Observed that most of staff looked unenthusiastic and very few smiling—including the manager who was dressed like a lumberjack. (A bit weird for what is being touted as a “French restaurant.”). Beans and chorizo elevate that dish to a meal. The Cioppino is the go-to I look forward to. At a time when restaurants are following food trends and throwing anything out there, hoping it will stick, this tortoise vs the hare restaurant wins every time!“

“Great food and service. Can be a bit loud at peak times but I've never experienced a noise issue while dining in. If you're seated in the area by the door you'll inevitably end up smelling like the kitchen when you leave. Overall, absolutely worth it and we will continue to return!“

“This is a great first date place. The food presentation was outstanding. However, we felt it was a little blan. They use RC soda products here, which are flat at the bar but have carbonation if gotten from the back. Amazing happy hour!

For how fresh and delicious most of their menu items are, I was surprised at the burger quality - I’m almost certain it was a frozen patty, which seems so unlike this spot. I could be wrong, it just didn’t taste like what the price point makes it seem you’re getting. That said, everything else I’ve eaten here is fantastic.“

Ambiance was great low lighting- the best wallpaper in the bathrooms. They have a lot of wine offerings but I skipped on that. They have a bar and several tables. Their cocktails and mocktails were excellent. The cheesecake was divine. Too stuffed so I got it to go and it was just incredible. I will be back!“

“This was our first time here and certainly won't be the last. The ambiance, service and cuisine made for a marvelous evening. We enjoyed decadent salads (Swiss Chef and Beets with gorgonzola) The dessert was divine, and like our salads, the portions were generous and the quality of ingredients were excellent. We feasted on a double berry tart a la mode. its presentation was photo worthy. All food had an artistic presentation. We were so impressed 👏“

“I had a memorable dinner at Higgins Restaurant. I ordered their Oregon Mushroom Set Menu, and each dish reflected their respect for local ingredients. The wild mushroom bisque was particularly delicious, with a smooth texture and rich aroma. The waiter was very professional and attentive, explaining the background of each dish. The elegant yet relaxed atmosphere was perfect for a leisurely meal with friends or family.“

“Go here and get the best (huge) wedge salad of your life. With the fried chicken add-on. So good! Staff are super friendly, efficient, and the drinks are unique. “This is a hidden gem. Service was great. Enthusiastic and welcoming. Drinks were served swiftly and competently. Menu is conservative but still fun to explore. My club and French fries were satisfying. Was thrilled to see actual chicken meat in my sandwich and not sliced deli meat. Lots of real avocado, bacon and grilled thickly sliced sour dough made it a meal. Beet salad to start was dressed a bit heavily but delicious nonetheless.
This is a small space with only me and my 4 comrades and another party about the same size sat directly next to us. Why?
Would be nervous to see this place filled as I'd worry about hearing conversation.
My friends told me that both servings of garlic fries weren't hot. And my other friend did not get his requested avocado on his burger. Also, we were celebrating a birthday and don't think they serve dessert as none was offered.
Also, I assume you can park in motel lot for dining. If so, that's a bonus in NW!“
