and sweet) when I’m in the area. The amount of filling is probably 1/3 of what it use to be.
Service is friendly: the young man who helped me today went to the back and brought out warm curry buns for me!

I would love to see a return of to the previous glory that was King’s Bakery ✨generously✨ stuffed bbq pork buns and pineapple pastries but can’t complain too much since I already ate 4 of their goodies today 😋“

Today I had to run out to Molalla for a plant delivery and, on a whim, typed “bakery” into Maps… and THANK GOODNESS I did, because this place is an absolute treasure! 💎 Tucked just off Beavercreek Road near 213, it’s hidden among the warehouse spaces — but trust me, once you turn off the main road, it’s right there and so worth the stop. The moment I walked in, I was hit with THE most heavenly smell. You know that warm, cozy, life-is-good kind of aroma? Yeah, that. Fresh cinnamon rolls, hot focaccia, cookies just out of the oven, quiche, sandwiches… it was sensory overload in the best possible way. I genuinely wanted to buy one of everything. I ended up grabbing both focaccias — the rosemary sea salt (perfection) and their special mascarpone version — plus a ham & cheese quiche made with locally raised ham from Campfire Farms here in Oregon City. The fact that they source local ingredients whenever possible? Huge bonus. And let me just say… this focaccia might actually be the best thing I’ve ever tasted. Dipped it in olive oil, herbs, and a drizzle of caramelized onion balsamic and suddenly remembered that simple, high-quality food is pure magic. Inside, the space is ADORABLE — a beautiful mural, shelves filled with local goods, tea, and giftable goodies. It feels homey, creative, and genuinely cared for. Everything here is freshly baked DAILY, and they’re only open Thursday–Saturday, so plan ahead! They’re also taking Thanksgiving pie orders (and likely more holiday desserts), so if you want to impress your guests this season, place a preorder ASAP. Trust me.
