“This is a hidden gem! Tucked in the hills, the tasting room has a beautiful view of the vineyard and forest. There are wild turkeys nearby adding to the charm. The wines are named after Persian historical figures and the staff share the unique stories and connections to the Persian winery owners. We had a lovely visit and the wines are all great!“

Your staff has laughed with me, listened to my troubles, comforted me after learning of the loss of my 15 yo granddaughter, and celebrated with me as if they were my family! Bravo! “We rode our bikes up the hill to Youngberg and were met with the most lovely service there. The lady with the short blonde hair and tattoos (can’t remember her name) was so nice and accommodating. She provided us immediately with tall glasses of water and gave us time to cool down before recommending some fantastic wine. She also allowed us to enjoy the breathtaking views and offered to take pictures of us. I’m not sure if we’d recommend taking your bikes all the way up the hill for everyone, but it is well worth a stop no matter how you get there - for the views, the wine and especially the service.“

“This is country French cuisine. Plentiful and delicious. They take the comfort food preparation very seriously but true to Oregon, you can show in your Sunday best or jeans and feel comfortable. We celebrate We drive from Hillsboro a few times a year. The staff always warm and friendly. Just go, and make it a special drive date.“

“Berts chuckwagon is some of the better barbecue we have around here. Trouble is in the northwest we just don’t have a lot of barbecue. I feel like the sides are what really shine. His ribs are good. They do it smoked style but they are pretty tough and dry and that’s what happens when you smoke ribs. Mine are like 10 times better in the oven and so juicy they fall off the bone. He’s a nice guy and the prices are moderate for what they offer portions are pretty generous. I’ve eaten here multiple times when I didn’t feel like cooking. Will probably come back again. But I do prefer to make my own barbecue over berts.“

“Celebrated 'moving to McMinnville day' with three other adults. One of us had this establishment recommended to him .. the recommendation was spot on. Grain Station is conveniently located in McMinnville, (but honestly, I have yet to find a place that's not cunveniently located in McMinnville.). We had plenty of parking to choose from. The facilities are very attractive with lots of light and tastefully warm colors and decor that puts you at ease the moment you walk in. We were greeted promptly and warmly by the staff and seated instantly in a booth with anchored benches. Our seats rocked back and forth a bit, like a swing chair. It wasn't bad but I wasn't sure if that was by design or an actual malfunction
The menu was extensive and very well presented and featured a cowboy / western flair with lots of options from salads, to a variety of appetizing sandwiches, burgers, pizzas, meatloaf, steak, fish and chips, and even steak. The sides are appropriate and numerous.
The food was very tasty. I had the cowboy brisket sandwich and it was delicious, though a touch on the fatty side. Others had maple bacon burger and waxed poetic about it. A grilled herb chicken and meatloaf with gravy rounded out a very nice dinner. Service was prompt, consciousness, and spot on. Only reason I didn't give it five stars was that the portions were a touch on the tiny side.
Overall, highly recommend Grain Station Brew Works.

“Hit the McMenamins Pub, McMinnville, Oregon on a recent visit and had a Capt. Neon Burger with tots and a Dirty Shirley.

The Capt. Neon Burger shows up looking unapologetically hearty. A soft, lightly toasted bun cradles a thick, juicy beef patty cooked to a satisfying char on the outside while staying tender inside. Crisp lettuce and fresh red onion add crunch and bite, while the bacon brings smoky richness that anchors the whole stack. It’s a straightforward burger done confidently...no gimmicks, just solid execution. The toothpick through the top is a small detail, but it reinforces that classic pub-burger presentation.

The tater tots on the side are exactly what you want them to be: golden, crunchy on the outside, fluffy inside, and clearly fried with care. Dunked into the generous pool of ketchup, they’re nostalgic in the best way

She’s just the sunshine and light of your day. We will definitely be back just to see her and be back for the food of course! “The guest rooms are small yet comfortable. My room had a sink in room. Very useful. The old building theme stands out in a lovely mcmenamins way. The history intact and written in story on the walls. I would suggest this location to anyone going through town.“

The food was good and was served quickly. It was a little lacking in flavor. It's typical Chinese fare. I took home half of it for another meal the next day.“
