Not saying I can't afford it, but paying $8 per beer when you invite your friends for lunch and a few drinks, you feel it a little heavier.

“We just got BBQ to go from Dickey's BBQ now located next to the MOD pizza in the Cruse Meadows Commons off Meadows Rd. It takes a lot of faith to open up a new venture at any time and especially now. This is a chain and the owner is local. We tried the brisket, pulled pork and spare ribs. All had good flavor and were very tender. The ribs had a nice smoke ring and were falling off the bone. All the sides were good except we didn't love the beans. I liked the potato casserole (basically loaded mashed potatoes) and the cabbage slaw was like what you get it KFC or Safeway deli but not as sweet. We tried 3 sauces - Classic, Carolina and Sweet. Enjoyed all of them. They run a $12.99 special of the day that rotates and offer a free kids meal on Sundays with regular entree orders. Loyalty points are available thru their app. If you haven't tried them yet, reward their leap of faith and get your good bbq grub on.“

“I had to run to the post office and just barely made it after leaving work a little early so I could do so. Tired and relieved that I had retrieved the mail I had thought might have been lost, I made my way out the door and back towards my truck. Across the street from the post office there are plenty of food carts to choose from, I made my way there and chose JJ’s BBQ randomly as I knew I’d have a great choice of protein and honestly the smell pulled me right in! A sweet Smokey flavor fueled my hunger as I looked upon a bountiful menu. I inquired about the dinner options to the man at the window” how much for extra ribs I asked he told me 3-4 for bucks each I hope I’m not short changing him and that that wasn’t special treatment bc it felt like he was being extra kind to me and created me with a smile. I don’t know 3-4 bucks each sounds cheap considering how tender they were! He urged me to just get double ribs and that that would be plenty of food. I would have expected him to try and get the most money out of me as possible but this was definitely not the case. I looked through the sides unfortunately the fresh corn bread was not up for another hour so I went with potatoe salad. I got my food in a timely manner and sat down eagerly and absolutely demolished everything like I was still in the Military, I was freaking starving after work all day. When I got up to throw my box away the man at the window comes out and say you ate that to fast let me get you some chicken. What the heck now this guys giving me food! He comes out immediately with two hot pieces of chicken that were delicious. I left the place full and honestly I felt like the guy genuinely just enjoyed watching me eat like it made home happy bc he gave me a smile like I don’t usually see. I will be back and these guys are super friendly!!“

“We had J&L cater our 130 person wedding with two choices of Meats and 3 sides. The whole process with them went so smoothly, they delivered our food timely and we received TONS of great reviews on the food. Their catfish was AMAZING and the corn bread and green beans with bacon were a hit. “BEST PLACE TO GET ASIAN FOODS!!! I was traveling from a different state here, and my group was really hungry, and we wanted Asian foods since we're Asian. This place surprised us so much. It tastes so much like our home country. I couldn't provide any picture because we were really hungry from the long trip and just dove in to eat. The food reminds me of my home country, and it was amazing. The prices are affordable. The service is awesome. My sister dropped her orange juice and got a new one without extra charges. It looks small and old, but the food isn't. The quality is fresh. The people are really friendly. Definitely coming back again.“

“Perfect, Busters always has the best bbq this tine i had the ham sandwich, generous portion of ham on an onion bun. Fries and a root beer,,their sauces are really good I like the spicy and the sweet all were great. Staff is super friendly and polite, restaurant was clean and inviting and the smell when you walk in the door alone will have you coming back again and again. Prices are reasonable, One of my favorite spots when I come to this area. I'd love to see one in vancouver area.“

The slightly smokey and creamy dressing was the perfect pairing with the little bit bitter lettuce. I'm definitely going back for the schnitzel and fried chicken sandwiches! The common eating area was well heated and super comfortable to dine in.“
