50 Best Fast Food Restaurants in Portland

“Currently they are running a special called the Mariners Burger, which mimics the classic Seattle Dog in smash burger form. It's amazing, and absolutely inspired. However I'm not just here to write about the exceptional food this place serves, but rather the literal magic they deliver:

So, yesterday (10/17/2025 for future record) I, a lifelong Mariners fan, picked up said inspired burger on my way home from work to watch game 5 of the ALCS. For those who don't know, this is an historically rare feat for the Mariners, and as excited as I was to watch the game I was also starving.

Fast forward to my arrival home--the M's are down 2-1 and are once again beginning to look like a team that forgot how to play baseball. I sit on my couch exasperated, next to my dog with burger in hand. First bite: delicious, creamy, jalapeno spicy, CAL (BIG DUMPER) RALEIGH HITS A HOMER TO TIE THE GAME! I lose it, go absolutely ecstatic, dog is barking, etc. I realize I need to stand up and get some water so I do that. Next thing that happens, Blue Jays load the bases as I'm processing all of this sensory overload. I realize I'm once again starving and take a second bite--EUGENIO SUAREZ GRAND SALAMI! This is not hyperbole, nor lie, both bites led to some of the most impactful and momentous events in Seattle Mariners baseball history. My soul left my body, my brain still doesn't function right, and this morning I still believe that this burger made history happen last night through osmosis and magic.

Tomorrow is game 6 of the ALCS. Will definitely be buying another burger, maybe 5 for it.“

“We happened upon this place while walking back to our hotel from the Roseland theater, but I would drive an hour to eat here again! “I love this place! It’s a vegan fast food restaurant. Nothing fancy at all. Great customer service. Decent burgers. You will definitely want to get the double. The patties are pretty thin. The milkshakes are really good! Super thick and flavorful but not too sweet. Get the chocolate strawberry milkshake. It will knock your socks off. 😁“

“I stopped here to have some dumplings for lunch and I'm so glad I did. The dumplings were amazing. I also got two different sauces on the side, one mild and one hot, and both were great with the dumplings. I'm so glad I discovered one of the best dumpling spots in the area.“

“Excellent Bahn Mi (we had the Char Sui Pork) and yummy MoMo! We had the ones in a curry sauce.
We like spicy so we added the hot sauce for an extra kick!
The space is small and not fancy but very clean.

“Tried the lamb gyro, falafel, and hummus. All top notch. I would say even better than most sit down Mediterranean places I've had. Fair prices and good portions. The staff was friendly. Probably my new favorite food cart downtown.
I would say falafel is hit or miss at most places. But here they have such a fantastic balance of crispy texture and flavor/spice.“

“We had our first meal in Oregon at Gyro Grill. What an amazing way to start our vacation! Food was cooked to order and so delicious. Gyro plate, chicken kebab pita w fries gyro burger and a bubble tea. Both the tzatziki and hummus seemed like they were made on the spot.“

“Right off the freeway, super easy to get on and off the freeway from here. My son and I got a late night meal here after a Weird Al concert on Thursday Aug 14 2025. We were hungry and about 40 miles away from home, we got off the freeway, got our food and got back on the freeway in about 10 min. Food was fresh, served fast and super tasty. Thank you“

“Probably one of the most generous portions of ramen in town. The space is very crowded and it is mostly self serve. Service is quick and the ramen tastes rich. Perhaps not the most Japanese flavor of ramen, but delicious nonetheless. The use of quail eggs is unique. Great value and fast casual.“

“I cannot say enough good things about love shack. The servers are always incredible, always great to chat with. The menu is creative and has a variety of many different things. The ribeye skewers and oysters live in my head rent free. We celebrated my birthday there this past week and they made it extra special.

I believe Johnny was the name of our server, and he was the best! I made a note on our reservation about how we knew we wanted oysters and he had 2 dozen ready for us when we got there. 10/10 as always, thank you Love Shack!“

“In an unlikely location in the heart of the issues on 82nd this restaurant is my go to because of the great customef service which defines the phrase fastfood. You are in and out so fast that im impressed every time. Eating out has become a very expensive trip out for the individual and the family. This place howeve,r is reasonbly priced and the food is excellent -especially the rootbeer freeze -which is second to none. Check it out its worth the trip.

Parking: Easy to access with multiple entrances.its also easy to exit being in close proximity to a traffic light“

“Very well made food. The fries were hot and crispy. it came with the right amount of salt and ketchup packets. The drive through staff was nice and friendly and I did not have to wait long for the fresh chicken patty yum. The only thing was the trash people left around the building made it kinda displeasing.“

“This is the cleanest fast food restaurant on 82nd I've seen. Bathrooms are very clean, including parking lot. A lot of homeless people hang around out side due to the bus stop being right on the side walk near the building but had no issues with them. The service has been the fastest I've seen in a while less then 5 minutes after Ordering. Even when asked to site out front to wait for meal. Great place love their Oreo large shakes they have now they really hook it up. And the plus side is the drive thru is open 24 hours witch is great for that late night munchies.“

Ive tried making new accounts and logging in different ways, but still will NOT ever work. If they were able to resolve this as well as offer some different deals or specials, I would deffinately eat here more often. There onion rings are always on point.“

“My adult daughter and I stopped in for a quick bite. She ordered 3 curry Bao. $10 is not bad. It was good, but I am not a curry guy.

The space is small and can seat 20 at the most.

The business seems to do mostly Uber Eats.

The decor is minimal and too much concrete for me.

“I was waiting for boba and one of the people working at Bombay Wala of India waved me over as I was staring at the menu. They quickly started handing me spoon samples even asking if I had any allergies just to make sure.
Both people working were so incredibly friendly. I ended up getting the Butter Chicken and Peanut butter Chicken as well as the saffron rice and Garlic Naan. Everything is so good and the portions were great! They even wrapped my container in plastic wrap and put it in a bag since I was taking it to go so that I would have a mess free meal! The extra care was appreciated! I dont frequent this mall often but if I want some Indian food this place will definitely be up on the list!“

“A real gem in the university district! Having been to Hawaii and eaten authentic plate lunch I can assure you the other reviews are incorrect. The restaurant is clean and spacious. The food is prepared well, tastes excellent and is priced very reasonably for the large portions. Something hard to find in the area. Another rarity is the owners take the time to get to know their customers. You can expect to be asked if you want "the usual" if you dine more than a few times.
